트웰브랩스(TwelveLabs, 대표 이재성)가 AX전문기업 LG CNS와 영상 AI 기술 협력을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 1일 밝혔다.
이번 협약으로 양사는 트웰브랩스의 세계 최고 수준 멀티모달 영상이해 기술과 LG CNS의 고객 맞춤형 AX 기술 및 사업 역량을 연계해 영상 분석 기술 고도화와 신규 사업 발굴을 함께 진행한다. 양사는 이번 협력을 바탕으로 미디어·방송, 공공·안전, 법률·수사기관 등 다양한 산업 분야에서 혁신적인 영상 AI 솔루션 공급을 가속화할 계획이다.
양사의 협력은 기술 및 사업적 협업 두 축으로 진행된다. 연구 협력을 통해 트웰브랩스의 영상이해 모델(Video Foundation Model, VFM)을 고도화하고 이를 바탕으로 고객 서비스 기획 및 구축으로 다양한 고객 대상 협업을 통해 사업 기회를 창출할 계획이다.
미디어·방송 분야에서 ▲뉴스, 스포츠, 드라마 콘텐츠 자동 요약 및 하이라이트 추출, ▲대규모 아카이브 영상 내 특정 키워드 및 상황 검색, ▲콘텐츠 시청 시 소비 중인 장면과 유사한 광고를 노출하는 맥락 광고 서비스 등을 제공한다. 공공ㆍ안전 및 법률ㆍ수사기관 분야에서는 ▲CCTV 특정 이벤트 자동 감지, △바디캠·블랙박스 영상 자동 요약, ▲사건 관련 장면 검색 등의 솔루션을 구현하여 전방위 혁신을 가속화한다.

Twelve Labs Signs MOU with LG CNS
TwelveLabs (CEO Jaeseong Lee) announced on the 1st that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with AX specialist LG CNS for cooperation in video AI technology.
Through this agreement, the two companies will work together to advance video analysis technology and discover new businesses by linking Twelve Labs’ world-class multimodal video understanding technology with LG CNS’s customer-tailored AX technology and business capabilities. Based on this collaboration, the two companies plan to accelerate the supply of innovative video AI solutions in various industries, including media and broadcasting, public and safety, and legal and investigative agencies.
The collaboration between the two companies will be carried out on two axes: technology and business collaboration. Through research collaboration, Twelve Labs plans to advance its Video Foundation Model (VFM), and based on this, it plans to create business opportunities through collaboration targeting various customers through planning and building customer services.
In the media and broadcasting sector, we provide ▲automatic summary and highlight extraction of news, sports, and drama content, ▲specific keyword and situation search within large-scale archive videos, and ▲contextual advertising services that display advertisements similar to the scene being consumed when watching content. TwelveLabs (PDG Jaeseong Lee) a annoncé le 1er avoir signé un accord commercial (MOU) avec le spécialiste AX LG CNS pour une coopération dans la technologie de l'IA vidéo.
