인공지능(AI) 신뢰성 기술 전문 기업 씽크포비엘(이하 회사)이 중국의 주요 AI 관련 기관‧기업과 기술 교류 및 사업 협력에 나선다.
회사는 23, 24일 양일 동안 중국 상하이(上海)에서 열리는 ‘2025 AI+연구개발 디지털 서밋(AI+研发数字峰会, AI+Development Digital Summit)’에 행사 조직위원회 초청으로 참여해 회사의 ‘AI 신뢰성’ 관련 기술을 소개하고 중국의 유수 기관‧기업 관계자와 만나 교류한다고 15일 밝혔다.
행사는 ‘르네상스 상하이 푸퉈 호텔(上海明捷万丽酒店)’에서 열린다. 이 기간 AI 필드‧제품‧개발‧테스트‧엔지니어링 등 분야에 관련한 17개 주제를 놓고 중국을 비롯한 글로벌 전문가 71명이 각각 주제 발표한다. 이밖에 비공개회의와 AI 업계 글로벌 명사 참여 개방형 토크쇼 등도 열릴 예정이다. ‘챗GPT’, ‘딥시크’, ‘GenAI’ 등 생성형 AI 기술이 주요 주제로 다뤄진다.
회사는 둘째 날인 24일 오후 AI와 대형언어모델(LLM) 성능 평가 방법을 주제로 열리는 ‘LLM 평가’ 포럼에 참여한다. 이날 천선일 매니저는 ‘AI 견고성 평가 기술 및 사례 연구’라는 제목의 발표를 통해 최근 화두가 되는 LLM 안전을 어떻게 측정‧평가할 수 있는지에 관한 연구 방향 등을 소개한다.
회사는 또한 전시 부스를 설치하고, 행사장을 방문하는 중국과 글로벌 AI 전문가 1000여 명에게 AI 데이터 편향 분석과 신뢰성을 가르치는 자체 개발 ‘AI 튜터’ 기술을 시연한다. 아울러 조직위원회 주선으로 주요 AI 관련 기관 및 기업과 사업 협력을 모색하게 된다.
AI+연구개발 디지털 서밋은 대학(베이징대‧푸단대‧저장대‧퉁지대‧난징대 등)과 기관(중국정보통신기술원‧국가인지지능핵심연구소 등), 기업(마이크로소프트‧알리바바‧ZTE‧바이두‧화웨이‧텐센트 등)의 고위급 관계자가 모여 구성한 조직위원회가 2023년부터 열고 있다. 글로벌 정보통신기술(ICT) 기업이 협력‧후원하는 중국의 주요 AI 관련 행사로, 공신력과 영향력이 큰 것으로 알려졌다. 베이징‧심천(2023년), 상하이‧베이징‧선전(2024년)에 이어 이번에 상하이에서 여섯 번째로 열린다. 조직위원회는 올해 베이징(8월)과 선전(11월)에서 각각 한 차례씩 행사를 더 연다고 밝혔다.
회사가 중국의 AI 관련 중요 행사에 참석하게 된 것은 ‘펜데믹’이 수그러든 2023년 말부터 발 빠르게 양국 교류를 추진하고, ‘AI 신뢰성’ 기술을 중국으로 알렸기에 가능했다. 관련해 회사는 2024년 6월 저장대(浙江大)와 상하이소프트웨어산업협회 등을 잇달아 방문해 ‘신뢰할 수 있는 인공지능(Trustworthy AI)’ 기술 확산을 위한 아시아 연대 강화에 박차를 가했다. 또한 같은 해 12월에는 서울에서 열린 ‘TRAIN(신뢰할 수 있는 AI 국제연대) 세미나’ 세 번째 행사에 추샤오민(朱少民) 중국 퉁지대(同济大学) 교수를 초청했다. 추 교수는 AI+연구개발 디지털 서밋 핵심 창립자다.
당시 추 교수가 회사의 AI 신뢰성 기술 수준과 사업화 가능성을 높이 봤고, 첫 번째 결실로 이번에 상하이 행사에 회사가 초청받았다. 조직위원회는 이번 행사에서 세계적 이목이 쏠린 LLM에 초점을 맞춰 발표해 달라고 요청하는 등 AI 신뢰성 기술의 실용화 방안에 큰 관심을 보였다.
회사는 빠르게 중국을 협력 대상으로 판단하고, 적극적으로 교류를 모색한 결과가 나오기 시작하면서 AI 신뢰성 기술의 국제 협력과 발전이 가시화할 수 있게 됐다고 평가했다.
박지환 씽크포비엘 대표는 “중동의 소버린 AI 프로젝트조차 자국 주도 개발의 한계를 인정했고, 오픈AI 또한 각국 정부와 협력해 소버린 AI 모델을 공동 추진하는 흐름으로 전환되고 있다”며 “이미 딥시크나 큐웬 같은 해외 LLM이 국내 모델보다 더 정교한 한국어 운용 능력을 보이는 상황에서, 기술 주도권은 언어보다는 ‘사회적 가치 수용성과 AI 신뢰성’에 좌우될 것”이라고 말했다. 박 대표는 이어 “AI 신뢰성 분야에서 오랜 시간 쌓아온 회사 기술이 글로벌 무대에서 주목받을 수 있는 지금, 중국 측이 협력 의지를 보여준다면 회사도 이에 기꺼이 응답할 준비가 되어 있다”고 덧붙였다.

同社が中国のAI関連重要行事に出席することになったのは、「ペンデミック」が急いで2023年末から足早く両国交流を推進し、「AI信頼性」技術を中国に知らせたことで可能だった。関連して会社は2024年6月、浙江大と上海ソフトウェア産業協会などを相次いで訪問して「信頼できる人工知能（Trustworthy AI）」技術拡散のためのアジア連帯の強化に拍車をかけた。また、同年12月にはソウルで開かれた「TRAIN（信頼できるAI国際連帯）セミナー」の第3回のイベントに、チュ・シャオミン（朱少民）中国の扎大学教授を招待した。秋教授はAI+研究開発デジタルサミットの核心創設者だ。
当時、チュ教授が会社のAI信頼性技術水準と事業化の可能性を高め、最初の結実で今回上海行事に会社が招待された。組織委員会は今回のイベントで世界的注目が集まったLLMに焦点を当てて発表してほしいと要請するなど、AI信頼性技術の実用化案に大きな関心を示した。
同社は急速に中国を協力対象と判断し、積極的に交流を模索した結果が出始め、AI信頼性技術の国際協力と発展が可視化できるようになったと評価した。
パク・ジファンシンクポビエル代表は「中東のソバリンAIプロジェクトすら自国主導開発の限界を認め、オープンAIも各国政府と協力してソバリンAIモデルを共同推進する流れに転換されている」とし「すでにディープシークやキュウェンのような海外LLMが国内モデルよりも精巧な韓国言語ではなく、「社会的価値受容性とAI信頼性」に左右されるだろう」と話した。パク代表は引き続き「AI信頼性分野で長い時間積み重ねてきた会社技術がグローバル舞台で注目される今、中国側が協力意志を見せれば会社もこれに喜んで答える準備ができている」と付け加えた。

Le comité d'organisation a montré un grand intérêt pour les moyens pratiques de mettre en pratique la technologie de fiabilité de l'IA, par exemple en demandant à l'événement de se concentrer sur le LLM, qui a attiré l'attention mondiale.
L'entreprise a rapidement identifié la Chine comme partenaire de coopération et a commencé à rechercher activement des échanges. Par conséquent, la coopération internationale et le développement de la technologie de fiabilité de l'IA sont devenus visibles.
