AI 보안 합성데이터 스타트업 ㈜큐빅(CUBIG, 공동대표 배호, 정민찬)이 시리즈 A 투자 라운드를 완료했다고 13일 밝혔다. 이번 투자에는 영국 투자사 Iona Star LP와 국내 벤처캐피탈 프렌드투자파트너스가 공동으로 참여했으며, 누적 투자금액은 90억 원을 넘겼다.
큐빅은 민감한 개인정보에 접근하지 않고도 AI 학습 및 분석에 필요한 고품질 합성데이터를 생성하는 기술을 개발했다. 주요 제품인 ‘X-PERT’는 차등정보보호 기술을 기반으로 한 노코드 AI 플랫폼으로, 실데이터 없이도 금융, 공공, 의료 등 다양한 산업 환경에 적합한 멀티모달 데이터를 생성 및 시뮬레이션할 수 있다. 현재 교보생명, IBK기업은행, 강남구청 등 보안 요구가 높은 국내 주요 금융기관과 공공기관을 고객으로 확보하고 있으며, 네이버 클라우드 플랫폼 입점을 통해 SaaS 기반 서비스 확장도 준비 중이다.
투자금은 영국 등 주요 해외 거점에 현지 법인을 설립하고, 글로벌 시장 진출을 위한 세일즈 및 마케팅 역량 강화, 핵심 인력 확보에 우선 투입될 예정이다. 또한 금융, 공공, 의료 분야별 맞춤형 AI 에이전트 모델 개발과 데이터 생성부터 검증, 거래, 활용까지 아우르는 통합 데이터 생태계 플랫폼 구축에 집중한다는 계획이다.
