모나용평은 22일 모나용평 드래곤밸리 호텔에서 강원관광재단과 2025~2026년 강원방문의 해 연계 강원관광 활성화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약을 통해 모나용평과 강원관광재단은 강원 지역의 관광 자원 개발과 홍보에 협력하고, 모나용평 시설을 중심으로 특화된 관광 상품 개발과 공동 프로모션을 진행할 계획이다. 양 기관은 관광 데이터를 상호 공유하고, 친환경 기반의 지속 가능한 관광 사업 모델을 구축하여 지역 발전에 기여할 예정이다.
모나용평은 사계절 체류형 관광지로서의 강점을 살려 강원 관광의 매력을 널리 알릴 계획이다. 이를 위해 국내외 관광객을 위한 숙박, 레저, 문화 체험 등 맞춤형 관광 상품을 제공하고, 회사의 온라인 플랫폼과 채널을 통해 ‘강원방문의 해’를 적극적으로 홍보할 예정이다. 또한, 우수한 품질의 호텔 및 리조트 시설을 통해 강원 방문 만족도를 높일 계획이다.
강원관광재단은 전반적인 관광 캠페인을 기획하고, 국내외 관광객 및 MICE(마이스) 행사 유치를 위한 전략을 수립할 예정이다. 또한, 강원 지역의 관광 자원과 프로그램에 대한 캠페인 및 콘텐츠 개발을 지원할 계획이다.
