비접촉 생체인증 기술 전문기업 위닝아이(대표 정우영)가 지난 4월 중소벤처기업부(이하 중기부)의 ‘초격차 스타트업1000+ 프로젝트’에 최종 선정됐다. 위닝아이는 기술력과 글로벌 시장성을 인정받으며 지난4월 23일부터 25일까지 싱가포르 마리나 베이 샌즈 엑스포에서 열린 아시아 최대 IT 전시회 ‘GITEX ASIA Singapore 2025’에 참가해 해외 무대에서 기술력을 입증했다.
‘초격차 스타트업 1000+’는 혁신 기술을 보유한 중소기업의 글로벌 도약을 지원하기 위한 중기부의 대표 스케일업 프로그램이다. 위닝아이는 ‘글로벌 표준 선도를 위한 레거시 지문DB 호환 기술(C2CL: Contact to Contactless)기반의 다중(지문·얼굴) 생체인증 고객확인(KYC-Know Your Customer)서비스 플랫폼 개발’ 과제로 이 사업에 최종 선정됐다. 세계 최초로 고해상도 스마트폰 카메라만으로도 사용자의 지문과 얼굴을 비접촉으로 동시에 인식할 수 있는 멀티모달 인증 기술이 핵심 기술이다.
이번 GITEX ASIA Singapore 2025에서 위닝아이는 ▲기기 일체형의 모바일 지문 인증 및 서명 검증 솔루션 ▲응급환자 신원 확인용 비접촉 생체인증 시스템 ▲글로벌 표준 선도를 위한 레거시 지문DB 호환 기술(C2CL: Contact to Contactless) 등 차별화된 기술을 선보였다. 특히 기존 접촉식 지문 데이터와 비접촉 지문 데이터간에 상호호환 인증하는 C2CL 기술은 금융권 KYC(Know Your Customer) 서비스에 즉시 적용할 수 있어 큰 관심을 받았다. 또한, 단 한 번의 인식으로 강화된 보안성과 편의성을 동시에 제공하는 ‘원샷, 듀얼 인증’ 기술을 제품화한 “F2shield AI”은 중동 및 아시아 주요 바이어들로부터 큰 주목을 받았다.
위닝아이 정우영 대표는 “당사의 비접촉 지문인증 기술은 미국 국립표준기술연구소 (NIST) 공식 인증기관인 아이베타(iBeta)의 국제 스푸핑 방지 테스트인 iBeta PAD 레벨 1 인증(을 획득하며 보안성을 인정받았으며, 지문 원본을 저장하지 않는 방식으로 개인정보 보호와 사용 편의성을 동시에 구현했다. “이번 초격차 스타트업 1000+ 프로젝트 선정과GITEX 참가를 계기로 UAE, 싱가포르, 말레이시아 등지에서의 파트너십 확대와 수출 계약 체결에 박차를 가할 것”이라고 밝혔다. 또한 “2026년까지 글로벌 생체인증 시장의 선도기업으로 자리매김하는 것을 목표로 기술 혁신을 지속하겠다”고 덧붙였다.
한편 위닝아이는 국내에서 우리금융그룹 DINNO Lab, 신한 퓨처스랩, KB금융그룹 KB스타터스 등 주요 금융권 혁신 프로그램에 선정된 바 있으며, 국내 금융권과 공공기관을 대상으로 KYC 서비스 플랫폼 관련 PoC 및 실증 사업을 활발히 진행 중이다. 또한 ISO 27001/27701/27017/27018/9001 인증을 보유하고 있으며, 2025년 하반기부터는 북미·유럽 시장 진출을 위한 협업도 본격화할 예정이다.

Winning Eye, selected as one of the '1000+ Super Gap Startups'
Winningi (CEO Wooyoung Jung), a contactless biometric authentication technology specialist, was finally selected for the 'Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project' by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (hereinafter referred to as the MSS) in April. Winningi was recognized for its technological prowess and global marketability, and demonstrated its technological prowess on the overseas stage by participating in 'GITEX ASIA Singapore 2025', Asia's largest IT exhibition held at the Marina Bay Sands Expo in Singapore from April 23 to 25.
