부산창조경제혁신센터(대표이사 김용우, 이하 부산창경)는 PIER71, 부산기술창업투자원과 함께 ‘Smart Port Challenge 설명회’를 오는 6월 23일 오후 2시 30분부터 부산 워케이션 거점센터에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.
‘Smart Port Challenge’는 2018년부터 싱가포르에서 진행되는 글로벌 해양기술 혁신 프로그램으로, 해운업계의 과제를 해결할 수 있는 기술 기반 스타트업을 모집한다. 이 프로그램은 10주 동안 온·오프라인으로 진행된다. 참가 기업은 마스터클래스(해당 분야 전문가 강의), 워크숍, 멘토링, 네트워킹 기회 등을 제공받으며, 최종 결승전을 통해 수상의 기회도 얻게 된다.
주요 초점 분야는 해양 녹색 기술, 차세대 항만, 스마트 해운, 디지털화(AI, 클라우드, 사이버 보안) 등이다.
이번 설명회에서는 PIER71 담당자가 프로그램에 대해 직접 소개할 예정이며, 해당 프로그램을 수료한 기업들의 경험담도 함께 들을 수 있다.
싱가포르 진출 및 챌린지에 관심 있는 스타트업과 생태계 참여자 누구나 참여 가능하며, 부산창경 홈페이지를 통해 사전 신청이 가능하다.
2022년 Smart Port Challenge 준결승에 진출했던 해상물류 ESG 전문기업 ‘마리나체인’의 하성엽 대표는 “Smart Port Challenge는 해양산업에 적용할 수 있는 기술분야를 폭넓게 수용하고 있어서 다양한 기업들이 참여할 수 있는 기회가 될 것”이라며, “챌린지를 통해 해양 기업의 주요 인사들에게 아이디어를 신속하게 검증을 받을 수 있었고, 멘토링과 정보를 통해 기업 성장에 많은 도움이 되었다”고 말했다.
또한 부산창경 김용우 대표이사는 “부산에서 Smart Port Challenge 설명회를 개최하는 것은 부산이 해양산업의 글로벌 허브로 성장하는데 중요한 협력이 될 것”이라며 “이번 로드쇼를 통해 싱가포르 진출에 관심 있는 많은 스타트업들이 유용한 정보를 얻어가길 바란다”고 말했다.
한편 해당 설명회는 부산(6월 23일), 서울(6월 26일)에서 총 2번 개최할 예정이다.

Busan Changgyeong, 'Smart Port Challenge Briefing Session' Held "Providing Opportunities for Singapore to Enter the Maritime Market"
Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Yongwoo Kim, hereinafter referred to as Busan Creative Economy) announced that it will hold a 'Smart Port Challenge Briefing Session' with PIER71 and Busan Technology Startup Investment Center at 2:30 PM on June 23rd at the Busan Workation Center.
The 'Smart Port Challenge' is a global marine technology innovation program that has been held in Singapore since 2018, recruiting technology-based startups that can solve challenges in the shipping industry. The program is held online and offline for 10 weeks. Participating companies are provided with master classes (lectures by experts in the field), workshops, mentoring, networking opportunities, and a chance to win through the finals.
Key focus areas include maritime green technology, next-generation ports, smart shipping, and digitalization (AI, cloud, cybersecurity).
At this briefing session, PIER71 staff will personally introduce the program, and you will also hear about the experiences of companies that have completed the program.
Any startup or ecosystem participant interested in entering Singapore and taking on the challenge can participate, and pre-registration is available through the Busan Changgyeong website.
“The Smart Port Challenge will be an opportunity for various companies to participate because it widely embraces technologies that can be applied to the marine industry,” said Ha Seong-yeop, CEO of Marina Chain, a marine logistics ESG company that advanced to the semi-finals of the 2022 Smart Port Challenge. “Through the challenge, we were able to quickly get our ideas verified by key figures in marine companies, and the mentoring and information provided a great help in our company’s growth.”
In addition, Busan Changgyeong CEO Yongwoo Kim said, “Hosting the Smart Port Challenge briefing session in Busan will be an important cooperation for Busan to grow into a global hub for the marine industry,” and “I hope that many startups interested in advancing into Singapore will gain useful information through this roadshow.”
Meanwhile, the briefing session will be held twice in total, in Busan (June 23) and Seoul (June 26).

2022年Smart Port Challenge準決勝に進出した海上物流ESG専門企業「マリーナチェーン」のハ・ソンヨプ代表は「Smart Port Challengeは海洋産業に適用できる技術分野を幅広く受け入れており、多様な企業が参加できる機会になるだろう」とし、「チャレンジを受けて企業をそして、メンタリングと情報を通じて企業の成長に多くの役に立った」と述べた。
また釜山昌慶キム・ヨンウ代表理事は「釜山でSmart Port Challenge説明会を開催することは釜山が海洋産業のグローバルハブに成長する上で重要な協力になるだろう」とし「今回のロードショーを通じてシンガポール進出に関心のある多くのスタートアップが有用な情報を得てほしい」と話した。
一方、該当説明会は釜山（6月23日）、ソウル（6月26日）で計2回開催する予定だ。

“智慧港口挑战赛”是一项全球海事技术创新计划，自2018年起在新加坡举行，旨在招募能够解决航运业挑战的技术型初创企业。该项目将以线上线下相结合的方式进行，为期10周。参与的公司将获得大师班（各自领域专家的讲座）、研讨会、指导、交流机会以及通过决赛赢得奖品的机会。

Le « Smart Port Challenge » est un programme mondial d'innovation technologique maritime qui se déroule à Singapour depuis 2018 et qui recrute des startups technologiques capables de résoudre les défis du secteur du transport maritime.
