미디어 IT 솔루션 기업 곰앤컴퍼니(대표 이병기)는 ‘2025 에듀플러스 어워즈’에서 우수상을 수상했다고 20일 밝혔다.
해당 시상식은 ‘2025 에듀플러스위크 미래교육박람회’의 부대 행사로, 국내 교육산업 발전과 우수 교육 기업 발굴을 목표로 마련됐다. 교육적 효과성, 혁신성, 활용성, 사용자 편의성, 정보보호 신뢰성, 지속 가능성 등 다양한 항목에 대한 전문가 및 현직 교사 평가를 거쳐 수상 기업이 선정됐다.
곰앤컴퍼니는 영상 편집, 화면 녹화, 재생 기능을 통합 제공하는 ‘곰믹스’, 이미지 편집 도구 ‘곰픽’ 등 교육용 미디어 제작 소프트웨어를 공급하고 있다. 현재 전국 초·중·고등학교 및 대학교를 포함해 7,000여 개 이상의 교육기관, 약 5,000개 기업 및 공공기관에서 관련 소프트웨어가 활용되고 있다.
수상 배경에는 ‘곰믹스’의 교육 효과성이 주요 평가 요인으로 작용했다. 실제 광주 소재 초등학교에서 실시한 사례에 따르면, 해당 소프트웨어를 활용한 수업이 기존 교과서 중심 수업 대비 약 4배 높은 만족도를 기록했으며, 학생 응답자 중 84%가 프로그램 활용에 만족한다고 평가한 바 있다.
곰믹스는 영상 제작 경험이 없는 사용자도 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 2,000여 개의 템플릿을 제공하며, 저사양 환경에서도 안정적으로 작동하도록 설계된 것이 특징이다. AI 기술을 기반으로 영상 제작 시간을 줄일 수 있는 기능도 지속적으로 고도화 중이다.
또한 곰픽은 공인 자격시험인 ‘디지털정보활용능력’의 공식 수검 프로그램으로 지정되어 교육 현장에서 실습 도구로 활용되고 있다.
곰앤컴퍼니 관계자는 “이번 수상을 통해 교육 현장에서의 실용성과 기술적 완성도를 모두 인정받게 됐다”며, “앞으로도 디지털 리터러시 향상과 미래 교육 환경에 기여할 수 있도록 제품 기능 고도화 및 글로벌 교육시장 진출을 지속해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Gommix offers over 2,000 templates, making it accessible even to users without video production experience. It's designed to operate reliably even on low-spec environments. Its AI-based features, which reduce video production time, are also continuously being improved.
In addition, Gompic has been designated as an official examination program for the 'Digital Information Utilization Ability' certification exam and is being used as a practical tool in educational settings.
