이차전지 전해액 전문기업 ㈜엔켐은 오는 15일부터 17일까지 중국 선전에서 개최되는 ‘CIBF 2025(China International Battery Fair)’에 참가한다고 14일 밝혔다. 이번 전시회에서 엔켐은 글로벌 공급망을 바탕으로 고객사 확대 및 파트너십 강화에 나선다는 계획이다.
CIBF는 전 세계 3,000개 이상의 기업과 40만 명 이상이 참석하는 세계 최대 규모의 이차전지 전문 박람회다. 급변하는 배터리 시장의 최신 기술과 산업 동향을 조망할 수 있는 행사로, 관련 업계의 주목을 받고 있다.
엔켐은 이번 전시를 통해 기존 주력 사업인 전해액 외에도 △리사이클링 NMP(R-NMP) △탄소나노튜브(CNT) 슬러리 △배터리 팩 등 신규 사업 분야를 포함한 통합 배터리 소재 솔루션을 선보일 예정이다. 특히 중국 전해액 시장에서 상위 10대 기업 중 유일한 외국계 기업으로서의 입지를 기반으로, 통합 케미컬 솔루션 기업으로의 전환 전략과 중장기 비전을 공개할 방침이다.
회사 측은 이번 전시를 계기로 전극 및 배터리 팩 등 신규 소재 분야로 사업 영역을 확대하고, 수직·수평적 성장 전략을 가속화할 계획이다.
엔켐 관계자는 “이번 CIBF 참가를 통해 엔켐은 전해액뿐 아니라 R-NMP, CNT 슬러리 등으로 포트폴리오를 확대하고, 이를 기반으로 글로벌 종합 케미컬 솔루션 기업으로의 위상을 강화할 것”이라고 밝혔다. 이어 “중국·북미·유럽에 걸친 생산 거점과 공급망을 통해 글로벌 고객사와의 접점을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 덧붙였다.
