제주창조경제혁신센터(이하 제주센터)는 디지털 헬스케어 스타트업 인드림헬스케어가 라이나전성기재단이 주관한 제8회 ‘라이나50+어워즈’에서 창의혁신 부문 2위에 선정됐다고 29일 밝혔다.
‘라이나50+어워즈’는 50세 이상 중장년층의 삶의 질 향상과 건강한 사회적 가치 창출에 기여한 개인 및 단체를 발굴해 시상하는 프로그램으로, 올해 8회를 맞이했다.
인드림헬스케어는 고령층의 약물 안전 문제 해결을 목표로, 다제약물 복용 환자의 약물 간 상호작용 및 부작용을 분석하고 관리할 수 있는 솔루션 ‘인드림 메디서포트’를 개발한 공로를 인정받았다. 해당 솔루션은 지난 4월부터 제주대학교병원에서 도입돼, 실제 고령 환자 진료 현장에서 활용되고 있다.
특히 이번 수상은 한국이 2023년 말 기준 65세 이상 인구 비율이 20%를 넘어 ‘초고령사회’에 진입한 시점과 맞물려 그 의미가 더 크다는 평가다. 고령자들의 다제약물 복용은 입원율과 사망 위험 증가로 이어질 수 있는 주요 요인으로, 의료 현장에서 중요한 과제로 떠오르고 있다.
국민건강보험공단 자료에 따르면, 10개 이상의 약물을 60일 이상 복용하는 만성질환자는 2019년 84만 명에서 2023년 128만8천 명으로 5년간 약 53% 증가했다. 또, 2015~2016년 국가건강검진을 받은 66세 성인 약 65만 명을 대상으로 한 추적 조사에서는, 부적절한 약물 복용군이 사망 위험은 25%, 장애 발생 위험은 46% 높은 것으로 나타났다.
이와 같은 배경에서 인드림헬스케어의 기술은 고령층 환자들의 약물 안전사고를 사전에 예방하는 데 기여할 수 있는 실용적 해법으로 주목받고 있다. ‘인드림 메디서포트’는 광학문자인식(OCR) 기술을 활용해 다양한 전자의무기록(EMR) 시스템과의 호환성을 확보했으며, 의료진이 환자의 복용약물 정보를 실시간으로 분석하고 안전한 처방을 내릴 수 있도록 돕는다.

Indream Healthcare was recognized for developing 'Indream Medisupport', a solution that analyzes and manages drug interactions and side effects for patients taking multiple medications, with the goal of solving drug safety issues for the elderly. The solution was introduced at Jeju National University Hospital in April and is currently being used in actual elderly patient treatment settings.
In particular, this award is evaluated as having greater significance as it coincides with Korea entering a 'super-aging society' with the proportion of the population aged 65 and over exceeding 20% by the end of 2023. The use of multiple medications by the elderly is a major factor that can lead to increased hospitalization rates and mortality risk, and is emerging as an important issue in the medical field.
According to data from the National Health Insurance Corporation, the number of chronic disease patients taking more than 10 medications for more than 60 days increased by about 53% over five years, from 840,000 in 2019 to 1.288 million in 2023. In addition, a follow-up survey of about 650,000 adults aged 66 who underwent national health checkups in 2015 and 2016 showed that those taking inappropriate medications had a 25% higher risk of death and a 46% higher risk of disability.
Against this backdrop, Indream Healthcare's technology is gaining attention as a practical solution that can contribute to preventing drug safety accidents in elderly patients in advance. 'Indream Medisupport' has secured compatibility with various electronic medical record (EMR) systems by utilizing optical character recognition (OCR) technology, and helps medical staff analyze patients' medication information in real time and prescribe safe prescriptions.
“Indream MediSupport is a tool that increases the efficiency of medical staff’s treatment while strengthening patients’ drug safety,” said Kang Byung-joo, CEO of Indream Healthcare. “The problem of polypharmacy is an issue that requires a national solution in an aging society, and we hope that our technology can contribute to this.”

Les « Lina50+ Awards » sont un programme qui découvre et récompense les individus et les organisations qui ont contribué à améliorer la qualité de vie des personnes de 50 ans ou plus et à créer des valeurs sociales saines. Cette année marque le 8e anniversaire des prix.
Indream Healthcare a été récompensé pour le développement de « Indream Medisupport », une solution qui analyse et gère les interactions médicamenteuses et les effets secondaires chez les patients prenant plusieurs médicaments, dans le but de résoudre les problèmes de sécurité des médicaments chez les personnes âgées. La solution a été introduite à l'hôpital universitaire national de Jeju depuis avril et est actuellement utilisée pour traiter les patients âgés.
