AI 기반 의료 커뮤니케이션 플랫폼 기업 ㈜와이즈에이아이(대표 송형석)는 6월 20일, 미국 성심치과와 ‘덴트온(DentOn)’ 솔루션의 공동 개발 및 공급을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 북미 지역의 의료 시스템에 완전 연동되는 AI 솔루션을 공동 개발하고, 이를 통해 현지 시장에 진출하기 위한 교두보를 마련하는 데 목적이 있다. 양사는 이를 기반으로 미국과 캐나다를 포함한 북미 전역에 AI 의료 커뮤니케이션 플랫폼을 공급하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.
와이즈에이아이는 이번 협력을 통해 ▲북미 주요 EMR 시스템인 Open Dental과의 기술 연동 ▲영어 기반 AI 환자 응대 및 예약 리마인드 기능 ▲미국 의료보험 및 진료 프로세스에 최적화된 운영체계 ▲현지 의료 규정 및 컴플라이언스 준수 등 북미 진출을 위한 주요 요건을 반영한 통합형 솔루션을 구축할 계획이다.
성심치과에서 사용 중인 Open Dental은 미국과 캐나다에서 널리 활용되는 전자의무기록(EMR) 시스템으로, 이번 협업을 통해 와이즈에이아이는 북미 시장 내 주요 시스템과의 완전 연동 역량을 확보하게 된다. 또한, AI를 기반으로 한 자연어 영어 커뮤니케이션 기술도 고도화해, 현지 환자 응대 및 예약 관리 등에서 실질적인 효율화를 도모할 예정이다.
덴트온 플랫폼은 오는 7월 말까지 성심치과에 우선 구축될 예정이며, 이후 미국 내 Open Dental 사용 의료기관을 대상으로 한 확산 전략이 본격화될 전망이다.
송형석 와이즈에이아이 대표는 “이번 MOU는 단순한 해외 진출을 넘어 북미 의료 시스템에 최적화된 AI 솔루션을 확보하는 데 의미가 있다”며 “이를 계기로 북미 시장에서의 사업 확장에 속도를 낼 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

Wise AI Signs Business Agreement with Sacred Heart Dental Clinic in the United States
Wise AI Co., Ltd. (CEO Song Hyeong-seok), an AI-based medical communication platform company, announced on June 20 that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Sacred Heart Dental Hospital in the United States for the joint development and supply of the 'DentOn' solution.

Open Dental, which is used at Sungsim Dental Clinic, is an electronic medical record (EMR) system widely used in the United States and Canada. Through this collaboration, Wise AI will secure the ability to fully link with major systems in the North American market. In addition, it plans to advance its natural language English communication technology based on AI to achieve practical efficiency in local patient response and reservation management.
The DentON platform is scheduled to be initially established at Seongsim Dental Hospital by the end of July, after which a full-scale expansion strategy targeting medical institutions using Open Dental in the United States will be launched.
Song Hyeong-seok, CEO of Wise AI, said, “This MOU is meaningful in that it goes beyond simple overseas expansion and secures an AI solution optimized for the North American medical system,” adding, “We plan to use this as an opportunity to accelerate our business expansion in the North American market.”
Kim Ji-soo, the director of Hawaii Sacred Heart Dental Clinic, also said, “I positively evaluate the fact that local patients in the U.S. will be able to experience Korea’s AI technology through the introduction of DentON,” and added, “We plan to actively cooperate with Wise AI’s localization experience.”
