AI 기반 자산관리 플랫폼 ‘에임’의 미국 관계사인 ‘에임기술지주회사’가 미국 뉴욕 롱아일랜드시티에서 맨해튼 미드타운으로 본사를 확장 이전했다고 29일 밝혔다. 이번 이전은 플랫폼 역량 강화를 위한 전략적 조치로, 글로벌 자산관리 시장 진출 확대를 위한 기반 마련 차원에서 추진됐다.
에임기술지주회사는 2015년 설립된 지식재산권(IP) 전문 기업으로, 에임 플랫폼에 적용되는 AI 자산관리 알고리즘과 소프트웨어 개발 및 관련 IP를 총괄하고 있다. 에임보다 1년 먼저 설립된 이 회사는 현재 에임의 핵심 기술 기반을 담당하고 있다.
이번 사무소 이전을 통해 에임은 뉴욕 월스트리트 금융 네트워크와의 연계를 강화하고, 미국 현지 개발 인재 채용을 확대해 자사의 AI 자산관리 알고리즘 ‘에스더(ESTHER)’ 고도화를 본격화할 계획이다. 이를 통해 미국 자산관리 시장을 포함한 글로벌 시장 공략에 나선다는 방침이다.
이번 조치는 에임이 추진 중인 ‘글로벌 자산가 1,000만 명 만들기’ 중장기 전략의 일환으로, 현재 100만 명 수준인 사용자를 2030년까지 1,000만 명 규모로 확대한다는 목표를 포함하고 있다. 에임은 자체 투자 자문 역량과 글로벌 투자 데이터를 기반으로 D2C(Direct-to-Customer) 모델을 확장 중이다.

This move is part of Aim's mid- to long-term strategy to "create 10 million global wealthy individuals," which includes the goal of expanding the number of users from the current 1 million to 10 million by 2030. Aim is expanding its direct-to-customer (D2C) model, leveraging its in-house investment advisory capabilities and global investment data.
Aim CEO Lee Ji-hye said, “New York is the center of the global financial industry, and this office relocation is the starting point for us to fully attack the overseas market by combining Aim’s technological prowess and global capabilities,” adding, “We plan to use this as a bridgehead to effectively respond to domestic and international asset management demands.”

Cette décision stratégique vise à renforcer les capacités de la plateforme et à poser les bases de son expansion sur le marché mondial de la gestion d'actifs.
Fondée en 2015, Aim Technology Holdings est une société spécialisée dans la propriété intellectuelle (PI). Elle supervise le développement d'algorithmes, de logiciels et de PI de gestion d'actifs d'IA appliqués à la plateforme Aim. Fondée un an avant Aim, la société supervise actuellement les fondamentaux technologiques d'Aim.
