AI·클라우드 선도 기업 메가존클라우드(대표 염동훈)가 최근 도쿄 빅사이트에서 열린 아시아 스타트업 컨퍼런스 ‘SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025’에 참가해 ‘Outstanding Ambassador’로 선정됐다.
SusHi Tech Tokyo는 ‘지속 가능한 첨단 도시 도쿄(Sustainable High City Tokyo)’의 약어로, 지속 가능한 미래 기술과 도시 혁신을 주제로 한 글로벌 기술 컨퍼런스다. ‘SusHi Tech 2025’에는 80개국 320개 도시에서 450여개 스타트업과 600여개 투자사가 참여했다.
메가존클라우드는 이 행사에서 단순한 참여사 수준에 머무르지 않고 앰배서더로서의 역할을 성실히 수행한 결과 전 세계 303개 공식 앰배서더 기업 중 유일하게 ‘Outstanding Ambassador’로 선정됐다.
메가존클라우드는 사전 신청을 통해 일본 진출에 관심 있는 국내 스타트업을 모집했으며 이 가운데 뉴인, 파이온코퍼레이션, 올거나이즈 등 3개 스타트업에 무료 부스를 제공하고 부스 운영 전반을 적극 지원했다. 메가존클라우드는 특히 행사에 앞서 다양한 사전 프로그램과 네트워킹 파티를 직접 주최하며 국내 스타트업이 일본 시장을 이해하고 현지 관계자들과 연결될 수 있도록 지원했다.
이외에도 메가존클라우드는 네트워킹 행사 ‘SusHi Tech – Hyper Night’을 개최해 국내 참가 기업과 일본 현지 VC(Venture Capital), AC(Accelerator), 대기업 및 스타트업 관계자들이 현지 시장 진출에 관한 인사이트를 공유할 수 있는 기회도 제공했다. 이 행사에는 한국 및 일본 내 스타트업 에코시스템 관계자 총 101명이 참석했으며, 한국에서는 스타트업 45개사와 협회 및 기관 14개 사가 참여했다.
메가존클라우드 김도형 Emerging Business Unit 유닛장은 “국내 기업들이 일본을 포함한 글로벌 시장에서 새로운 기회를 모색할 수 있도록 실질적인 접점을 마련하는데 초점을 맞췄다”며 “일본 내 클라우드 인프라 지원을 포함한 현지화 사업 지원 등 앞으로도 지속 가능한 디지털 전환과 글로벌 협력을 강화할 계획”이라고 말했다.

MegaZone Cloud Selected as 'Outstanding Ambassador' at Startup Conference
MegaZone Cloud (CEO Dong-Hoon Yeom) , a leading AI and cloud company, recently participated in the Asian startup conference 'SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025' held at Tokyo Big Sight and was selected as an 'Outstanding Ambassador.'
SusHi Tech Tokyo is an abbreviation for 'Sustainable High City Tokyo', and is a global technology conference on sustainable future technology and urban innovation. 'SusHi Tech 2025' was attended by 450 startups and 600 investment companies from 320 cities in 80 countries.
MegaZone Cloud did not remain a simple participant in this event, but faithfully fulfilled its role as an ambassador, and was selected as the only 'Outstanding Ambassador' among 303 official ambassador companies around the world.
Megazone Cloud recruited domestic startups interested in entering the Japanese market through pre-registration, and among them, provided free booths to three startups, including Newin, Pion Corporation, and Allganize, and actively supported the overall booth operation. In particular, Megazone Cloud hosted various pre-event programs and networking parties directly before the event, and supported domestic startups to understand the Japanese market and connect with local officials.
In addition, MegaZone Cloud hosted a networking event called 'SusHi Tech – Hyper Night', providing an opportunity for domestic participating companies and local Japanese VCs (Venture Capital), ACs (Accelerators), large corporations, and startups to share insights on entering the local market. A total of 101 people from the startup ecosystem in Korea and Japan attended the event, with 45 startups and 14 associations and organizations from Korea participating.
