반려동물 산업 관련 기업 펫박스가 정부 주관 산업-금융 협력형 지원사업인 ‘혁신 프리미어 1000’에 2025년 제1차 선정 기업으로 포함됐다고 16일 밝혔다.
‘혁신 프리미어 1000’은 금융위원회와 정책금융기관, 13개 관계 부처가 공동으로 추진하는 사업으로, 기술력과 성장 가능성이 높은 중소·중견기업을 선정해 정책금융과 비금융을 연계한 집중적인 지원을 제공하는 프로그램이다. 선정 기업은 대출금리 우대, 보증 비율 상향 등의 금융 지원뿐 아니라, 투자유치(IR), 해외 진출, 맞춤형 컨설팅, R&D 가점 등 다양한 정책적 혜택을 받게 된다.
이번 1차 발표에서는 총 509개 중소·중견기업이 최종 선정됐으며, 펫박스는 중소벤처기업부와 과학기술정보통신부의 추천을 통해 ‘반려동물 산업 혁신’ 분야에서 대표 기업으로 이름을 올렸다.
정부는 2026년부터 매년 1,000개 기업을 지속적으로 선정해 민간 투자와 글로벌 진출을 연계하는 종합 플랫폼으로 해당 프로그램을 확대 운영할 계획이다.
펫박스는 이번 선정을 통해 기술력과 시장 성장성을 인정받았으며, 향후 국내는 물론 글로벌 펫테크 시장에서도 경쟁력을 확보하겠다는 방침이다.
이현석 펫박스 대표는 “이번 선정은 자사의 기술 혁신성과 미래 가능성을 공식적으로 평가받은 것”이라며 “정부의 지원을 기반으로 해외 시장에서도 성과를 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Petbox selected as '2025 Innovation Premier 1000'
Petbox , a company related to the pet industry, announced on the 16th that it was included as the first company selected for 2025 in the 'Innovation Premier 1000', a government-led industry-finance cooperation support project.
'Innovation Premier 1000' is a project jointly promoted by the Financial Services Commission, policy finance institutions, and 13 related ministries. It is a program that selects small and medium-sized enterprises with high technological prowess and growth potential and provides intensive support by linking policy finance and non-financial services. Selected companies will receive various policy benefits such as preferential loan interest rates, increased guarantee ratios, and other financial support, as well as investment attraction (IR), overseas expansion, customized consulting, and R&D points.
In this first announcement, a total of 509 small and medium-sized enterprises were finally selected, and Petbox was named as a representative company in the ‘pet industry innovation’ field through recommendations from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Ministry of Science and ICT.
The government plans to expand the program into a comprehensive platform that links private investment and global expansion by continuously selecting 1,000 companies every year starting in 2026.
Through this selection, Petbox has been recognized for its technological prowess and market growth potential, and plans to secure competitiveness in the domestic as well as global pet tech markets in the future.

今回の1次発表では総509社の中小・中堅企業が最終選定され、ペットボックスは中小ベンチャー企業部と科学技術情報通信部の推薦を通じて「伴侶動物産業革新」分野で代表企業に名を連ねた。
政府は2026年から毎年1,000社を継続的に選定し、民間投資とグローバル進出を連携する総合プラットフォームとして該当プログラムを拡大運営する計画だ。
ペットボックスは今回の選定を通じて技術力と市場成長性を認められており、今後国内はもちろんグローバルペットテック市場でも競争力を確保するという方針だ。

本次首轮公布，最终共有509家中小企业入选，Petbox通过中小企业部和科学技术信息通信部推荐，被评为“宠物产业创新”领域的代表企业。
政府计划从2026年开始每年持续选拔1000家企业，将该计划扩展为一个连接私人投资和全球扩张的综合平台。
通过此次评选，Petbox的技术实力和市场增长潜力得到了认可，未来将在国内乃至全球宠物科技市场中保持竞争力。

Petbox , une entreprise liée à l'industrie des animaux de compagnie, a annoncé le 16 qu'elle était la première entreprise sélectionnée pour 2025 dans le « Innovation Premier 1000 », un projet de soutien à la coopération industrie-finance dirigé par le gouvernement.
« Innovation Premier 1000 » est un projet promu conjointement par la Commission des services financiers, les institutions financières politiques et 13 ministères concernés. Il s’agit d’un programme qui sélectionne les petites et moyennes entreprises dotées d’un haut niveau de maîtrise technologique et d’un fort potentiel de croissance et qui fournit un soutien intensif reliant le financement des politiques et le financement non financier. Les entreprises sélectionnées bénéficieront de divers avantages politiques tels qu'un soutien financier tel que des taux d'intérêt préférentiels sur les prêts et des ratios de garantie accrus, ainsi que l'attraction des investissements (IR), l'expansion à l'étranger, des conseils personnalisés et des points de R&D.
Lors de cette première annonce, un total de 509 petites et moyennes entreprises ont finalement été sélectionnées, et Petbox a été nommée comme entreprise représentative dans le domaine de « l'innovation dans l'industrie des animaux de compagnie » grâce aux recommandations du ministère des PME et des startups et du ministère des Sciences et des TIC.
Le gouvernement prévoit d’étendre le programme en une plateforme complète reliant l’investissement privé et l’expansion mondiale en sélectionnant en permanence 1 000 entreprises chaque année à partir de 2026.
Grâce à cette sélection, Petbox a été reconnue pour ses prouesses technologiques et son potentiel de croissance sur le marché, et prévoit de garantir sa compétitivité sur les marchés nationaux et mondiaux des technologies pour animaux de compagnie à l'avenir.
