디지털 헬스케어 스타트업 에이트스튜디오㈜(대표 박신기)는 시드 투자 유치에 성공하며 북미 및 유럽 시장 진출에 박차를 가하고 있다고 4일 밝혔다. 이번 투자에는 한국투자엑셀러레이터, MYSC, 더웰스인베스트먼트가 공동 참여했으며, 기존 투자자인 MYSC는 후속 투자에 나섰다.
에이트스튜디오는 이번 투자금을 바탕으로 미국 샌프란시스코 현지 시장 조사 및 9월 예정된 스위스 바젤대학교와의 협력 프로젝트 등 글로벌 사업 확대를 본격 추진할 계획이다.
에이트스튜디오가 개발한 ‘메디스텝(MediStep)’은 iPad의 온디바이스 AI 기술을 활용한 마커리스(Markerless) 보행분석 솔루션이다. 별도의 센서 없이 전신 관절 움직임을 정밀하게 측정할 수 있으며, 수억 원대의 기존 장비 대비 90% 이상 비용을 절감하면서도 약 95% 수준의 계측 정확도를 구현한 것이 특징이다. 지난 5월에는 산업통상자원부로부터 NET 신기술 인증을 획득해 기술력을 공식적으로 인정받았다.
박신기 에이트스튜디오 대표는 “보행분석 의료기기는 진입 장벽이 높은 분야지만, 메디스텝은 실용성과 정밀성을 동시에 갖춘 솔루션으로 접근하고 있다”며 “국내외 의료기관과의 협력을 확대해 레퍼런스를 축적하고, 글로벌 시장 진출을 병행해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Digital healthcare startup Eight Studio (CEO Park Shin-ki) announced on the 4th that it has successfully secured seed funding, accelerating its expansion into the North American and European markets. Korea Investment Accelerator, MYSC, and The Wells Investment jointly participated in this round, with existing investor MYSC making a follow-on investment.
With this investment, Eight Studio plans to actively pursue global business expansion, including local market research in San Francisco, USA, and a collaborative project with the University of Basel, Switzerland, scheduled for September.
Developed by Eight Studio, MediStep is a markerless gait analysis solution that leverages the iPad's on-device AI technology. It precisely measures full-body joint movement without the need for separate sensors. Compared to existing equipment costing hundreds of millions of won, MediStep boasts a measurement accuracy of approximately 95%, while reducing costs by over 90%. In May, MediStep received NET New Technology certification from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, officially recognizing its technological prowess.

デジタルヘルスケアスタートアップエイトスタジオ(代表パク・シンギ)はシード投資誘致に成功し、北米および欧州市場進出に拍車をかけていると4日明らかにした。今回の投資には韓国投資アクセラレータ、MYSC、ダーウェルズインベストメントが共同参加し、既存投資家であるMYSCは後続投資に乗り出した。
エイトスタジオは今回の投資金をもとに米国サンフランシスコ現地市場調査および9月予定されたスイスバーゼル大学との協力プロジェクトなどグローバル事業拡大を本格推進する計画だ。

数字医疗初创公司 Eight Studio（代表：朴信基）4日宣布，成功获得种子轮融资，将加速进军北美和欧洲市场。韩国投资加速器（Korea Investment Accelerator）、MYSC 和 The Wells Investment 共同参与了本轮融资，现有投资者 MYSC 也进行了跟投。

La startup spécialisée dans la santé numérique Eight Studio (PDG : Park Shin-ki) a annoncé le 4 juin avoir obtenu un financement d'amorçage, accélérant ainsi son expansion sur les marchés nord-américain et européen. Korea Investment Accelerator, MYSC et The Wells Investment ont participé conjointement à ce tour de table, tandis que MYSC, l'investisseur existant, a réalisé un investissement complémentaire.
Avec cet investissement, Eight Studio prévoit de poursuivre activement son expansion commerciale mondiale, notamment en menant des études de marché locales à San Francisco, aux États-Unis, et en menant un projet collaboratif avec l'Université de Bâle, en Suisse, prévu pour septembre.
