고등어 연중 산란 특허 기술을 핵심 역량으로 보유한 메가플랜이 중소벤처기업부 팁스(TIPS) 프로그램에 최종 선정되며, 인공지능(AI) 기반 스마트 양식 기술 개발에 박차를 가한다. 이번 선정을 통해 메가플랜은 ‘AI 기반 행동패턴 분석 및 디지털 트윈 기술을 활용한 고등어 스마트 양식장 개발’ 과제를 수행하며 글로벌 스마트 양식 시장의 선두 주자로 발돋움할 계획이다.
팁스 프로그램은 혁신적인 기술력을 가진 스타트업의 글로벌 시장 진출을 지원하기 위해 민간 투자와 정부 지원을 연계하는 대표적인 창업 지원 사업이다. 팁스 프로그램 선정 기업은 정부로부터 연구개발(R&D) 자금을 지원받을 수 있으며, 민간 투자 유치 금액에 따라 추가적인 사업화 자금도 지원받을 수 있다.

Megaplan, which possesses the patented mackerel year-round spawning technology as its core competency, has been finally selected for the TIPS program of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and will accelerate the development of AI-based smart aquaculture technology. The TIPS program is a representative startup support program that links private investment and government support to support the entry of startups with innovative technologies into the global market. Companies selected for the TIPS program can receive R&D funding from the government, and can also receive additional commercialization funding depending on the amount of private investment attracted.

ティップスプログラムは、革新的な技術力を持つスタートアップのグローバル市場進出を支援するために民間投資と政府支援を連携する代表的な創業支援事業である。ティップスプログラム選定企業は政府から研究開発(R&D)資金を支援され、民間投資誘致金額に応じて追加的な事業化資金も支援される。
