국제아동권리 NGO 세이브더칠드런 경인지역본부(본부장 김성아)는 8월 1일 경기도 부천교육지원청 청백마루홀에서 ‘기후위기 대응 코딩 스쿨’ 경연대회를 마쳤다고 11일 밝혔다.
‘기후위기 대응 코딩 스쿨’은 세이브더칠드런 경인지역본부와 반도체 기업 온세미가 공동으로 추진한 교육 프로그램으로, 청소년의 기후위기 대응 역량 강화를 목표로 STEAM(과학, 기술, 공학, 예술, 수학) 교육과 코딩을 접목했다.
이번 경연대회는 프로그램의 최종 단계로, 세이브더칠드런과 온세미 관계자, 참여 학생 및 학부모 등이 참석한 가운데 개최됐다. 참가 학생들은 팀별 발표회를 통해 기후위기 대응을 주제로 한 코딩 프로젝트를 선보였으며, 상호 격려의 시간을 가졌다.
대회에는 부천여월중학교, 부천부곡중학교, 소사청소년센터 소속 총 4개 팀이 참가했다. 각 팀은 기후위기 문제 상황을 정의하고 기술적 해결 방안과 스토리텔링을 결합한 창의적인 결과물을 발표했다.
심사는 주제 적합성, 창의성, 협동심 세 가지 기준을 적용해 진행됐다. 최우수상은 부천부곡중학교 팀에게, 우수상은 소사청소년센터 팀에게, 장려상은 부천여월중학교 1팀과 2팀에게 각각 수여됐다. 수상 팀에는 경기도부천교육지원청 교육장상도 함께 전달됐다.
참가 학생들은 “기후위기의 심각성을 체감하고, 코딩과 아이디어를 결합해 문제 해결 방안을 제시하는 경험이 의미 있었다”며 “팀원들과 협력하며 많은 것을 배웠고, 기회가 되면 다시 참여하고 싶다”는 소감을 밝혔다.
온세미코리아 김병수 상무는 “청소년들이 STEAM 교육을 통해 복잡한 기후위기 문제를 과학, 기술, 예술적 사고로 접근하는 모습이 인상적이었다”며 “앞으로도 STEAM 기반 교육 프로그램을 지속적으로 지원해 미래세대의 창의적 문제 해결 역량을 키워나가겠다”고 말했다.
세이브더칠드런 경인지역본부 김성아 본부장은 “이번 대회는 미래세대가 기후위기를 자신의 문제로 인식하고 창의적으로 해결하려는 과정을 경험한 뜻깊은 자리였다”며 “아동 스스로 성장과 성과를 돌아보며 서로를 격려하는 ‘배움의 장’으로서도 큰 의미가 있었다”고 밝혔다.

Save the Children's Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters concludes its "Climate Crisis Response Coding School."
The international children's rights NGO Save the Children Gyeong-In Regional Headquarters (Director Kim Seong-ah) announced on the 11th that it had finished the 'Climate Crisis Response Coding School' competition at the Cheongbaekmaru Hall of the Bucheon Office of Education in Gyeonggi Province on August 1st.
The 'Climate Crisis Response Coding School' is an educational program jointly promoted by Save the Children Gyeong-In Regional Headquarters and semiconductor company Onsemi. It combines STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) education and coding with the goal of strengthening youth's climate crisis response capabilities.
This competition, the final stage of the program, was attended by Save the Children and Onsemi officials, participating students, and their parents. The participating students presented coding projects on climate crisis response through team presentations and shared encouragement.
A total of four teams from Bucheon Yeowol Middle School, Bucheon Bugok Middle School, and Sosa Youth Center participated in the competition. Each team defined the climate crisis and presented a creative solution combining technical solutions and storytelling.
The judging process was based on three criteria: theme relevance, creativity, and teamwork. The grand prize went to the Bucheon Bugok Middle School team, the excellence award went to the Sosa Youth Center team, and the encouragement award went to teams 1 and 2 from Bucheon Yeowol Middle School. The winning teams also received awards from the Superintendent of Education of the Bucheon Office of Education, Gyeonggi Province.
