신기술 소재기업 아이엘이 국제 인증기관 URS(United Registrar of Systems)로부터 자동차 산업 품질경영시스템 ‘IATF 16949:2016’ 인증을 취득했다고 22일 밝혔다.
IATF 16949는 글로벌 주요 자동차 제조사가 요구하는 최고 수준의 품질 기준으로, 해당 인증을 획득한 기업은 글로벌 자동차 공급망 진입 자격을 갖추게 된다. 이번 인증을 통해 아이엘은 품질관리, 생산능력, 납품 신뢰성 등에서 엄격한 기준을 충족했음을 입증했다.
아이엘의 신기술 실리콘렌즈는 이번 인증을 기반으로 글로벌 자동차 제조사들의 램프 부품 핵심 소재로 사용될 예정이다. 이는 회사의 제조 역량이 글로벌 완성차 공급망 진입의 핵심 요건을 공식적으로 인정받았음을 의미하며, 신규 수주 확대와 글로벌 매출 비중 증가에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대된다.
