자율 비행 드론 스타트업 비거라지(B GARAGE, 대표 김영준)가 현대글로비스(대표 이규복)의 미국 조지아주 물류센터에 자율 비행 드론 기반 재고 조사 자동화 서비스를 공급해 업무 효율화를 달성했다고 5일 밝혔다.
비거라지는 웹 기반 사용자 소프트웨어부터 컴퓨터 비전, 카메라 비전 기반 자율 비행 소프트웨어, 드론 및 배터리팩, 자동 배터리 교체 베이스 스테이션 등 하드웨어와 소프트웨어를 통합한 수직 통합형 솔루션을 자체 개발해 운영하고 있다. 특히 GPS 신호가 미작동하는 환경에서도 자율 비행이 가능한 드론 기술을 적용해 물류창고 내 재고 조사를 완전 자동화했다.
현대글로비스는 올해 상반기부터 현대자동차그룹 메타플랜트 아메리카(HMGMA) 내 통합물류센터에서 자동차 반조립 부품(KD) 재고 조사를 위해 비거라지의 서비스를 도입했다. 이를 통해 전산 재고와 실물 재고 간 오류를 빠르게 식별해 재고 파악 정확도를 99% 이상으로 향상시켰으며, 기존 육안 조사 대비 재고 조사 시간을 90% 이상 단축했다.
현대글로비스는 이 성과를 바탕으로 비거라지의 서비스 공급을 HMGMA CC 내에서 추가 확대할 계획이다.
비거라지 김영준 대표는 “자율 비행 드론 서비스를 통해 인력 부담을 줄이고 신속·정확한 재고 조사 가능성을 입증했다”며 “앞으로 드론 소형화와 기술 고도화를 통해 실내 시설물 점검, 경비, 국방 정찰 등 활용 분야를 확대할 것”이라고 말했다.

Bigarage to Provide Autonomous Drone Inventory Investigation Service to Hyundai Glovis Logistics Center
Autonomous drone startup B Garage (CEO Kim Young-jun) announced on the 5th that it has achieved work efficiency by providing an automated inventory survey service based on autonomous drones to Hyundai Glovis' (CEO Lee Kyu-bok) logistics center in Georgia, USA.
Bigarea develops and operates vertically integrated solutions that integrate hardware and software, including web-based user software, computer vision and camera vision-based autonomous flight software, drones and battery packs, and automatic battery replacement base stations. Specifically, it has fully automated inventory checks within its warehouses by applying drone technology capable of autonomous flight even in environments without GPS signals.
Hyundai Glovis introduced Bigarage's inventory management service for automotive knockdown (KD) components at its integrated logistics center within Hyundai Motor Group's Metaplant America (HMGMA) in the first half of this year. This service quickly identified errors between computerized and physical inventory, improving inventory accuracy to over 99% and reducing inventory management time by over 90% compared to traditional visual inventory management.
Building on this achievement, Hyundai Glovis plans to further expand its service offerings within the HMGMA CC.
Bigarage CEO Kim Young-jun said, “We have proven the possibility of reducing the burden on manpower and conducting quick and accurate inventory surveys through autonomous drone service,” and added, “In the future, we will expand the areas of application to include indoor facility inspection, security, and national defense reconnaissance through miniaturization of drones and advancement of technology.”

現代グロビスは今年上半期から現代自動車グループメタプラントアメリカ（ＨＭＧＭＡ）内の統合物流センターで自動車半組立部品（ＫＤ）在庫調査のためにビラージのサービスを導入した。これにより、計算在庫と実物在庫間の誤りを迅速に識別し、在庫把握精度を99％以上に向上させ、既存の目視調査に比べて在庫調査時間を90％以上短縮した。
ヒュンダイグロービスは、この成果に基づいて、ビガラージのサービス供給をHMGMA CC内でさらに拡大する計画だ。

La startup de drones autonomes B Garage (PDG Kim Young-jun) a annoncé le 5 qu'elle avait atteint une efficacité de travail en fournissant un service d'enquête d'inventaire automatisé basé sur des drones autonomes au centre logistique de Hyundai Glovis (PDG Lee Kyu-bok) en Géorgie, aux États-Unis.
Bigarea développe et exploite des solutions verticalement intégrées intégrant matériel et logiciel, notamment des logiciels utilisateur web, des logiciels de vol autonome basés sur la vision par ordinateur et la vision par caméra, des drones et des packs de batteries, ainsi que des stations de base de remplacement automatique des batteries.
