서울바이오허브 입주 기업 ‘온코마스터’가 아부다비 산업 포럼에서 면역항암제 반응 예측 기술을 공개하며 중동시장 공략을 본격화했다.
정밀의료 기업 온코마스터(OncoMASTER, 대표 장우영)가 5월 20일 아랍에미리트 아부다비 ADNEC 전시장에서 열린 ‘MAKE IT IN THE EMIRATES Forum 2025’에 참가해, AI 기반 면역항암제 반응 예측 기술 ‘OCM-002’를 선보였다.
이번 포럼은 아랍에미리트 산업첨단기술부(MOIAT)가 주관한 중동 최대 산업·혁신 행사로, 인공지능, 정밀의료, 첨단제조 등 차세대 기술을 보유한 글로벌 스타트업들이 한자리에 모이는 자리이다.
온코마스터는 NGS 유전체 기반 멀티오믹스와 임상 데이터를 통합 분석하는 AI 알고리즘 ‘OCM-002’를 소개했다. 이 기술은 치료 전 환자의 면역항암제 반응 가능성을 사전에 예측해, 현재 약 30% 수준에 머무는 낮은 반응률 한계를 극복할 수 있는 정밀의료 해법으로 주목받았다.
온코마스터는 이번 발표를 시작으로 중동 지역 병원 및 의료기관과의 협력을 추진할 계획이다. 임상 검증과 상용화를 위한 공동 연구를 통해 현지 환자 맞춤형 치료 전략 구축에 나선다. 장우영 대표는 “면역항암제는 획기적인 치료제임에도 불구하고 많은 환자들이 실질적인 효과를 보지 못하고 있다”며 “온코마스터는 AI 기술을 통해 환자별 최적 치료 전략을 제시함으로써, 중동 지역의 정밀 의료 혁신에 기여할 수 있을 것”이라고 밝혔다.
온코마스터는 면역항암제 외에도 항암화학요법 반응 예측 모델을 개발 중이다. 이를 바탕으로 임상의사결정지원시스템(CDSS) 개발, 바이오마커 발굴, 글로벌 제약사 공동 연구 등으로 사업을 확대하고 있다. 지난 4월에는 중소벤처기업부 ‘초격차 스타트업 1000+’에 선정돼 국가 전략 기술로서의 AI 정밀의료 솔루션 고도화에 고도화에 속도를 내고 있다.
이 같은 성장은 ‘서울바이오허브’의 실질적인 지원에도 힘입은 결과다. 입주 기간 동안 회의실, 라운지 등 다양한 시설을 활용해 전략 수립, 문서 작업, 해외 진출 준비를 체계적으로 진행할 수 있었다. 온코마스터는 앞으로도 AI 정밀의료 분야에서 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖춘 기업으로 성장해 나갈 계획이다.

Seoul Bio Hub's resident company 'Oncomaster' has begun to advance into the Middle Eastern market by revealing its immune anticancer drug response prediction technology at the Abu Dhabi Industry Forum.
Precision medicine company OncoMASTER (CEO Wooyoung Jang) participated in the 'MAKE IT IN THE EMIRATES Forum 2025' held at the ADNEC exhibition center in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on May 20th and introduced 'OCM-002', an AI-based immune anticancer drug response prediction technology.
This forum is the largest industry and innovation event in the Middle East, hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT) of the United Arab Emirates, and is a place where global startups with next-generation technologies such as artificial intelligence, precision medicine, and advanced manufacturing gather together.
Oncomaster introduced 'OCM-002', an AI algorithm that integrates and analyzes NGS genome-based multi-omics and clinical data. This technology has garnered attention as a precision medicine solution that can overcome the current low response rate limit of approximately 30% by predicting the possibility of a patient's response to immunotherapy before treatment.
Starting with this announcement, OncoMaster plans to pursue collaboration with hospitals and medical institutions in the Middle East. Through joint research for clinical verification and commercialization, it will proceed with establishing a treatment strategy tailored to local patients. CEO Jang Woo-young said, “Although immunotherapy is a groundbreaking treatment, many patients are not seeing actual effects,” and “OncoMaster will be able to contribute to the innovation of precision medicine in the Middle East by suggesting the optimal treatment strategy for each patient through AI technology.”
In addition to immunotherapy, Oncomaster is also developing a model for predicting anticancer chemotherapy responses. Based on this, the company is expanding its business to developing a clinical decision support system (CDSS), discovering biomarkers, and conducting joint research with global pharmaceutical companies. In April, it was selected as one of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ “Super Gap Startup 1000+,” and is accelerating the advancement of AI precision medicine solutions as a national strategic technology.
This growth is also the result of the practical support of the 'Seoul Bio Hub'. During the period of residence, we were able to systematically proceed with strategy formulation, document work, and overseas expansion preparation by utilizing various facilities such as conference rooms and lounges. Oncomaster plans to continue to grow into a globally competitive company in the field of AI precision medicine.

La société résidente de Seoul Bio Hub, « Oncomaster », a commencé à progresser sur le marché du Moyen-Orient en dévoilant sa technologie de prédiction de la réponse immunitaire aux médicaments anticancéreux lors du Forum industriel d'Abou Dhabi.
La société de médecine de précision OncoMASTER (PDG Wooyoung Jang) a participé au « MAKE IT IN THE EMIRATES Forum 2025 » qui s'est tenu au centre d'exposition ADNEC à Abu Dhabi, aux Émirats arabes unis, le 20 mai et a présenté « OCM-002 », une technologie de prédiction de la réponse immunitaire aux médicaments anticancéreux basée sur l'IA.
Ce forum est le plus grand événement industriel et d'innovation au Moyen-Orient, organisé par le ministère de l'Industrie et des Technologies avancées (MOIAT) des Émirats arabes unis, et est un lieu où se réunissent les startups mondiales dotées de technologies de nouvelle génération telles que l'intelligence artificielle, la médecine de précision et la fabrication de pointe.
Oncomaster a présenté « OCM-002 », un algorithme d'IA qui intègre l'analyse des données multi-omiques et cliniques basées sur le génome NGS. En avril dernier, elle a été sélectionnée comme l'une des « 1000+ Ultra-Gap Startups » par le ministère des PME et des Startups, et accélère l'avancement des solutions médicales de précision de l'IA en tant que technologie stratégique nationale.
Cette croissance est également le résultat du soutien pratique du « Seoul Bio Hub ». Pendant la période d'emménagement, nous avons pu utiliser diverses installations telles que des salles de conférence et des salons pour développer systématiquement des stratégies, travailler sur des documents et préparer l'expansion à l'étranger.