The participating students said, “It was a meaningful experience to experience the severity of the climate crisis and to propose solutions by combining coding and ideas,” and “I learned a lot by working with my teammates, and I would like to participate again if I have the chance.”
Kim Byeong-su, Managing Director of Onsemi Korea, said, “It was impressive to see young people approaching the complex climate crisis issue through scientific, technological, and artistic thinking through STEAM education,” and added, “We will continue to support STEAM-based education programs to foster the creative problem-solving capabilities of future generations.”
Kim Seong-ah, head of Save the Children’s Gyeong-In Regional Headquarters, said, “This competition was a meaningful opportunity for future generations to recognize the climate crisis as their own problem and experience the process of creatively trying to solve it,” and “It was also very meaningful as a ‘place of learning’ where children could reflect on their own growth and achievements and encourage each other.”

「気候危機対応コーディングスクール」は、セーブ・ザ・チルドレン京畿道駅本部と半導体企業のオンセミが共同で推進した教育プログラムで、青少年の気候危機対応力量強化を目標にSTEAM（科学、技術、工学、芸術、数学）の教育とコーディングを組み合わせた。
今回のコンテストはプログラムの最終段階で、セーブ・ザ・チルドレンとオンセミ関係者、参加学生および保護者などが参加した中で開催された。参加学生はチーム別発表会を通じて気候危機対応をテーマにしたコーディングプロジェクトを披露し、相互励ましの時間を持った。
大会には富川余月中学校、富川富谷中学校、小社青少年センター所属の計4チームが参加した。各チームは気候危機問題の状況を定義し、技術的な解決策とストーリーテリングを組み合わせた創造的な結果を発表した。
審査は主題適合性、創意性、協同心の３つの基準を適用して進行された。最優秀賞は富川部谷中学校チームに、優秀賞は小社青少年センターチームに、奨励賞は富川女子月中学校1チームと2チームにそれぞれ授与された。受賞チームには京畿道富川教育支援庁教育長賞も一緒に伝達された。
参加学生は「気候危機の深刻性を体感し、コーディングとアイデアを組み合わせて問題解決方案を提示する経験が意味あった」とし「チームメンバーと協力して多くのことを学び、機会になれば再び参加したい」という所感を明らかにした。
オンセミコリアのキム・ビョンス常務は「青少年たちがSTEAM教育を通じて複雑な気候危機問題を科学、技術、芸術的思考で接近する姿が印象的だった」とし「今後もSTEAMベースの教育プログラムを継続的に支援し、未来世代の創造的問題解決力量を育てていく」と話した。
セイブ・ザ・チルドレンの京畿道駅本部キム・ソンア本部長は「今回の大会は、未来世代が気候危機を自分の問題として認識し、創造的に解決しようとする過程を経験した重要な席だった」とし、「児童自らの成長と成果を振り返り、お互いを励ます「学びの場」としても大きな意味があった」と明らかにした。

救助儿童会京畿地区总部结束了“气候危机应对编码学校”的课程。
国际儿童权利非政府组织救助儿童会京仁地区总部（理事长金成雅）11日表示，“气候危机应对编码学校”比赛于8月1日在京畿道富川市教育厅清白楼礼堂落下帷幕。
“气候危机应对编程学校”是由救助儿童会京仁地区总部和半导体公司安森美联合推出的教育项目，它将STEAM（科学、技术、工程、艺术和数学）教育与编程相结合，旨在增强青少年应对气候危机的能力。
本次比赛是项目的最后一场，救助儿童会和安森美公司的相关负责人、参赛学生及其家长参加了比赛。参赛学生通过团队展示和互相鼓励的方式，提交了应对气候危机的编程项目。
本次比赛共有来自富川汝矣岛中学、富川富谷中学和素砂青少年中心的四支队伍参赛，每支队伍都对气候危机进行了定义，并提出了结合技术方案和故事叙述的创意解决方案。
评审基于三个标准：主题相关性、创意性和团队合作。特等奖授予了富川富谷中学团队，优秀奖授予了所砂青少年中心团队，鼓励奖授予了富川汝月中学1队和2队。获奖团队还获得了京畿道富川市教育厅教育监督官颁发的奖状。
参赛学生表示，“亲身体验气候危机的严峻性，并结合编程和创意提出解决方案，是一次非常有意义的经历”，“通过与队友们的合作，我学到了很多东西，如果有机会，我还想再次参加”。
安森美韩国总经理金炳洙表示，“看到年轻人通过STEAM教育，运用科学、技术和艺术思维来解决复杂的气候危机问题，令人印象深刻”，并补充道，“我们将继续支持基于STEAM的教育项目，培养未来几代人的创造性解决问题的能力。”
救助儿童会京仁地区本部负责人金成雅表示，“本次比赛对于让后代认识到气候危机是他们自己的问题，并体验创造性地解决气候危机的过程，是一个很有意义的机会”，“作为孩子们反思自身成长和成就、互相鼓励的‘学习场所’，它也非常有意义”。

Le siège régional de Save the Children à Gyeonggi conclut son « École de codage sur la réponse à la crise climatique ».
