의료기기 기술기업 비투랩은 21일, 포스코국제관에서 열린 ‘POST CES 2025 경북·포항 스타트업 글로벌쇼’에서 말레이시아 유통사 글로벌페이스(Global Face)와 임플란트 제품 공급 및 기술 협력을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 비투랩이 개발한 펨토초 레이저 기반 표면처리 기술을 바탕으로 고기능성 임플란트 제품을 말레이시아 및 동남아시아 시장에 공급하기 위한 전략적 협력의 일환으로 진행됐다.
비투랩이 보유한 펨토초 레이저 기반 기술은 골융합력 향상뿐 아니라 생체적합성 및 환경 친화성을 함께 고려한 차세대 임플란트 표면처리 기술로 평가받고 있다. 회사 측은 이번 협약을 통해 해당 기술의 글로벌 적용 가능성을 실현하고, 말레이시아 현지 인허가, 임상, 유통 등 전 과정에서 글로벌페이스와 협업할 계획이다.
비투랩은 이번 협력을 바탕으로 고정체 및 상부구조물 제품의 현지 등록을 추진하고, 말레이시아 시장을 시작으로 동남아 전역으로 사업을 확대할 방침이다.
회사 관계자는 “이번 협약은 단순 공급을 넘어 기술 기반의 전략적 진출이라는 점에서 의미가 크다”며 “동남아 의료기기 시장에서의 경쟁력 확보를 위한 기반 마련에 주력할 예정”이라고 밝혔다.

Bitulab Signs Business Agreement with Global Face
Medical device technology company Bitulab announced on the 21st that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Malaysian distributor Global Face for the supply of implant products and technological cooperation at the 'POST CES 2025 Gyeongbuk·Pohang Startup Global Show' held at the POSCO International Pavilion.
This agreement is part of a strategic collaboration to supply high-functional implant products to the Malaysian and Southeast Asian markets based on the femtosecond laser-based surface treatment technology developed by Bitulab.
The femtosecond laser-based technology owned by Bitulab is evaluated as a next-generation implant surface treatment technology that not only improves bone fusion but also considers biocompatibility and environmental friendliness. Through this agreement, the company plans to realize the global applicability of the technology and collaborate with Global Face in all processes including local Malaysian approval, clinical trials, and distribution.
Based on this collaboration, Bitulab plans to pursue local registration of fixed and superstructure products and expand its business throughout Southeast Asia, starting with the Malaysian market.
A company official said, “This agreement is significant in that it goes beyond simple supply and is a strategic advancement based on technology,” adding, “We plan to focus on establishing a foundation for securing competitiveness in the Southeast Asian medical device market.”

今回の条約は、BoTurabが開発したフェムト秒レーザーベースの表面処理技術を基に、高機能性インプラント製品をマレーシアおよび東南アジア市場に供給するための戦略的協力の一環として行われた。
非ツーラップが保有するフェムト秒レーザーベースの技術は、骨融合力の向上だけでなく、生体適合性と環境親和性を共に考慮した次世代インプラント表面処理技術として評価されている。会社側は今回の協約を通じて当該技術のグローバル適用可能性を実現し、マレーシア現地の許可、臨床、流通など全過程でグローバルフェイスと協業する計画だ。
ビトゥラップは今回の協力をもとに固定体及び上部構造物製品の現地登録を推進し、マレーシア市場を皮切りに東南アジア全域に事業を拡大する方針だ。

La société de technologie de dispositifs médicaux Bitulab a annoncé le 21 avoir signé un accord commercial (MOU) avec le distributeur malaisien Global Face pour la fourniture de produits d'implants et la coopération technologique lors du « POST CES 2025 Gyeongbuk·Pohang Startup Global Show » qui s'est tenu au pavillon international POSCO.
Cet accord fait partie d'une collaboration stratégique visant à fournir des produits d'implants hautement fonctionnels aux marchés malaisien et d'Asie du Sud-Est basés sur la technologie de traitement de surface basée sur le laser femtoseconde développée par Bitulab.
