딥스톤인베스트먼트(대표 김규완, 임병을)는 지난 28일 서울창업허브(공덕)에서 개최한 스타트업 데모데이 ‘데이파이브(Day 5)’를 성공적으로 진행하여 우수기업 2개사를 선정했다고 밝혔다.
딥스톤인베스트먼트가 ㈜테레오와 공동으로 개최한 이 데모데이는 ‘50억 미만 기업가치의 스타트업이 500억 이상의 기업가치로 성장할 수 있도록 지원’하는 것을 목표로, 우수기업으로서 선정된 기업에 투자 및 성장지원 등을 제공하는 프로그램이다.
지난 3월 다양한 분야의 20여개 기업이 지원하며, 많은 관심을 받은 본 데모데이는 서류평가와 대표자 인터뷰 등을 거쳐 최종 5개 기업(신성바이오팜, 메디프로젠, 한국메디코스, 애슬리테크, 프롬유코리아)을 선발하였으며, 여러 단계를 거쳐 피칭의 기회를 얻은 기업들은 열정적으로 투자자들 앞에서 투자제안 발표를 하였다.
투자자로는 딥스톤인베스트먼트를 비롯하여 농업정책보험금융원, TKG벤처스, 코맥스벤처러스, 킥스타트인베스트먼트, 킹고스프링 등 6개 기관에서 대표자 혹은 심사역이 참석하여 투자검토 및 심사를 진행해 우수기업을 선정하였다.
이외에도 참관인으로 다수의 투자자들이 참석하여 “데이 파이브” 프로그램과 피칭 기업들에 관심을 갖고 투자 검토 의향을 밝히기도 하며 높은 기대감을 보였다.
한편 딥스톤인베스트먼트는 우수기업 중 실사를 거쳐 1~2곳에 투자를 집행할 예정이며, 참석한 다른 투자자들도 자체적으로 투자검토를 통해 투자여부를 결정키로 하였다.
임병을 딥스톤인베스트먼트 대표는 “경기 불확실성이 높은 상황에도 글로벌 사업 확장성이 기대되는 기업들이 투자자들에게 많은 관심을 받았으며, 하반기 중 잠재력 있는 기업에 투자하여 성장을 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Deep Stone Investment Selects 2 Outstanding Companies at Demo Day 'Day Five'
Deep Stone Investment (CEO Kim Gyu-wan, Lim Byeong-eul) announced that it successfully held the startup demo day 'Day 5' held at Seoul Startup Hub (Gongdeok) on the 28th and selected two excellent companies.
This demo day, held jointly by Deep Stone Investment and Tereo Co., Ltd., is a program that provides investment and growth support to companies selected as excellent companies with the goal of ‘supporting startups with a corporate value of less than KRW 5 billion to grow to a corporate value of KRW 50 billion or more.’
This demo day, which received much attention with the support of around 20 companies from various fields in March, selected the final 5 companies (Shin Sung Biopharm, Mediprogen, Korea Medicos, Athletic Tech, and From You Korea) through document evaluation and representative interviews. The companies that were given the opportunity to pitch through several stages passionately presented their investment proposals in front of investors.
Representatives or judges from six institutions, including Deep Stone Investment, Agricultural Policy Insurance Finance Institute, TKG Ventures, Commax Ventures, Kickstart Investment, and Kingospring, attended the investment review and evaluation to select excellent companies.
In addition, many investors attended as observers and showed high expectations by expressing interest in the “Day Five” program and the pitching companies and expressing their intention to consider investing.
Meanwhile, Deep Stone Investment plans to invest in 1-2 excellent companies after due diligence, and other investors in attendance have also decided to conduct their own investment reviews and decide whether or not to invest.
Lim Byeong-eul, CEO of Deep Stone Investment, said, “Even in a situation of high economic uncertainty, companies with potential for global business expansion received a lot of attention from investors, and we will invest in potential companies in the second half of the year to support their growth.”

投資家としては、ディープストーンインベストメントをはじめ、農業政策保険金融院、TKGベンチャーズ、コマックスベンチャーラス、キックスタートインベストメント、キングゴスプリングなど6機関から代表者または審査役が出席し、投資レビューおよび審査を進めて優秀企業を選定した。
他にも参観人として多数の投資家が参加し、「デイファイブ」プログラムとピッチング企業に関心を持って投資検討意向を明らかにしたり、高い期待感を見せた。
一方、ディープストン・インベストメントは優秀企業のうち実写を経て1～2カ所に投資を執行する予定であり、参加した他の投資家も自ら投資検討を通じて投資の可否を決定することにした。

Deep Stone Investment (PDG Kim Gyu-wan, Lim Byeong-eul) a annoncé avoir organisé avec succès la journée de démonstration de startups « Jour 5 » qui s'est tenue au Seoul Startup Hub (Gongdeok) le 28 et a sélectionné deux excellentes entreprises.
Cette journée de démonstration, organisée conjointement par Deep Stone Investment et Tereo Co., Ltd., est un programme qui fournit un soutien à l'investissement et à la croissance aux entreprises sélectionnées comme excellentes dans le but de « soutenir les startups d'une valeur d'entreprise inférieure à 5 milliards de KRW pour atteindre une valeur d'entreprise de 50 milliards de KRW ou plus ».
Cette journée de démonstration, qui a reçu beaucoup d'attention avec le soutien d'une vingtaine d'entreprises de divers domaines en mars, a sélectionné les 5 entreprises finales (Shin Sung Biopharm, Mediprogen, Korea Medicos, Athletic Tech et From You Korea) grâce à une évaluation de documents et à des entretiens représentatifs. Les entreprises qui ont eu l’opportunité de présenter leurs propositions d’investissement à travers plusieurs étapes ont présenté avec passion leurs propositions d’investissement devant les investisseurs.
Des représentants ou juges de six institutions, dont Deep Stone Investment, Agricultural Policy Insurance Finance Institute, TKG Ventures, Commax Ventures, Kickstart Investment et Kingospring, ont assisté à l'examen et à l'évaluation des investissements pour sélectionner d'excellentes entreprises.
De plus, de nombreux investisseurs ont assisté en tant qu’observateurs et ont montré de grandes attentes en exprimant leur intérêt pour le programme « Day Five » et les entreprises qui présentaient la présentation et en exprimant leur intention d’envisager d’investir.
Entre-temps, Deep Stone Investment prévoit d'investir dans 1 à 2 excellentes entreprises après une vérification diligente, et d'autres investisseurs présents ont également décidé de mener leurs propres examens d'investissement et de décider d'investir ou non.