L'ONG internationale de défense des droits de l'enfant Save the Children, siège régional de Gyeong-In (directrice Kim Seong-ah), a annoncé le 11 qu'elle avait terminé le concours « École de codage de réponse à la crise climatique » au Cheongbaekmaru Hall du Bureau de l'éducation de Bucheon dans la province de Gyeonggi le 1er août.
L'École de codage pour la réponse à la crise climatique est un programme éducatif promu conjointement par le siège régional de Save the Children à Gyeong-In et l'entreprise de semi-conducteurs Onsemi. Il combine l'enseignement des STEAM (sciences, technologie, ingénierie, art et mathématiques) et le codage afin de renforcer les capacités des jeunes à réagir à la crise climatique.
Ce concours, dernière étape du programme, a réuni des représentants de Save the Children et d'Onsemi, des élèves participants et leurs parents. Ces derniers ont présenté des projets de codage sur la réponse à la crise climatique, par le biais de présentations d'équipe et d'encouragements mutuels.
Au total, quatre équipes des collèges Bucheon Yeowol et Bucheon Bugok et du Centre jeunesse Sosa ont participé au concours. Chaque équipe a défini la crise climatique et présenté une solution créative alliant techniques et narration.
Le processus de sélection s'est basé sur trois critères : la pertinence du thème, la créativité et le travail d'équipe. Le grand prix a été décerné à l'équipe du collège Bucheon Bugok, le prix d'excellence à l'équipe du centre jeunesse Sosa et le prix d'encouragement aux équipes 1 et 2 du collège Bucheon Yeowol. Les équipes gagnantes ont également reçu des prix du surintendant de l'éducation du bureau de l'éducation de Bucheon, province du Gyeonggi.
Les étudiants participants ont déclaré : « C'était une expérience enrichissante de ressentir la gravité de la crise climatique et de proposer des solutions en combinant codage et idées », et « J'ai beaucoup appris en travaillant avec mes coéquipiers, et j'aimerais participer à nouveau si j'en ai l'occasion. »
Kim Byeong-su, directeur général d'Onsemi Korea, a déclaré : « C'était impressionnant de voir des jeunes aborder la question complexe de la crise climatique à travers une réflexion scientifique, technologique et artistique grâce à l'éducation STEAM », et a ajouté : « Nous continuerons à soutenir les programmes d'éducation basés sur STEAM pour favoriser les capacités créatives de résolution de problèmes des générations futures. »
Kim Seong-ah, directeur du siège régional de Save the Children à Gyeong-In, a déclaré : « Ce concours a été une occasion significative pour les générations futures de reconnaître la crise climatique comme leur propre problème et d'expérimenter le processus de résolution créative de cette crise », et « C'était également très significatif en tant que « lieu d'apprentissage » où les enfants pouvaient réfléchir à leur propre croissance et à leurs réalisations et s'encourager mutuellement. »
