AI 기반 제조 지능화 솔루션 전문기업 피아이이(공동대표 최정일, 김현준)가 산업통상자원부와 한국산업기술기획평가원(KEIT)이 주관하는 ‘AI 팩토리 전문기업’에 최종 선정됐다고 21일 밝혔다.
‘AI 팩토리 전문기업’ 인증은 AI 자율 제조 기술을 개발하고 공급하는 기업을 발굴·육성하기 위한 제도로, 스마트 제조 생태계 확산을 목적으로 도입됐다. 올해부터는 기존의 대규모 제조업뿐만 아니라 소규모 제조 현장, 프랜차이즈, 유통·물류 분야까지 인증 적용 대상이 확대됐다.
피아이이는 제조업 전반의 디지털 전환을 위한 AI 기반 비전검사 시스템, 데이터 기반 스마트팩토리 솔루션, AI 에이전트 및 초음파 검사 기술 등을 제공하며, 다양한 산업군에서 제조 지능화를 지원하고 있다. 이번 인증에서는 AI 자율 제조 기술의 완성도, 공급 실적, 산업 내 신뢰도 및 성장 가능성 등에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
특히 비파괴 검사(NDT) 분야의 차세대 기술 개발을 포함해, 반도체, 이차전지, 오토모티브, 의료, 물류 등 다양한 산업에 적용 가능한 솔루션 포트폴리오를 보유하고 있으며, ‘AI+X(산업 융합)’ 전략을 통해 기술 확장성과 시장 적용력을 강화하고 있다.
피아이이는 지난 5월, 제2판교테크노밸리에 ‘PIE AI R&D Campus’를 설립하고, 고도화된 AI 기술 개발과 전문 인력 양성에 집중하고 있다. 자회사인 산업용 AI 전문기업 ‘아하랩스’ 역시 이번 AI 팩토리 전문기업에 함께 선정되며, 양사 간 기술적 시너지도 기대된다.
최정일 피아이이 공동대표는 “이번 선정은 피아이이가 보유한 기술력과 산업적 파급력을 공식적으로 인정받은 결과”라며 “앞으로 다양한 첨단 산업군에 AI 자율제조 기술을 적극 도입하고, 지속 가능한 스마트 제조 생태계 구축에 기여하겠다”고 밝혔다.

PII Selected as an "AI Factory Specialist"
PIIE (Co-CEOs Jeong-il Choi and Hyeon-jun Kim) , a company specializing in AI-based manufacturing intelligence solutions, announced on the 21st that it was finally selected as an 'AI Factory Specialized Company' hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology Evaluation and Planning (KEIT).
The "AI Factory Specialist" certification system is designed to discover and foster companies developing and supplying AI autonomous manufacturing technologies. It was introduced with the goal of expanding the smart manufacturing ecosystem. Starting this year, certification has expanded beyond existing large-scale manufacturing to include small-scale manufacturing sites, franchises, and the distribution and logistics sectors.
PiI provides AI-based vision inspection systems, data-driven smart factory solutions, AI agents, and ultrasonic inspection technologies for the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry, supporting manufacturing intelligence across various industries. This certification recognized its completeness, supply performance, industry reliability, and growth potential.
In particular, it possesses a solution portfolio applicable to various industries such as semiconductors, secondary batteries, automotive, medical, and logistics, including the development of next-generation technologies in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT), and is strengthening technological scalability and market applicability through the 'AI+X (industry convergence)' strategy.
Last May, PIE established the "PIE AI R&D Campus" in Pangyo Techno Valley 2 and is focusing on developing advanced AI technologies and fostering specialized talent. Its subsidiary, industrial AI specialist Aha Labs, was also selected as a specialized AI factory company, and technological synergy between the two companies is expected.
Choi Jeong-il, co-CEO of PIIE, said, “This selection is an official recognition of PIIE’s technological prowess and industrial impact,” and added, “We will actively introduce AI autonomous manufacturing technology to various cutting-edge industries and contribute to building a sustainable smart manufacturing ecosystem.”

特に非破壊検査(NDT)分野の次世代技術開発を含め、半導体、二次電池、オートモチーフ、医療、物流など多様な産業に適用可能なソリューションポートフォリオを保有しており、「AI+X(産業融合)」戦略を通じて技術拡張性と市場適用力を強化している。
ピアイは5月、第2版橋テクノバレーに「PIE AI R&D Campus」を設立し、高度化されたAI技術開発と専門人材養成に集中している。子会社である産業用AI専門企業「アハラプス」も今回のAIファクトリー専門企業に共に選定され、両社間の技術的相乗効果も期待される。

“AI工厂专家”认证体系旨在发现和扶持开发和供应AI自主制造技术的公司。该体系的推出旨在拓展智能制造生态系统。从今年开始，认证范围已从现有的大型制造企业扩展到小型制造工厂、特许经营企业以及分销和物流领域。
PiI提供基于人工智能的视觉检测系统、数据驱动的智能工厂解决方案、人工智能代理和超声波检测技术，助力制造业数字化转型，支持各行业的制造智能化发展。此次认证认可了其产品的完整性、供应能力、行业可靠性和增长潜力。

PII sélectionné comme « spécialiste de l'usine d'IA »
PIIE (co-PDG Jeong-il Choi et Hyeon-jun Kim) , une entreprise spécialisée dans les solutions d'intelligence de fabrication basées sur l'IA, a annoncé le 21 qu'elle avait finalement été sélectionnée comme « entreprise spécialisée dans les usines d'IA » par le ministère du Commerce, de l'Industrie et de l'Énergie et l'Institut coréen d'évaluation et de planification des technologies industrielles (KEIT).
Le système de certification « Spécialiste de l'usine IA » vise à identifier et à accompagner les entreprises qui développent et fournissent des technologies de fabrication autonome basées sur l'IA. Il a été mis en place dans le but d'étendre l'écosystème de l'industrie intelligente. Depuis cette année, la certification s'étend au-delà des grandes unités de production existantes pour inclure les petites unités de production, les franchises, ainsi que les secteurs de la distribution et de la logistique.
PiI propose des systèmes d'inspection visuelle basés sur l'IA, des solutions d'usine intelligente pilotées par les données, des agents IA et des technologies d'inspection ultrasonique pour la transformation numérique du secteur manufacturier, favorisant ainsi l'intelligence de production dans divers secteurs. Cette certification atteste de son exhaustivité, de la performance de ses approvisionnements, de sa fiabilité sectorielle et de son potentiel de croissance.
Elle possède notamment un portefeuille de solutions applicables à diverses industries telles que les semi-conducteurs, les batteries secondaires, l'automobile, le médical et la logistique, y compris le développement de technologies de nouvelle génération dans le domaine des essais non destructifs (END), et renforce l'évolutivité technologique et l'applicabilité au marché grâce à la stratégie « AI+X (convergence industrielle) ».
En mai dernier, PIE a inauguré le « Campus de R&D en IA de PIE » à Pangyo Techno Valley 2, axé sur le développement de technologies d'IA avancées et la formation de talents spécialisés. Sa filiale, Aha Labs, spécialiste de l'IA industrielle, a également été sélectionnée comme entreprise spécialisée dans la fabrication d'IA, et une synergie technologique entre les deux sociétés est attendue.
