에듀테크 스타트업 ㈜다비다(대표 이은승)가 자사 인공지능 기반 맞춤형 학습 솔루션 ‘지니티처(GENITEACHER)’를 중심으로 중동 시장 공략을 본격화하고 있다. 다비다는 사우디아라비아, 바레인, UAE, 이집트 등 중동 핵심 4개국의 교육 기관 및 민간 파트너들과 협력 관계를 구축하고 올해 하반기부터 본격적인 현지 서비스 런칭 및 PoC(개념 검증)를 진행할 계획이라고 7일 밝혔다.
사우디아라비아에서는 현지 파트너 BAB社와 함께 지니티처 서비스를 올해 하반기에 정식 런칭하기 위한 준비에 착수했다. 지니티처는 GENICLASS, GENIPEN, 인공지능 학습 분석 기술이 통합된 하이브리드 솔루션으로 필기 기반 학습, AI 실시간 피드백을 결합해 학생 개별 맞춤 학습을 가능하게 한다.
바레인에서는 지난 4월 30일 교육부 관계자와의 미팅을 통해 지니티처에 대한 설명과 데모를 진행하였으며, 교육부 주도 하에 PoC를 시행하기로 합의하였다. 이는 바레인 내 공교육 시스템에 AI 기반 학습 지원 솔루션을 시범 도입하는 첫 사례가 될 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.
UAE에서는 현지 파트너인 KH社와 함께 UAE 교육부에 지니티처 솔루션을 소개하고, 향후 공립학교 및 스마트러닝 정책과 연계한 협력 방안을 모색 중이다.
다비다는 중동 내 디지털 교육 수요 확대와 정부의 교육 혁신 정책에 발맞춰, 각국에 최적화된 현지형 솔루션 제공을 통해 시장 진입 장벽을 낮추겠다는 전략이다.
이집트에서는 이집트 최대 출판사인 Nahdet社와 협력하여 교육 콘텐츠를 기반으로 지니티처 솔루션을 통합한 새로운 디지털 교육 사업을 공동 추진하기로 합의했다. 해당 출판사는 중동 및 아프리카 전역에 배급망을 갖춘 영향력 있는 기업으로, 이번 협력은 다비다의 북아프리카 시장 진출을 가속화하는 교두보가 될 전망이다.
이은승 다비다 대표는 “중동은 교육 분야의 블루오션으로 AI 기반 디지털 교육 전환 수요가 높아, 다비다는 현지 파트너들과 긴밀한 협업을 통해 실질적인 사업화로 이어지는 결과를 만들어가고 있다”며 “단순 기술 수출을 넘어, 각국의 교육 여건과 문화적 특성에 맞춘 현지화 전략으로 교육의 질을 높이고, 지속 가능한 글로벌 교육 생태계 구축에 기여할 것”이라고 말했다.
다비다는 올해 하반기부터 중동 4개국에서 지니티처 기반 시범사업 및 런칭을 본격화하고, 향후 아프리카 및 동남아시아까지 확장 가능한 글로벌 교육 협력 모델을 구축해 나갈 계획이다.

Davida, 4 Middle Eastern countries and 'Genie Teacher' EdTech cooperation begins in earnest
Edtech startup Davida (CEO Eunseung Lee) is starting to aggressively target the Middle Eastern market with its AI-based customized learning solution, ‘GENITEACHER.’ Davida announced on the 7th that it plans to establish cooperative relationships with educational institutions and private partners in four key Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, and Egypt, and launch a full-scale local service and conduct a PoC (proof of concept) in the second half of this year.
In Saudi Arabia, we have started preparations to officially launch the Genie Teacher service in the second half of this year with our local partner BAB. Genie Teacher is a hybrid solution that integrates GENICLASS, GENIPEN, and artificial intelligence learning analysis technologies, combining handwriting-based learning and AI real-time feedback to enable personalized learning for each student.
In Bahrain, on April 30, a meeting was held with officials from the Ministry of Education to explain and demonstrate GenieTeacher, and it was agreed to conduct a PoC under the leadership of the Ministry of Education. This is expected to be the first case of pilot introduction of an AI-based learning support solution in Bahrain’s public education system.
In the UAE, we are introducing the Genie Teacher solution to the UAE Ministry of Education together with our local partner, KH, and are exploring future cooperation plans in connection with public schools and smart learning policies.
Davida's strategy is to lower market entry barriers by providing localized solutions optimized for each country, in line with the growing demand for digital education in the Middle East and the government's education innovation policy.
In Egypt, we have agreed to work with Nahdet, the largest publisher in Egypt, to jointly launch a new digital education business based on educational content and integrated with GenieTeacher solutions. The publisher is an influential company with distribution networks throughout the Middle East and Africa, and this collaboration is expected to serve as a bridgehead to accelerate Davida’s entry into the North African market.
Eunseung Lee, CEO of Davida, said, “The Middle East is a blue ocean in the education sector, and there is a high demand for AI-based digital education conversion. Davida is working closely with local partners to create results that lead to actual commercialization.” He added, “Going beyond simple technology exports, we will improve the quality of education with localization strategies tailored to the educational conditions and cultural characteristics of each country, and contribute to building a sustainable global education ecosystem.”
Davida plans to launch and launch a full-scale pilot project based on Genie Teacher in four Middle Eastern countries starting in the second half of this year, and to build a global education cooperation model that can be expanded to Africa and Southeast Asia in the future.

