글로벌 협동로봇(Cobot) 전문 기업 유니버설 로봇(Universal Robots)이 북유럽 자동화 기업 테크니콘(Technicon)과 제약 산업을 위한 공인 솔루션 제공 파트너(Certified Solution Partner, 이하 CSP) 계약을 체결했다고 2일 밝혔다.
테크니콘은 2019년부터 유니버설 로봇의 유통 및 통합 파트너로 협력해 온 엔지니어링 기업으로, 사용자 맞춤형 자동화 솔루션을 자체 설계·개발·제조하고 있다. 이번 CSP 계약을 통해 테크니콘은 유니버설 로봇의 협동로봇 기술을 기반으로 한 제약 산업 특화 자동화 솔루션을 공식 제공하게 된다.
유니버설 로봇은 테크니콘이 제약 산업의 복잡한 요구사항에 적합한 설계와 기술 역량을 갖춘 파트너로 평가하고 있으며, 이번 협약을 통해 생명과학 분야 전반의 생산 효율성과 품질 향상을 위한 공동 사업 확대를 기대하고 있다. 테크니콘은 그간 충전 공정, 최종 조립라인, 실험실 품질관리, 포장 자동화 등 다양한 제약 분야 과제 해결에 협동로봇을 적용해왔다.

Universal Robots Partners with Technikon
Universal Robots, a global collaborative robot (cobot) specialist, announced on the 2nd that it has signed a Certified Solution Partner (CSP) agreement with Technicon, a Nordic automation company, for the pharmaceutical industry.
Technikon, an engineering company that has been a distribution and integration partner for Universal Robots since 2019, designs, develops, and manufactures customized automation solutions. Through this CSP agreement, Technikon will officially provide automation solutions specifically for the pharmaceutical industry, based on Universal Robots' collaborative robot technology.
Universal Robots recognizes Technikon as a partner with design and technological capabilities suited to the complex demands of the pharmaceutical industry. Through this agreement, Universal Robots anticipates expanding their joint efforts to improve production efficiency and quality across the life sciences sector. Technikon has been applying collaborative robots to solve a variety of pharmaceutical challenges, including filling processes, final assembly lines, laboratory quality control, and packaging automation.
