더로보틱스(THE Robotics)는 일본 효고현 야부시시(養父市)에서 자사의 농업용 추종형 운반로봇 ‘봇박스(botbox)’에 대한 현장 실증을 본격적으로 시작한다고 8일 밝혔다.
야부시는 일본 내 농업 인구의 고령화와 노동력 부족 문제가 심각한 중산간 농촌 지역으로, 농작업 자동화를 위한 로봇 도입의 필요성이 높은 곳이다. 해당 지역은 ‘국가전략특구’로 지정돼 혁신 기술의 현장 도입을 촉진하기 위해 지역 과제 해결형 POC(Proof of Concept) 실증 기업을 모집했으며, 30개 참가 팀 중 4개 팀만이 최종 선정됐다. 이 가운데 더로보틱스는 한국 기업 중 유일한 선정 기업이다.
실증에 투입되는 ‘봇박스’는 밭농사 현장에서 반복적이고 무거운 운반 작업을 자동화하기 위해 개발된 추종형 운반로봇으로, 간편한 조작법과 현장 적용성을 갖춰 현재 국내 과수 농가에서 생산성 향상에 기여하고 있다. 현장 적용성이 높은 점을 바탕으로 일본 농촌에도 즉시 투입이 가능하다는 설명이다.
더로보틱스는 약 2개월간의 집중 실증 기간 동안 현지 농민들의 의견을 반영해 기술을 최적화하고, 농작업 효율을 20% 이상 향상시키는 정량적 성과 도출을 목표로 하고 있다.
더로보틱스 강동우 대표는 “고령화가 진행된 일본 농촌 지역에서 우리 운반로봇이 실질적인 노동력 절감에 기여하기를 기대한다”며 “이번 실증을 바탕으로 일본 전역에 로봇 보급 확대를 위해 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

THE Robotics announced on the 8th that it will begin full-scale field verification of its agricultural follower transport robot 'botbox' in Yabushi City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.
Yabusi is a rural area in the middle of Japan with a serious problem of aging of the agricultural population and labor shortage, and there is a high need for the introduction of robots to automate agricultural work. The area was designated as a “national strategic special zone,” and in order to promote the introduction of innovative technologies to the field, local problem-solving POC (Proof of Concept) demonstration companies were recruited, and only four out of 30 participating teams were finally selected. Among them, Derrobotics is the only Korean company to be selected.
The 'Botbox' being used for verification is a follower transport robot developed to automate repetitive and heavy transport work in field farming. It is currently contributing to productivity improvement in domestic fruit farms due to its simple operation method and field applicability. It is explained that it can be immediately deployed in Japanese rural areas based on its high field applicability.
During the two-month intensive verification period, Derrobotics aims to optimize the technology by reflecting the opinions of local farmers and produce quantitative results that improve farming efficiency by more than 20%.
“We hope that our transport robots will contribute to substantial labor savings in Japan’s rural areas where the population is aging,” said Kang Dong-woo, CEO of Derrobotics. “Based on this demonstration, we will work to expand the supply of robots throughout Japan.”

実証に投入される「ボットボックス」は、畑農業現場で繰り返しかつ重い運搬作業を自動化するために開発された追従型運搬ロボットで、簡単な操作法と現場適用性を備え、現在国内果樹農家で生産性向上に寄与している。現場適用性が高い点をもとに、日本の農村にも即投入が可能だという説明だ。
ダロボティクスは約2ヶ月間の集中実証期間中、現地農民の意見を反映して技術を最適化し、農作業効率を20％以上向上させる定量的成果導出を目指している。
ダロボティクスのカン・ドンウ代表は「高齢化が進んだ日本の農村地域で、韓国運搬ロボットが実質的な労働力の削減に寄与することを期待する」とし「今回の実証に基づいて日本全域にロボット普及拡大のために努力する」と明らかにした。

Yabusi est une région rurale du centre du Japon confrontée à un grave problème de vieillissement de la population agricole et de pénurie de main-d'œuvre. L'introduction de robots pour automatiser les travaux agricoles est donc indispensable. La zone a été désignée « zone stratégique nationale spéciale » et, afin de promouvoir l'introduction de technologies innovantes sur le terrain, des entreprises locales de démonstration de faisabilité (POC) ont été recrutées. Seules quatre des 30 équipes participantes ont finalement été sélectionnées. Parmi elles, Derrobotics est la seule entreprise coréenne à avoir été sélectionnée.
Le « Botbox » utilisé pour la vérification est un robot de transport suiveur développé pour automatiser les tâches de transport répétitives et lourdes en agriculture de plein champ. Il contribue actuellement à l'amélioration de la productivité des exploitations fruitières japonaises grâce à sa simplicité d'utilisation et à son applicabilité sur le terrain. Il est expliqué qu'il peut être déployé immédiatement dans les zones rurales japonaises grâce à sa grande applicabilité sur le terrain.
Au cours de la période de vérification intensive de deux mois, Derrobotics vise à optimiser la technologie en reflétant les opinions des agriculteurs locaux et à produire des résultats quantitatifs qui améliorent l'efficacité agricole de plus de 20 %.