サウジアラビアでは、現地パートナーBAB社と共にジニティチャーサービスを今年下半期に正式ローンチするための準備に着手した。ジニティチャーは、GENICLASS、GENIPEN、人工知能学習分析技術が統合されたハイブリッドソリューションで、手書きベースの学習、AIリアルタイムフィードバックを組み合わせて学生個別のカスタム学習を可能にする。
バーレーンでは去る4月30日、教育部関係者とのミーティングを通じてジニティチャーの説明とデモを進行し、教育部主導のもとにPoCを施行することに合意した。これはバーレーン内の公教育システムにAIベースの学習支援ソリューションをパイロット導入する最初の事例になると期待を集めている。
UAEでは、現地パートナーのKH社とともにUAE教育部にジニティチャーソリューションを紹介し、今後公立学校やスマートラーニング政策と連携した協力案を模索中だ。
ダビダは中東内のデジタル教育需要の拡大と政府の教育イノベーション政策に合わせて、各国に最適化された現地型ソリューション提供を通じて市場参入障壁を下げるという戦略だ。

教育科技初创公司Davida（代表：李恩承）携基于人工智能的定制学习解决方案“GENITEACHER”，开始积极进军中东市场。Davida 7日宣布，计划与沙特阿拉伯、巴林、阿联酋、埃及等四个中东重点国家的教育机构及民间伙伴建立合作关系，从今年下半年开始正式推出本地服务并开展PoC（概念验证）。

La coopération EdTech entre Davida, 4 pays du Moyen-Orient et « Genie Teacher » commence sérieusement
La startup Edtech Davida (PDG Eunseung Lee) commence à cibler agressivement le marché du Moyen-Orient avec sa solution d'apprentissage personnalisée basée sur l'intelligence artificielle, « GENITEACHER ». Davida a annoncé le 7 qu'elle prévoyait d'établir des relations de coopération avec des établissements d'enseignement et des partenaires privés dans quatre pays clés du Moyen-Orient, dont l'Arabie saoudite, Bahreïn, les Émirats arabes unis et l'Égypte, et de lancer un service local à grande échelle et de mener une PoC (preuve de concept) à partir du second semestre de cette année.
En Arabie saoudite, nous avons commencé les préparatifs pour lancer officiellement le service Genie Teacher au cours du second semestre de cette année en collaboration avec notre partenaire local BAB. Genie Teacher est une solution hybride qui intègre GENICLASS, GENIPEN et les technologies d'analyse de l'apprentissage par intelligence artificielle, combinant l'apprentissage basé sur l'écriture manuscrite et le retour d'information en temps réel de l'IA pour permettre un apprentissage personnalisé pour chaque élève.
À Bahreïn, le 30 avril, une réunion a eu lieu avec des responsables du ministère de l'Éducation pour expliquer et démontrer Genie Teacher, et il a été convenu de mettre en œuvre un PoC sous la direction du ministère de l'Éducation. Il s’agit probablement du premier cas d’introduction pilote d’une solution de soutien à l’apprentissage basée sur l’IA dans le système éducatif public de Bahreïn.
Aux Émirats arabes unis, nous présentons la solution Genie Teacher au ministère de l'Éducation des Émirats arabes unis en collaboration avec notre partenaire local, KH, et explorons de futurs plans de coopération en lien avec les écoles publiques et les politiques d'apprentissage intelligentes.

L'éditeur est une entreprise influente avec des réseaux de distribution à travers le Moyen-Orient et l'Afrique, et cette collaboration devrait servir de tête de pont pour accélérer l'entrée de Davida sur le marché nord-africain.