'Super Gap Startup 1000+' is a representative scale-up program of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to support the global leap of small and medium-sized enterprises with innovative technologies. Winning Eye was finally selected for this project with the task of 'Development of a multi-biometric customer verification (KYC-Know Your Customer) service platform based on legacy fingerprint DB compatibility technology (C2CL: Contact to Contactless) for leading global standards'. The core technology is a multimodal authentication technology that can simultaneously recognize a user's fingerprint and face without contact using only a high-resolution smartphone camera for the first time in the world.
At this year’s GITEX ASIA Singapore 2025, WinningEye showcased differentiated technologies such as ▲ an all-in-one mobile fingerprint authentication and signature verification solution ▲ a non-contact biometric authentication system for emergency patient identification ▲ a legacy fingerprint DB compatibility technology (C2CL: Contact to Contactless) for leading global standards. In particular, the C2CL technology, which provides mutual authentication between existing contact-type fingerprint data and contactless fingerprint data, garnered much attention as it can be immediately applied to KYC (Know Your Customer) services in the financial sector. In addition, “F2shield AI,” a product of the “one-shot, dual authentication” technology that provides enhanced security and convenience with just one recognition, garnered much attention from major buyers in the Middle East and Asia.
Winningi CEO Wooyoung Jeong said, “Our non-contact fingerprint authentication technology has been recognized for its security by obtaining the iBeta PAD Level 1 certification, an international anti-spoofing test from iBeta, an official certification agency of the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and has implemented both personal information protection and convenience of use by not storing the original fingerprints. With this selection as an ultra-gap startup 1000+ project and participation in GITEX, we will accelerate the expansion of partnerships and export contracts in UAE, Singapore, and Malaysia.” He added, “We will continue technological innovation with the goal of establishing ourselves as a leading company in the global biometric authentication market by 2026.”
Meanwhile, Winning Eye has been selected for major financial innovation programs in Korea, including Woori Financial Group DINNO Lab, Shinhan Futures Lab, and KB Financial Group KB Starters, and is actively conducting PoC and verification projects related to KYC service platforms for domestic financial institutions and public institutions. It also holds ISO 27001/27701/27017/27018/9001 certifications, and plans to begin full-scale collaboration for entry into the North American and European markets from the second half of 2025.

Winning Eye (PDG Wooyoung Jeong) , spécialiste des technologies d'authentification biométrique sans contact, a finalement été sélectionné pour le « Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project » par le ministère des PME et des startups (ci-après dénommé MSS) en avril. Winning Eye, reconnu pour ses prouesses technologiques et sa commercialisation mondiale, a démontré ses prouesses technologiques sur la scène internationale en participant au « GITEX ASIA Singapore 2025 », le plus grand salon informatique d'Asie qui s'est tenu au Marina Bay Sands Expo à Singapour du 23 au 25 avril.
« Super Gap Startup 1000+ » est le programme de scale-up représentatif du ministère des PME et des startups pour soutenir le bond mondial des petites et moyennes entreprises avec des technologies innovantes. Winning Eye a finalement été sélectionné pour ce projet avec la tâche de « Développement d'une plate-forme de service de vérification client multi-biométrique (KYC-Know Your Customer) basée sur la technologie de compatibilité de base de données d'empreintes digitales héritée (C2CL : Contact to Contactless) pour les principales normes mondiales ». La technologie de base est une technologie d'authentification multimodale qui peut reconnaître simultanément et sans contact l'empreinte digitale et le visage d'un utilisateur en utilisant uniquement un appareil photo de smartphone haute résolution pour la première fois au monde.
Lors du salon GITEX ASIA Singapore 2025 de cette année, Winningi a présenté des technologies différenciées telles que ▲une solution d'authentification d'empreintes digitales et de vérification de signature intégrée à l'appareil ▲un système d'authentification biométrique sans contact pour l'identification des patients en urgence ▲une technologie de compatibilité avec les bases de données d'empreintes digitales héritées (C2CL : Contact to Contactless) pour les principales normes mondiales. Parallèlement, Winning Eye a été sélectionné pour des programmes majeurs d'innovation financière en Corée, notamment Woori Financial Group DINNO Lab, Shinhan Futures Lab et KB Financial Group KB Starters, et mène activement des projets de PoC et de vérification liés à sa plateforme de services KYC ciblant les institutions financières nationales et les institutions publiques. De plus, elle détient les certifications ISO 27001/27701/27017/27018/9001 et prévoit de commencer une collaboration à grande échelle pour entrer sur les marchés nord-américain et européen à partir du second semestre 2025.
