응급 상황 대응 헬스케어 스타트업 위코멧(대표 이정훈)은 한국프로농구연맹(KBL)과 함께 프로농구 선수단 및 구단 구성원의 안전 강화를 위한 자동심장충격기(AED) 지원 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 22일 밝혔다.
이번 협약에 따라 위코멧은 KBL과 산하 10개 구단에 자동심장충격기 ‘라이프팩 CR2 AED(LIFEPAK CR2 AED)’ 총 22대를 공급한다. 이 장비는 각 구단의 훈련장과 선수단 전용 버스에 설치돼, 경기 중이나 이동 중 발생할 수 있는 응급 상황에 대비할 예정이다.
이와 함께 선수단 및 구단 구성원을 대상으로 심폐소생술(CPR) 교육도 진행한다. 이를 통해 현장에서 위급한 상황이 발생했을 때 즉각적인 대응이 가능하도록 지원할 계획이다.
라이프팩 CR2 AED는 cprINSIGHT 기술을 적용해 심폐소생술 중에도 실시간으로 심전도 분석이 가능하며, 직관적인 그래픽과 음성 안내 기능을 통해 사용자 편의성과 정확성을 높였다. 특히 클리어보이스(ClearVoice) 기능은 소음이 많은 경기장 환경에서도 자동으로 음성 볼륨을 조절해 안정적인 사용이 가능하다.
위코멧은 현재 긴급의료센터, 소방청, 대한적십자사, 대학병원, 교육기관, 민간기업 등에 응급의료기기를 공급하고 있으며, CPR 교육용 마네킹 ‘브레이든’을 활용한 안전 교육 프로그램을 통해 지금까지 누적 약 2만 5천 명에게 교육을 진행한 바 있다.
KBL 관계자는 “선수단과 팬 모두의 안전 확보는 프로농구 현장에서 최우선 과제”라며 “이번 협약을 통해 경기장 및 훈련 환경의 응급 대응 체계를 더욱 강화할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
위코멧 이정훈 대표는 “심정지와 같은 응급 상황에서는 초기 대응이 생명을 좌우한다”며 “KBL과의 협력을 통해 프로 스포츠 현장에서 안전 의식을 제고하고, 사회 전반에 안전 문화가 확산되는 데 기여하겠다”고 말했다.

Wecomet Signs Business Agreement with the Korea Basketball League
Emergency response healthcare startup Wecomet (CEO Lee Jeong-hoon) announced on the 22nd that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Basketball League (KBL) to provide automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to enhance the safety of professional basketball players and team members.
Under this agreement, Wicomet will supply a total of 22 LIFEPAK CR2 AEDs to the KBL and its 10 affiliated clubs. These devices will be installed at each club's training facility and on team buses, ensuring they are ready for emergencies that may arise during games or while on the move.
Additionally, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training will be provided to players and club members. This will enable them to respond immediately in the event of an emergency on-site.
The LifePak CR2 AED utilizes cprINSIGHT technology, enabling real-time electrocardiogram analysis even during CPR. Its intuitive graphics and voice guidance enhance user convenience and accuracy. In particular, the ClearVoice feature automatically adjusts voice volume, ensuring reliable operation even in noisy stadium environments.
Wecomet currently supplies emergency medical equipment to emergency medical centers, fire departments, the Korean Red Cross, university hospitals, educational institutions, and private companies, and has provided training to approximately 25,000 people through safety education programs utilizing the CPR training mannequin 'Brayden'.
A KBL official stated, “Ensuring the safety of both players and fans is the top priority in professional basketball,” and “Through this agreement, we will further strengthen the emergency response system in the stadium and training environment.”
“In emergency situations like cardiac arrest, initial response can determine life,” said Lee Jeong-hoon, CEO of Wicomet. “Through our collaboration with KBL, we will contribute to raising safety awareness in professional sports settings and spreading a safety culture throughout society.”

ウィコメットは現在、緊急医療センター、消防庁、大韓赤十字社、大学病院、教育機関、民間企業などに緊急医療機器を供給しており、CPR教育用マネキン「ブレーデン」を活用した安全教育プログラムを通じて、これまで累積約2万5千人に教育を進めている。
KBL関係者は「選手団とファンの両方の安全確保はプロバスケットボール現場で最優先課題」とし「今回の協約を通じて競技場および訓練環境の緊急対応体系をさらに強化する」と明らかにした。

La startup Wecomet (PDG Lee Jeong-hoon), spécialisée dans les soins de santé d'urgence, a annoncé le 22 avoir signé un protocole d'accord avec la Ligue coréenne de basketball (KBL) pour fournir des défibrillateurs externes automatisés (DEA) afin d'améliorer la sécurité des joueurs de basketball professionnels et des membres de l'équipe.
