AI 기술 기반 자동차 정비 솔루션 기업 데이티움(대표 유가온)은 21일 Pre-A 라운드 투자 유치를 완료했다고 밝혔다. 이번 투자에는 한국투자액셀러레이터와 서울대기술지주가 참여했다.
데이티움은 이번 투자를 통해 자사 자동차 정비 플랫폼 ‘AutoHOS’의 AI 이미지 인식 기술과 정비 자동화 프로세스를 고도화하고, 정비소 대상 고객사를 확대할 계획이다.
데이티움은 자동차 부품 데이터를 원천적으로 수집·축적하고 있는 국내 유일의 기업 중 하나로, 이 데이터를 바탕으로 고도화된 AI 기술 플랫폼을 개발하고 있다. 특히 차량 정비와 관련된 특정 버티컬 분야에서는 범용 AI 모델의 적용이 제한적인 만큼, 정밀한 원천 데이터를 기반으로 한 모델 최적화가 필수적인 상황이다. 데이티움은 이를 자체 수집한 데이터와 기술력으로 해결하고 있다는 평가를 받고 있다.
회사는 해당 데이터를 활용해 정비소 운영에 필요한 다양한 서비스를 제공 중이다. 휴대폰과 PC를 통해 블로그 콘텐츠 자동 생성, 부품 발주, 재고 관리 등 정비소 운영을 디지털화하는 기능을 포함하고 있으며, 기존 정비 프로그램과는 차별화된 사용자 경험을 제공한다는 점에서 경쟁력을 갖추고 있다.
데이티움 공동 창업자 유가온 대표, 황인성 이사, 이승철 이사는 모두 글로벌 교육 앱 ‘콴다(QANDA)’에서 AI 기반 서비스 운영 경험을 쌓은 바 있으며, 유 대표를 포함한 주요 구성원은 서울대학교 컴퓨터공학부 출신으로 구성돼 기술 역량 강화에 집중하고 있다.
유가온 대표는 “정비 산업은 기술력과 숙련도가 높음에도 불구하고 일반 소비자에게는 아직 전문성이 충분히 전달되지 않는 분야”라며, “데이티움은 실제 현장에서 노력하는 정비소들이 보다 효율적으로 운영되고 성장할 수 있도록 기술 기반의 실질적인 솔루션을 제공하겠다”고 밝혔다. 이어 “앞으로 자동차 정비 업계에서도 일상적으로 활용되는 도구로 자리잡는 것이 목표”라고 덧붙였다.
이번 Pre-A 라운드를 리드한 한국투자액셀러레이터 변상훈 심사역은 “데이티움은 수십 년간 쉽게 변하지 않았던 자동차 정비 업계 내에서, AI 기술을 활용하여 정비사들의 업무 생산성을 획기적으로 끌어 올릴 수 있는 대체 불가능한 서비스를 개발했다”며 “현재 빠르게 성장해 가고 있는 서비스 지표를 토대로 국내를 뛰어넘어 글로벌 선도 플레이어로서 자리매김하기를 응원한다”고 말했다.
Dateum Completes Investment Attraction.. “Advanced AI-based Automobile Maintenance Platform”
Daytium (CEO Yoo Ga-on), an AI technology-based automotive maintenance solution company, announced on the 21st that it had completed attracting Pre-A round investment. Korea Investment Accelerator and Seoul National University Technology Holdings participated in this investment.

Dateum is one of the only companies in Korea that collects and accumulates automobile parts data from the beginning, and is developing an advanced AI technology platform based on this data. In particular, since the application of general AI models is limited in certain vertical fields related to vehicle maintenance, model optimization based on precise original data is essential. Dateum is evaluated to be solving this with its own collected data and technology.
The company is using the data to provide various services necessary for operating a repair shop. It includes functions to digitalize repair shop operations, such as automatic creation of blog content, parts ordering, and inventory management via mobile phones and PCs, and is competitive in that it provides a user experience that is differentiated from existing repair programs.
Co-founders of Dateum, CEO Yoo Ga-on, Director Hwang In-seong, and Director Lee Seung-cheol, all have experience operating AI-based services in the global education app 'QANDA', and the key members, including CEO Yoo, are graduates of Seoul National University's Department of Computer Engineering and are focusing on strengthening technological capabilities.
CEO Yoo Ga-on said, “Despite its high level of technology and skill, the maintenance industry is a field where expertise is not yet sufficiently conveyed to general consumers,” and added, “Dateum will provide technology-based, practical solutions so that maintenance shops working in the field can operate more efficiently and grow.” He added, “Our goal is to establish ourselves as a tool that is used on a daily basis in the automobile maintenance industry.”
Sanghoon Byun, an appraiser at Korea Investment Accelerator, which led this Pre-A round, said, “Dateum has developed an irreplaceable service that can dramatically improve the work productivity of mechanics by utilizing AI technology within the automobile maintenance industry, which has not changed much for decades.” He added, “Based on its rapidly growing service indicators, we hope that the company will go beyond the domestic market and establish itself as a leading global player.”

AI技術ベースの自動車整備ソリューション企業デイティウム（代表ユガオン）は21日、Pre-Aラウンド投資誘致を完了したと明らかにした。今回の投資には韓国投資アクセラレータとソウル大技術持株が参加した。

今回のPre-Aラウンドをリードした韓国投資アクセラレータのビョン・サンフン審査役は「デイティウムは数十年間容易に変わらなかった自動車整備業界内で、AI技術を活用して整備士の業務生産性を画期的に引き上げることができる代替不可能なサービスを開発した」とし「現在急速に成長しているサービス指標を土地として応援する」と話した。
