특수목적 차량 제조 전문기업 오텍이 군표준형 구급차 국책과제 수행을 통해 신규 모델을 개발했다고 25일 밝혔다.
오텍은 이번 국책과제 수행을 통해 총 2건의 특허와 1건의 디자인(의장) 출원을 완료했다. 개발된 군표준형 구급차는 오는 2026년부터 육군을 비롯한 전군에 걸쳐 점진적인 수요가 예정되어 있으며, 연간 약 230대의 상용 특수구급차 수요가 예상되고 있다. 이에 따라 오텍은 대량 생산 체계를 구축하고 본격적인 양산 준비에 나섰다.
또한, 해외시장 진출을 위해 수출용 모델 개발을 완료했으며, 국내 A사 특수사업부 및 종합상사와의 협업을 통해 글로벌 시장 공략도 병행할 계획이다.
이와 함께, 오텍은 전기차 기반의 복지차 개발을 위한 국책과제 수행기업으로 지난 2024년 7월 선정되었으며, 약 42개월간 총 20억 원 규모의 예산을 투입해 개발을 진행 중이다. 해당 복지차는 전기차 기반 플랫폼을 활용해 친환경성과 실용성을 동시에 확보하는 것이 목표다.
오텍은 복지차 관련 수요 확대를 위한 정책 제안도 병행하고 있다. 국회 보건복지위원회와의 협의를 통해 복지차 구매지원금 도입 방안을 논의 중이며, 이 제안이 추진될 경우 기존 장애인복지법에 따라 시행 중인 최대 500만 원 소비세 면제에 더해, 복지차 개조 비용에 대한 추가 지원이 가능해질 전망이다.
오텍그룹 관계자는 “군표준형 구급차와 전기차 기반 복지차의 국책과제 수행은 특수차량 솔루션 분야에서의 기술적 혁신을 의미한다”며 “사회적 책임 실현과 친환경 경영을 바탕으로 국내외 시장에서 경쟁력을 지속 강화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

It is discussing the introduction of welfare vehicle purchase subsidies through consultation with the National Assembly Health and Welfare Committee, and if this proposal is promoted, it is expected that additional support for welfare vehicle modification costs will be possible in addition to the consumption tax exemption of up to 5 million won currently in effect under the existing Welfare for the Disabled Act.

オテックは福祉車関連の需要拡大のための政策提案も並行している。国会保健福祉委員会との協議を通じて福祉車購買支援金導入方案を議論中であり、この提案が推進される場合、既存障害者福祉法により施行中の最大500万ウォン消費税免除に加え、福祉車改造費用に対する追加支援が可能となる見通しだ。
オテックグループ関係者は「軍標準型救急車と電気自動車基盤福祉車の国策課題遂行は特殊車両ソリューション分野での技術的革新を意味する」とし「社会的責任の実現と環境にやさしい経営を土台に国内外市場で競争力を持続強化していく」と明らかにした。

Otech réalise un projet national d'ambulance aux normes militaires
Otech, une société spécialisée dans la fabrication de véhicules à usage spécial, a annoncé le 25 avoir développé un nouveau modèle dans le cadre d'un projet national visant à développer une ambulance standard militaire.
Grâce à ce projet national, Otech a réalisé deux brevets et une demande de conception (design). L'ambulance militaire standard développée devrait être progressivement demandée dans toutes les branches militaires, y compris l'armée, à partir de 2026, et la demande annuelle d'environ 230 ambulances spéciales commerciales est attendue. Nous discutons actuellement de l'introduction d'une subvention à l'achat d'un véhicule social en consultation avec le Comité de la santé et du bien-être de l'Assemblée nationale, et si cette proposition est promue, il est prévu qu'un soutien supplémentaire pour les coûts de modification des véhicules sociaux sera possible en plus de l'exonération de la taxe à la consommation pouvant atteindre 5 millions de wons actuellement en vigueur en vertu de la loi sur le bien-être des personnes handicapées en vigueur.
