경기 과천시는 혁신적인 기술을 보유한 창업가를 발굴하기 위해 ‘제7회 창업아이디어 경진대회’를 지난 11일 개최하고 총 12개 팀을 우수 창업가로 선정했다.
㈜다비다(대표 이은승)는 AI 기반 자기주도학습 플랫폼 ‘지니티처(GeniTeacher)’로 3년 이상 7년 미만 혁신트랙에서 ‘대상’을 수상했다고 16일 밝혔다.
경진대회를 통해 이은승 대표는 다비다의 기술력과 글로벌 비전을 공유했다. ‘지니티처’는 종이 혹은 태블릿에 쓴 글씨를 디지털화하고 이를 인공지능이 실시간 분석하여 학습자가 자기주도학습을 할 수 있게 개인 맞춤형 피드백을 제공하는 하이브리드 (온라인과 오프라인 & 아날로그와 디지털) 교육 솔루션이다.
다비다는 현재 10개국 해외 파트너와 함께 글로벌 출시를 준비 중이며, 특히 중동 시장을 블루오션으로 보고, 사우디아라비아, 이집트, 쿠웨이트, 바레인 그리고 아랍에미레이트 시장에 집중하고 있다.
이 대표는 미국 유학 시절, 수학 1타 강사로 활동하며 ‘공부달인되기, 미국유학성공기 그리고 수학용어사전’ 등 교육 관련 서적을 집필했고 2008년부터 “손으로 푼 필기 기반 인공지능이 분석해 도움을 주면 좋겠다”는 상상을 시작했다. 그로부터 17년이 지난 지금, 지니티처는 현실이 되었고, 교육뿐만 아니라 핀테크·건설 현장 디지털화 솔루션으로도 확장되고 있다.
다비다는 이번 수상을 계기로 과천시 창업보육센터 입주, 하반기 데모데이 피칭 기회, 정부사업 연계 등의 후속 지원을 통해 국내외 시장 진출을 본격화할 계획이다.

Davida, 2025 Gwacheon City Startup Idea Competition Innovation Track Grand Prize Winner
Gyeonggi Gwacheon City held the '7th Startup Idea Contest' on the 11th to discover entrepreneurs with innovative technologies and selected a total of 12 teams as excellent entrepreneurs.
Davida Co., Ltd. (CEO Eunseung Lee) announced on the 16th that it won the 'Grand Prize' in the innovation track for 3 to 7 years with its AI-based self-directed learning platform 'GeniTeacher'.
Through the competition, CEO Lee Eun-seung shared Davida’s technological prowess and global vision. ‘Genie Teacher’ is a hybrid (online and offline & analog and digital) education solution that digitizes handwriting on paper or tablets, analyzes it in real time with artificial intelligence, and provides personalized feedback to learners so that they can learn on their own.
Davida is currently preparing for a global launch with overseas partners in 10 countries, and is focusing on the Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, and United Arab Emirates markets, viewing the Middle East market as a blue ocean.
While studying abroad in the U.S., this representative worked as a first-rate math instructor and wrote books related to education, such as “Becoming a Study Master, Successful Study Abroad in the U.S., and a Dictionary of Math Terms.” In 2008, he began to imagine, “It would be nice if AI could analyze and help handwritten notes.” Now, 17 years later, Genie Teacher has become a reality, and is expanding beyond education to fintech and digitalization solutions for construction sites.
With this award, Davida plans to fully advance into domestic and international markets through follow-up support such as moving into the Gwacheon City Startup Incubation Center, pitching opportunities at the second half of the year's Demo Day, and linking up with government projects.

Davida, lauréate du grand prix du concours d'idées de startups de la ville de Gwacheon 2025, volet Innovation
La ville de Gyeonggi Gwacheon a organisé le 11 le « 7e concours d'idées de startups » pour découvrir des entrepreneurs dotés de technologies innovantes et a sélectionné un total de 12 équipes comme excellents entrepreneurs.
Davida Co., Ltd. (PDG Eunseung Lee) a annoncé le 16 avoir remporté le « Grand Prix » dans la catégorie innovation pour les 3 à 7 ans avec sa plateforme d'apprentissage autodirigé basée sur l'IA « GeniTeacher ».
À travers le concours, le PDG Lee Eun-seung a partagé les prouesses technologiques et la vision mondiale de Davida. « Genie Teacher » est une solution éducative hybride (en ligne et hors ligne, analogique et numérique) qui numérise l'écriture manuscrite sur papier ou sur tablette, l'analyse en temps réel grâce à l'intelligence artificielle et fournit un retour personnalisé aux apprenants afin qu'ils puissent apprendre par eux-mêmes.
