클라우드 SIEM 전문기업 로그프레소(대표 양봉열)는 일본 시장 내 사업 확장을 위해 토미 마츠모토(Tommy Matsumoto) 전 AT&T 재팬 부사장을 고문으로 영입했다고 18일 밝혔다.
마츠모토 고문은 일본 통신 및 인터넷 산업 발전에 기여한 인물로, AT&T 재팬 재직 당시 일본 내 인터넷 상용화에 관여한 바 있다. 또한 JPNIC(일본 인터넷 정보 센터) 부원장, ICANN(국제인터넷주소관리기구) 자문위원, APNG(아시아-태평양 네트워킹 그룹) 회장 등 국제기구 활동을 통해 글로벌 인터넷 정책과 기술 개발 분야에서 주요 역할을 수행했다.
로그프레소는 마츠모토 고문의 업계 경험과 글로벌 네트워크를 기반으로, 일본 내 대기업 및 MSSP(보안관제 서비스 제공업체)와의 협력을 확대하고 클라우드 기반 보안 솔루션 시장 진입을 가속화할 계획이다.

Cloud SIEM specialist Logpresso (CEO Yang Bong-yeol) announced on the 18th that it has hired former AT&T Japan Vice President Tommy Matsumoto as an advisor to expand its business in the Japanese market.
Advisor Matsumoto has contributed significantly to the development of Japan's telecommunications and internet industries. While at AT&T Japan, he was involved in the commercialization of the internet in Japan. He has also played a key role in global internet policy and technology development through international organizations, including as Vice President of the Japan Internet Information Center (JPNIC), an Advisory Committee Member of ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers), and Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Networking Group (APNG).
Leveraging Advisor Matsumoto's industry experience and global network, Logpresso plans to expand collaborations with major Japanese companies and MSSPs (Managed Security Service Providers) and accelerate its entry into the cloud-based security solutions market.

M. Matsumoto, conseiller de renom, a contribué de manière significative au développement des industries des télécommunications et d'Internet au Japon. Chez AT&T Japon, il a participé à la commercialisation d'Internet dans le pays. Il a également joué un rôle clé dans le développement des politiques et des technologies Internet à l'échelle mondiale, notamment au sein d'organisations internationales. Il a en effet occupé les fonctions de vice-président du Centre japonais d'information sur Internet (JPNIC), de membre du comité consultatif de l'ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) et de président de l'Asia-Pacific Networking Group (APNG).
