모나용평은 서울 용산구에 위치한 자사 서울사무소에서 선문대학교 대학원, 산소발자국㈜, (사)국제명상요가협회와 함께 ‘웰니스산업 활성화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)’을 체결했다고 19일 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 민·관·학·연이 참여하는 협력 체계를 통해 국내 웰니스 산업의 전략적 발전과 생태계 고도화를 도모하기 위한 목적으로 마련됐다. 협약에 참여한 4개 기관은 공동 연구, 현장 중심의 인재 양성, 인증 프로그램 운영, 마케팅 협업 등 실질적이고 지속 가능한 협력을 추진할 계획이다.
협약식에는 각 기관 관계자들이 참석해 향후 웰니스 산업 관련 공동 과제 추진, 인턴십 연계 프로그램 개발, 웰니스 콘텐츠 품질 인증제도 마련 등 다양한 협력 방안을 논의했다.
모나용평 관계자는 “이번 협약은 단순한 파트너십을 넘어 ESG 경영 가치 실현과 산업 전반의 지속 가능성을 높이는 기반이 될 것”이라며, “자사의 웰니스 리조트 운영 경험과 브랜드 자산을 바탕으로 참여 기관과 함께 시장 내 경쟁력을 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
4개 기관은 향후 산학 펀드 조성, 공동 웰니스 프로그램 개발, 청년 인재 양성 확대 등 전방위적 협력을 통해 웰니스산업의 질적 성장에 기여한다는 방침이다. 특히, 환경친화적 요소를 접목한 웰니스 프로그램 운영과 청년 친화형 일자리 창출 등 ESG 요소를 강화해, 산업 내 신뢰도 제고와 공공사업 연계 경쟁력 확보에도 주력할 예정이다.
이번 협약을 통해 모나용평은 웰니스 리조트 브랜드로서의 정체성을 강화함과 동시에, 국내 웰니스 산업 생태계 발전에 기여할 수 있는 다양한 협력 모델을 실현해 나갈 계획이다.

Mona Yongpyeong announced on the 19th that it signed a 'Business Agreement (MOU) for Activation of the Wellness Industry' with Seonmoon University Graduate School, Oxygen Footprint Co., Ltd., and the International Meditation Yoga Association at its Seoul office located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
This agreement was created to promote the strategic development of the domestic wellness industry and the advancement of its ecosystem through a cooperative system involving the public, private, academic, and research sectors. The four institutions participating in the agreement plan to pursue practical and sustainable cooperation, including joint research, field-oriented talent development, certification program operation, and marketing collaboration.
Representatives from each organization attended the signing ceremony and discussed various cooperation plans, such as promoting joint projects related to the wellness industry in the future, developing internship-related programs, and establishing a wellness content quality certification system.
A Mona Yongpyeong official said, “This agreement goes beyond a simple partnership and will serve as a foundation for realizing ESG management values and enhancing sustainability across the industry,” adding, “Based on our experience in operating wellness resorts and our brand assets, we will work with the participating organizations to strengthen our competitiveness in the market.”
The four organizations plan to contribute to the qualitative growth of the wellness industry through comprehensive cooperation in the future, such as establishing an industry-academia fund, developing joint wellness programs, and expanding the training of young talents. In particular, they plan to focus on strengthening ESG elements, such as operating wellness programs that incorporate environmentally friendly elements and creating youth-friendly jobs, to enhance reliability within the industry and secure competitiveness in connection with public projects.
Through this agreement, Mona Yongpyeong plans to strengthen its identity as a wellness resort brand while also implementing various cooperation models that can contribute to the development of the domestic wellness industry ecosystem.

Mona Yongpyeong a annoncé le 19 avoir signé un « accord commercial (MOU) pour l'activation de l'industrie du bien-être » avec la Seonmoon University Graduate School, Oxygen Footprint Co., Ltd. et l'International Meditation Yoga Association dans son bureau de Séoul situé à Yongsan-gu, Séoul.

Des représentants de chaque organisation ont assisté à la cérémonie de signature et ont discuté de divers plans de coopération, tels que la promotion de projets communs liés à l'industrie du bien-être à l'avenir, le développement de programmes liés aux stages et l'établissement d'un système de certification de la qualité du contenu du bien-être.
