㈜고스트패스가 중소벤처기업부가 주관하는 ‘초격차 스타트업 1000+’ 프로젝트에서 사이버보안·네트워크 분야 유망기업으로 선정됐다.
‘초격차 스타트업 1000+’는 기술 기반의 성장 잠재력이 높은 스타트업을 발굴해, 글로벌 시장에서의 경쟁력 확보를 지원하는 정부 주도의 프로젝트다. 고스트패스는 생체인증 기반 사이버보안 기술력을 바탕으로 선정됐다.
고스트패스는 2025년 CES에서 생체인증 기술로는 처음으로 핀테크 부문 최고혁신상(Best of Innovation)을 수상한 바 있으며, 이로써 2년 연속 CES 혁신상 수상 기업으로 기록됐다. 해당 기술은 사용자 생체정보를 중앙 서버가 아닌 개인 스마트폰에 저장해 인증하는 탈중앙화 온디바이스(On-device) 방식으로, 정보 유출 위험을 줄이고 글로벌 개인정보 보호 규제(GDPR 등)에도 효과적으로 대응할 수 있는 것이 특징이다.
이 기술을 기반으로 고스트패스는 출입 인증, 결제, 근태관리 등 다양한 솔루션을 개발했으며, 스마트도어락, 무인POS, 테이블오더 시스템 등 보안과 금융 분야의 실제 서비스에 적용하고 있다. 서버 기반 인증 방식 대비 유지비용이 낮고, 시스템 확장성이 높아 글로벌 시장에서도 경쟁력을 갖춘 것으로 평가받고 있다.
이번 선정에 따라 고스트패스는 향후 3년간 총 6억 원 규모의 사업화 자금과 함께 기술 고도화, 대기업과의 협력, 해외 진출 지원 등을 포함한 다양한 정책적 지원을 받게 된다.
한편, 고스트패스는 최근 카카오뱅크와의 협업 프로그램 ‘Finnect 이노베이션 스쿨’에도 선정되며, 금융 보안 분야로의 확장 가능성도 높이고 있다.

Ghostpass selected as one of the '1000+ Super Gap Startups'
Ghostpass Co., Ltd. was selected as a promising company in the cybersecurity and network field in the 'Super Gap Startup 1000+' project hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
'Super Gap Startup 1000+' is a government-led project that discovers startups with high technology-based growth potential and supports their competitiveness in the global market. Ghostpass was selected based on its biometric authentication-based cybersecurity technology.
GhostPass was the first biometric authentication technology to win the Best of Innovation Award in the Fintech category at CES 2025, making it the company to win the CES Innovation Award for two consecutive years. The technology is characterized by its decentralized on-device method that authenticates users’ biometric information by storing it on their personal smartphones instead of on a central server, reducing the risk of information leakage and effectively responding to global personal information protection regulations (such as GDPR).
Based on this technology, Ghostpass has developed various solutions for access authentication, payment, and attendance management, and is applying them to real services in the security and financial fields, such as smart door locks, unmanned POS, and table ordering systems. It is evaluated as being competitive in the global market due to its low maintenance costs and high system scalability compared to server-based authentication methods.
With this selection, GhostPass will receive a total of 600 million won in commercialization funds over the next three years, along with various policy support including technological advancement, cooperation with large corporations, and support for overseas expansion.
Meanwhile, GhostPass was recently selected for the 'Finnect Innovation School', a collaborative program with Kakao Bank, increasing the possibility of expansion into the financial security field.

Ghostpass Co., Ltd. a été sélectionnée comme entreprise prometteuse dans le domaine de la cybersécurité et des réseaux dans le cadre du projet « Super Gap Startup 1000+ » organisé par le ministère des PME et des startups.
« Super Gap Startup 1000+ » est un projet mené par le gouvernement qui découvre des startups à fort potentiel de croissance basé sur la technologie et soutient leur compétitivité sur le marché mondial. GhostPass a été sélectionné en raison de sa technologie de cybersécurité basée sur l’authentification biométrique.
GhostPass a été la première société d'authentification biométrique à remporter un prix Best of Innovation dans la catégorie Fintech au CES 2025, ce qui en fait le deuxième lauréat consécutif du prix CES Innovation. La technologie se caractérise par une méthode décentralisée sur l'appareil qui stocke et authentifie les informations biométriques des utilisateurs sur les smartphones personnels plutôt que sur un serveur central, réduisant ainsi le risque de fuite d'informations et répondant efficacement aux réglementations mondiales en matière de protection des informations personnelles (telles que le RGPD).
