제주창조경제혁신센터(대표이사 이병선, 이하 제주센터)는 국내 유망 스타트업의 글로벌 진출을 위한 글로벌 오픈이노베이션 프로그램 ‘오픈 아일랜드 : Poof Lab in Taiwan’에 참가할 기업을 모집한다고 밝혔다. 모집은 내달(8월) 4일까지 진행된다.
이번 프로그램인 ‘오픈 아일랜드 : Poof Lab in Taiwan’은 ‘세계와 연결되는 열린 제주 창업생태계’를 의미하는 ‘오픈 아일랜드’의 비전 아래, 대만 현지 기업과의 실증 프로젝트(PoC)를 통해 국내 스타트업의 해외 시장 검증 및 확장 가능성을 높이는 것을 목표로 한다.
특히 대만은 아시아 시장 진출의 중요한 교두보이자 테스트베드로서 그 중요성이 높이 평가된다. 제주센터는 스타트업이 대만 현지에서 자사의 혁신적인 기술과 서비스를 직접 실증(PoC)하고, 현지 시장의 특성과 수요를 면밀히 파악하여 성공적인 해외 진출 기반을 마련할 수 있도록 지원할 계획이다.
이번 프로그램은 제주센터가 스파크랩과 지난달 체결한 업무협약을 기반으로 진행되는 첫 프로젝트다. 스파크랩 타이완이 신청 기업을 현지에서 직접 진단하고 진단 결과에 따라 적합한 현지 파트너와 매칭해 실질적인 PoC 연결을 돕는다.
스파크랩 코리아도 지원에 나선다. 최종 선정된 2개사에는 사전 역량 강화 전문가 멘토링을 제공해 글로벌 진출 준비와 현지화 전략 수립을 체계적으로 지원할 예정이다.
모집 대상은 AI 또는 ICT 기반 기술·솔루션을 보유한 창업 10년 이내 스타트업이다. 대만의 제조, 통신, 전자, 산업 자동화 등 핵심 산업과의 기술 적용 가능성이 높은 기업을 우선 선발한다
최종 선정기업은 ▲PoC 실증 비용 일부 및 현지 체류비 ▲파트너 연결 및 밋업 운영 등 다양한 현지 실무 지원을 받는다. 더불어, ▲제주센터 보육기업 등록 ▲TIPS 및 후속 투자 프로그램 연계 등 장기적인 성장 기회를 얻는다.

Jeju Center, 'Open Island: Poof Lab in Taiwan' Participating Companies Recruitment
Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Lee Byeong-seon, hereinafter referred to as Jeju Center) announced that it is recruiting companies to participate in the global open innovation program 'Open Island: Poof Lab in Taiwan' for promising domestic startups to advance into the global market. Recruitment will be held until the 4th of next month (August).
This program, 'Open Island: Proof Lab in Taiwan', aims to increase the possibility of verification and expansion of domestic startups into overseas markets through proof-of-concept (PoC) projects with local Taiwanese companies under the vision of 'Open Island', which means 'an open Jeju startup ecosystem connected to the world'.
In particular, Taiwan is highly regarded as an important bridgehead and testbed for entering the Asian market. The Jeju Center plans to support startups to directly demonstrate their innovative technologies and services (PoC) in Taiwan and closely understand the characteristics and demands of the local market, thereby laying the foundation for successful overseas expansion.
This program is the first project to be carried out based on the business agreement signed between Jeju Center and SparkLabs last month. SparkLabs Taiwan will directly diagnose the applying companies on site and match them with suitable local partners based on the diagnosis results to help connect practical PoCs.
Sparklabs Korea will also provide support. The two companies selected will be provided with expert mentoring to strengthen their capabilities in advance, and will systematically support their preparation for global expansion and establishment of localization strategies.
The recruitment target is startups that have been in business for less than 10 years and have AI or ICT-based technologies and solutions. Priority will be given to companies with high potential for technology application to Taiwan's core industries such as manufacturing, communications, electronics, and industrial automation.
The final selected companies will receive various local practical support such as ▲a portion of the PoC verification cost and local living expenses ▲partner connection and meetup operation. In addition, they will gain long-term growth opportunities such as ▲registration as a childcare company in Jeju Center ▲linkage with TIPS and follow-up investment programs.

La priorité sera donnée aux entreprises présentant un fort potentiel d'application technologique aux secteurs clés de Taïwan, tels que l'industrie manufacturière, les communications, l'électronique et l'automatisation industrielle.
Les entreprises sélectionnées bénéficieront de divers soutiens locaux pratiques, tels qu'une prise en charge partielle des frais de vérification de la preuve de concept et des frais de subsistance, ainsi que la mise en relation avec des partenaires et l'organisation de rencontres. Elles bénéficieront également d'opportunités de croissance à long terme, telles que l'enregistrement comme entreprise de garde d'enfants au centre de Jeju, et la mise en relation avec TIPS et des programmes d'investissement complémentaires.
