API 보안 및 관리 전문기업 위베어소프트(대표 장영휘)는 중소벤처기업부가 총괄하고 경기창조경제혁신센터가 주관하는 ‘2025 창업도약패키지(딥테크 분야)’ 창업기업 모집에 최종 선정되어 협약을 완료했다고 13일 밝혔다.
‘창업도약패키지’는 기술 기반 스타트업의 성장을 지원하기 위한 정부 지원 사업으로, 특히 딥테크 분야는 고난도 원천기술을 보유한 기업의 사업화와 시장 진출을 중점적으로 지원한다.
위베어소프트는 자체 개발한 API 관리 솔루션 ‘OSORI APIM’을 중심으로 공공 및 민간 영역의 데이터 통합·관리 기술을 보유하고 있으며, 이번 선정은 해당 기술의 차별성과 시장 확장 가능성을 인정받은 결과로 평가된다.
회사 측에 따르면, OSORI APIM은 AI 산업을 포함한 다양한 분야에서 핵심 인프라 역할을 수행 중이며, 기업들이 자사 데이터를 안정적으로 API화하고 외부와 연동할 수 있도록 지원함으로써 데이터 기반 생태계 구축에 기여하고 있다.
이번 협약을 통해 위베어소프트는 ▲딥테크 기술 고도화 ▲API 생태계 확장 ▲데이터 기반 플랫폼 사업화 전략 수립 등 다양한 지원을 받을 예정이다. 이를 바탕으로 국내외 시장 경쟁력 확보에 나선다는 계획이다.
한편, 위베어소프트는 2021년 티맥스소프트 출신 연구진이 설립한 미들웨어 전문 기업으로, 과학기술정보통신부 데이터바우처 공급기업 선정, 중소벤처기업부 TIPS 과제 선정, KB스타터스 싱가포르 프로그램 참여 등 다수의 정부 및 민간 지원 사업을 통해 성장세를 이어가고 있다.

Through this agreement, Webearsoft will receive support in a variety of areas, including: advancing deep tech technology, expanding its API ecosystem, and establishing a data-driven platform commercialization strategy. Based on this support, Webearsoft plans to secure competitiveness in domestic and international markets.
Meanwhile, WebearSoft, a middleware company founded in 2021 by researchers from TmaxSoft, continues to grow through numerous government and private support projects, including being selected as a data voucher supplier by the Ministry of Science and ICT, being selected for the TIPS project by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and participating in the KB Starters Singapore program.
