글로벌 액셀러레이터 스파크랩(대표 김유진)이 오는 30일 드림플러스와 함께 바이오 헬스 스타트업을 위한 ‘AI·바이오 헬스의 미래(AI the Future of Bio-Health) 스타트업 포럼’을 공동 개최한다고 14일 밝혔다.
이번 포럼은 AI와 바이오 헬스 산업의 융합을 통해 K-바이오의 혁신을 이끌고 있는 유망 스타트업 창업자들을 초청해, 실제 사례를 바탕으로 바이오 산업의 최신 트렌드와 도전 과제, 미래 비전 등을 심도 있게 다룬다.
연사로는 ▲AI 내시경 의료기기 ‘웨이메드 엔도(WAYMED Endo)’를 개발해 베트남, 태국, 중동 등 글로벌 지역에 공급 중인 웨이센 김경남 대표 ▲혈액 기반 대장암 조기진단 키트 ‘온코체크(ONCOCHECK)’ 및 감염병 쯔쯔가무시증 신속 진단키트를 개발 중인 이노제닉스 이혜영 대표 등이 나서 창업 배경부터 기술 개발 과정, 글로벌 시장 진출 전략 등을 공유한다.
이와 함께 포럼 진행을 맡은 스파크랩 김호민 공동대표는 스파크랩 포트폴리오사의 후속 투자 유치 사례를 중심으로, 바이오 스타트업 투자 동향과 실전 노하우를 소개할 예정이다.
행사는 서울 서초구에 위치한 드림플러스 강남 지하 1층 이벤트홀에서 진행되며, 바이오 및 헬스케어 분야 창업자(예비 포함)나 관련 기업 관계자라면 누구나 스파크랩 공식 홈페이지를 통해 사전 등록 후 무료로 참석할 수 있다.

한편 스파크랩은 2023년 바이오 특화 자회사 ‘스파크바이오랩(구 스파크바이오)’을 출범, 2024년에는 국내 최대 규모의 건강검진 전문 의료 기관인 한국건강관리협회와 함께 바이오·헬스테크 스타트업 육성을 위한 공유 실험실 플랫폼 ‘메디오픈랩’을 개소했다. 또한 지난해 연세대 바이오헬스기술지주회사, 서울대학교병원 의생명연구원 및 파트너스인베스트먼트와 협력해 기술 상용화부터 투자 연계까지 아우르며, 바이오 산업 성장을 위한 전방위적 지원에 나서고 있다.

SparkLabs Holds 'AI/Bio Health Future Startup Forum'
Global accelerator SparkLabs (CEO Kim Yu-jin) announced on the 14th that it will co-host the 'AI the Future of Bio-Health Startup Forum' for bio-health startups with Dreamplus on the 30th.
This forum invites promising startup founders who are leading the innovation of K-bio through the convergence of AI and the bio-health industry, and discusses the latest trends, challenges, and future vision of the bio industry in depth based on real-life cases.
Speakers include ▲ Weichen CEO Kim Kyung-nam, who is developing the AI endoscopic medical device 'WAYMED Endo' and supplying it to global regions including Vietnam, Thailand, and the Middle East, and ▲ Innogenix CEO Lee Hye-young, who is developing the blood-based colon cancer early diagnosis kit 'ONCOCHECK' and the infectious disease tsutsugamushi disease rapid diagnosis kit, who will share their founding backgrounds, technology development process, and global market entry strategies.
In addition, SparkLabs Co-CEO Ho-min Kim, who is in charge of hosting the forum, will introduce investment trends and practical know-how for bio startups, focusing on follow-up investment attraction cases of SparkLabs portfolio companies.
The event will be held at the event hall on the first basement floor of Dream Plus Gangnam, Seocho-gu, Seoul. Anyone who is a founder (or prospective founder) or an associate of a related company in the bio and healthcare fields can attend for free by pre-registering through the SparkLabs official website.
SparkLabs CEO Kim Yu-jin said, “As we enter an era where AI can predict and diagnose diseases early, the convergence of bio and cutting-edge technology is rapidly changing the new paradigm of the healthcare industry.” He added, “I hope this forum will provide entrepreneurs with practical insights and serve as an opportunity to expand the possibilities for cooperation between industries.”
Meanwhile, SparkLabs launched a bio-specialized subsidiary, 'SparkBioLabs (formerly SparkBio),' in 2023, and in 2024, opened 'MediopenLab,' a shared laboratory platform for fostering bio and health tech startups, together with the Korea Health Management Association, the largest medical institution specializing in health checkups in Korea. In addition, last year, it collaborated with Yonsei University Biohealth Technology Holdings, Seoul National University Hospital Biomedical Research Institute, and Partners Investment to provide comprehensive support for the growth of the bio industry, covering everything from technology commercialization to investment linkage.

スパークラップ、「AI・バイオヘルスの未来スタートアップフォーラム」開催

SparkLabs organise un « Forum des startups du futur de l'IA et de la biosanté »
L'accélérateur mondial SparkLabs (PDG Kim Yu-jin) a annoncé le 14 qu'il co-organiserait le « AI the Future of Bio-Health Startup Forum » pour les startups de bio-santé avec Dreamplus le 30.
Ce forum invite les fondateurs de startups prometteurs qui mènent l'innovation du K-bio à travers la convergence de l'IA et de l'industrie de la bio-santé, et discute en profondeur des dernières tendances, des défis et de la vision future de l'industrie bio en se basant sur des cas réels.
Parmi les intervenants figurent ▲ Kim Kyung-nam, PDG de Weichen, qui développe le dispositif médical endoscopique à IA « WAYMED Endo » et le fournit à des régions du monde telles que le Vietnam, la Thaïlande et le Moyen-Orient, et ▲ Lee Hye-young, PDG d'Innogenix, qui développe le kit de diagnostic précoce du cancer du côlon à base de sang « ONCOCHECK » et le kit de diagnostic rapide de la maladie infectieuse tsutsugamushi, qui partageront leurs antécédents fondateurs, leur processus de développement technologique et leurs stratégies d'entrée sur le marché mondial.
