친환경 바이오 항공유(Bio-SAF) 원료 개발 기업 ㈜그린다(대표 황규용)가 Pre-A 시리즈 투자를 유치했다고 밝혔다. 이번 라운드에 참여한 투자사는 AI엔젤클럽, 블루포인트파트너스, 오라클벤처투자를 비롯해, AI엔젤클럽과 씨엔티테크가 공동으로 결성한 ‘에이아이엔젤-씨엔티테크 개인투자조합 2호’, 씨엔티테크-DB드림빅 투자조합’ 등이며 5월 중 이번 라운드를 마감할 예정이다.
그린다는 폐기물로 취급되던 미활용 유지들을 바이오 항공유 원료 및 플라스틱 원료로 탈바꿈 시키는 기술을 개발해 주목을 받고 있다. 그린다의 독자적인 전용 공정으로 바이오 항공유(Bio-SAF) 원료로 생산하고, 이 과정에서 남겨지는 부산물마저 고부가가치 바이오 플라스틱 원료로 업사이클링 하는 방식이다. 이는 슬러지를 단순히 저급 연료나 사료화하는 기존 방식과 구별된다.
그린다는 충북 증평 본사를 중심으로 충청권, 전라권 등 전국 주요 지역에 수거 및 저장 거점을 확보하고 있으며. 또한 일본 현지 법인과의 협력을 통해 아시아 시장 진출도 본격화하며 해외 공급망을 단계적으로 확장할 계획이다.
AI엔젤클럽 최성호 회장은 “그린다는 음식물 쓰레기의 마지막까지 자원으로 순환시킨다는 비전을 가지고 사업 전개를 하고 있다”며 “기후위기 대응과 ESG 실천을 동시에 이뤄낼 수 있는 그린다의 기술은 앞으로도 더 많은 투자자와 파트너의 주목을 받을 것이다”고 평가했다.

Grinda Co., Ltd. (CEO Hwang Gyu-yong), an eco-friendly bio-aviation fuel (Bio-SAF) raw material development company, announced that it has attracted Pre-A series investment. Grinda is attracting attention by developing a technology that transforms unused oils that were treated as waste into bio-aviation fuel and plastic raw materials. Grinda produces bio-aviation fuel (Bio-SAF) raw materials through its own dedicated process, and even the byproducts left in the process are upcycled into high value-added bio-plastic raw materials. This is different from the existing method of simply converting sludge into low-grade fuel or feed.
Greenda is securing collection and storage bases in major regions across the country, including Chungcheong and Jeolla provinces, centered around its Chungbuk Jeungpyeong headquarters. In addition, it plans to expand its overseas supply chain in stages by entering the Asian market in earnest through cooperation with its local Japanese corporation.

環境にやさしいバイオ航空油(Bio-SAF)原料開発企業(株)グリーンダ(代表ファン・ギュヨン)がPre-Aシリーズ投資を誘致したと明らかにした。今回のラウンドに参加した投資会社は、AIエンジェルクラブ、ブルーポイントパートナーズ、オラクルベンチャー投資をはじめ、AIエンジェルクラブとシエンティテックが共同で結成した「エイアイエンジェル-シエンティテック個人投資組合2号」、シエンティテック-DBドリームビッグ投資組合」だ。
グリーンダは廃棄物として扱われた未活用油脂をバイオ航空油原料およびプラスチック原料に変える技術を開発して注目を集めている。グリーンダ独自の専用工程でバイオ航空油（Bio-SAF）原料として生産し、この過程で残される副産物さえ高付加価値のバイオプラスチック原料にアップサイクリングする方式だ。これは、汚泥を単に低級燃料や飼料化する従来の方式と区別される。
グリーンダは忠北（チョンブク）増平本社を中心に忠清圏、全羅圏など全国の主要地域に収集及び貯蔵拠点を確保している。また、日本現地法人との協力を通じてアジア市場への進出も本格化し、海外サプライチェーンを段階的に拡大する計画だ。
AIエンジェルクラブチェ・ソンホ会長は「グリーンは食品ゴミの最後まで資源に循環させるというビジョンを持って事業展開をしている」とし「気候危機対応とESG実践を同時に実現できるグリーンダの技術は今後もより多くの投資家とパートナーの注目を受けるだろう」と評価した。
