AI 수요예측 전문기업 임팩티브에이아이(대표 정두희)가 시리즈A 라운드를 통해 총 82억 원 규모의 투자를 유치했다. 이번 투자에는 에이벤처스, 현대투자파트너스, 롯데벤처스, CJ인베스트먼트, IBK벤처투자 등이 신규 참여했다.
기존 투자사 중에서는 신용보증기금이 후속 투자를 집행했다. 이번 라운드를 포함한 누적 투자금은 총 108억 원에 달하며, 이와는 별도로 딥테크 팁스를 통한 지원금도 추가로 확보했다.
임팩티브에이아이는 현재까지 총 61건의 AI 특허를 출원 및 등록했으며, 독일 베를린에서 열린 ‘드라이버리 베를린(Drivery Berlin)’ 마켓플레이스 대회에서 우승을 거두며 기술력을 공식적으로 인정받았다. 최근에는 유럽 최대 응용기술 연구소인 프라운호퍼(Fraunhofer IWU)와 예측기술 공동개발 협력도 시작해 글로벌 기술시장에서도 주목받고 있다.
이번 투자 라운드는 전략적 파트너십을 동반한 사업적 시너지 중심의 투자로 이뤄졌다는 점에서 주목된다. 롯데벤처스는 임팩티브에이아이가 롯데이노베이트뿐만 아니라 롯데케미칼 등 롯데 계열사와 계약을 연달아 수주하는 과정에 주목해, 그 시너지 가능성을 높이 평가하며 투자에 참여했다. CJ인베스트먼트는 CJ제일제당에 원자재 가격예측과 신제품 수요예측 솔루션 등 두 차례에 걸쳐 AI 기술을 공급하게 된 계기를 바탕으로, 추가 협력 가능성을 보고 투자에 나섰다. 현대투자파트너스는 현대엘리베이터 등 그룹 계열사와의 기술 연결 논의를 통해 투자에 나섰고, 에이벤처스는 자사 포트폴리오사와 임팩티브에이아이 간의 기술 공급 계약을 직접 성사시키며, 이번 라운드의 리드 투자자로 나섰다.
에이벤처스 김태규 부사장은 “기업의 본질은 수익 창출에 있기 때문에, 매출 증대와 비용 절감이라는 두 축에서 실질적인 효과를 기대할 수 있는 솔루션에 주목했다”고 언급하며, “복잡한 AI 모델을 융합해 고객사가 고도의 AI 개발 인력을 확보하지 못해도 기업이 손쉽게 활용할 수 있도록 최신기술이 구현된 점이 인상적이었고, 이는 산업 전반에 AI 기술이 빠르게 확산되는 흐름과 맞물려 구조적인 시장 성장 가능성을 갖췄다고 판단해 이번 투자를 결정하게 됐다”고 제시했다.

CJ Investment, seeing the potential for further collaboration based on its previous experience providing AI technology to CJ CheilJedang on two occasions—for raw material price forecasting and new product demand forecasting solutions—led its investment. Hyundai Investment Partners invested after discussing technology integration with group affiliates, including Hyundai Elevator. A Ventures directly secured a technology supply agreement between its portfolio companies and Impactive AI, becoming the lead investor in this round.

This coincides with the rapid spread of AI technology across industries, and we decided to make this investment because we judged that it had the potential for structural market growth.”
