‘인프런(Inflearn)’을 운영하는 인프랩이 중소벤처기업부 주관 ‘2025 글로벌 유니콘 프로젝트’에서 ‘아기유니콘’ 기업으로 최종 선정됐다.
‘글로벌 유니콘 프로젝트’는 혁신적인 기술력과 성장 잠재력을 보유한 스타트업을 발굴하여, 기업가치 1,000억 원 이상의 예비 유니콘으로 육성하는 사업이다. 아기유니콘으로 선정된 기업은 시장개척자금(최대 3억원)과 기술보증기금의 특별보증(최대 50억원)이 지원되며, 올해부터 ‘성과연동 보증제도’를 도입해 선정기업이 ‘후속 투자, 매출’ 등에서 일정 성과를 달성하면 별도 심사 없이 추가로 보증을 지원한다. 스케일업에 필요한 자금을 공급할 예정이다.
인프랩은 실무 중심의 온라인 교육 플랫폼 ‘인프런(Inflearn)’을 운영하며, IT·디자인·마케팅·비즈니스 등 다양한 분야의 고품질 강의를 제공하고 있는 기업이다.
최근 인프랩은 AI 기술을 기반으로 한 자막 생성, 번역, 더빙 통합 시스템을 개발하여, 자사의 교육 콘텐츠를 다국어로 자동 변환하고 글로벌 시장에 빠르게 공급할 수 있는 기술적 기반을 마련하였다. 이 기술은 기존 교육 콘텐츠를 자동으로 자막화하고 번역·더빙하여, 누구나 다양한 언어로 학습할 수 있게 만드는 AI 시스템으로, 이를 통해 기존 강의를 영어, 일본어, 베트남어 등 다양한 언어로 현지화할 수 있다.
한편 인프랩은 이번 아기유니콘 선정을 계기로, AI 기반 교육 콘텐츠의 글로벌화를 더욱 가속화할 계획이다.
