클라우드 기반 엔지니어링 시뮬레이션 솔루션 전문기업 ‘㈜에브리심’(대표 이석근)이 글로벌 항공우주 액셀러레이터 ‘스타버스트(Starburst)’와 전략적 업무협약(MOU)을 체결하고, 일본 시장 진출에 본격 나선다고 13일 밝혔다.
에브리심은 항공우주산학융합원이 주관하는 2025 UAM Global Challenge Program 참여기업으로 선정되며 스타버스트와 인연을 맺게 됐다. 이번 협력을 통해 에브리심은 스타버스트 지원을 받으며 글로벌 항공우주 산업 생태계로 진입을 가속화할 계획이다.
스타버스트는 2012년 프랑스에서 설립된 세계 최초/유일 글로벌 항공우주·방산 전문 액셀러레이터다. 로스앤젤레스, 파리, 뮌헨, 싱가포르, 서울, 텔아비브, 마드리드, 워싱턴 D.C. 등 전 세계 각국 주요 도시에 거점을 두고 있으며, 보잉, 에어버스, NASA, 록히드마틴 등 60여 개 기업 및 정부 기관과 파트너십을 맺고 있다. 지금까지 500여 개 스타트업을 육성했으며, 2개 유니콘 기업과 1개 IPO 기업을 배출하는 등 탁월한 성과를 거두고 있다.
특히 이번 협력의 핵심은 일본 시장 진출이다. 에브리심은 스타버스트의 지원을 받아 9월 24일부터 25일까지 일본 나고야 포트메세에서 개최된 ‘드론 서밋 2025(Drone Summit 2025)’에 참가했다. 드론 서밋은 일본 아이치현 정부와 일본 경제산업성(METI), 국토교통성(MLIT)이 공동 주최하는 일본 내 차세대 항공 모빌리티 분야 최대 규모 박람회로, 일본 항공우주 산업 클러스터 중심지인 아이치현에서 개최되어 자동차·항공 산업 관계자들이 대거 참석하는 것으로 알려져 있다.
양사는 이번 박람회 현장에서 MOU를 체결하며 협력 관계를 공식화했다. 에브리심은 박람회 참가를 통해 스타버스트 연계 일본 바이어들을 만나 클라우드 기반 시뮬레이션 솔루션을 선보이고, 일본 내 드론 및 UAM(도심항공교통) 업체들과 협력 기회를 모색했다. 특히 일본은 드론과 UAM 분야에서 정부 주도의 적극적인 육성 정책을 펼치고 있어, 에브리심의 기술력을 선보이기에 최적의 시장으로 평가받고 있다.
스타버스트 코리아는 국내 김상돈 대표가 직접 총괄하며 한국 항공우주 스타트업들의 글로벌 진출을 지원하고 있다. 김 대표는 항공우주 분야에서 약 30년간 경력을 쌓은 전문가로, 국내 항공우주 스타트업 생태계 구축에 힘쓰고 있다. 스타버스트 코리아는 현재 데이터베이스에 200여 개의 한국 스타트업 정보를 보유, 이 중 2~3개 기업과 계약을 앞두고 있는 것으로 알려졌다.
이번 협약을 주도한 스타버스트 안창균 책임연구원은 “에브리심의 클라우드 기반 시뮬레이션 기술은 드론과 UAM 산업에서 필수적인 설계 검증 솔루션”이라며 “스타버스트 글로벌 네트워크를 활용해 에브리심이 일본을 시작으로 아시아 전역에서 사업을 확장할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
이석근 에브리심 대표는 “UAM Global Challenge Program 참여로 스타버스트라는 든든한 파트너를 만나 기쁘게 생각한다”며, “일본 드론 서밋 참가는 이번 아시아 시장 진출 전략에 있어 중요한 첫걸음이 될 것”이라고 강조했다. 이어 “스타버스트 액셀러레이팅 프로그램을 통해 글로벌 항공우주 기업들과의 협력 기회를 확보하고, 나아가 투자 유치까지 연계할 수 있기를 기대한다”고 덧붙였다.
Everysim Signs Strategic MOU with Starburst
Everysim Co., Ltd. (CEO Seok-geun Lee), a cloud-based engineering simulation solution specialist, announced on the 13th that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with global aerospace accelerator Starburst and is making a full-scale entry into the Japanese market.
Everysim was selected to participate in the 2025 UAM Global Challenge Program, hosted by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), and has since partnered with Starburst. Through this collaboration, Everysim plans to accelerate its entry into the global aerospace industry ecosystem with support from Starburst.
Founded in France in 2012, Starburst is the world's first and only global aerospace and defense accelerator. With offices in major cities around the world, including Los Angeles, Paris, Munich, Singapore, Seoul, Tel Aviv, Madrid, and Washington, D.C., Starburst partners with over 60 companies and government agencies, including Boeing, Airbus, NASA, and Lockheed Martin. To date, Starburst has fostered over 500 startups, achieving outstanding results, including two unicorns and one IPO.
A key focus of this collaboration is entering the Japanese market. With support from Starburst, Everysim participated in the Drone Summit 2025, held at Nagoya Port Messe, Japan, from September 24th to 25th. Hosted jointly by the Aichi Prefectural Government, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), the Drone Summit is Japan's largest exhibition dedicated to next-generation air mobility. Held in Aichi Prefecture, the center of Japan's aerospace industry cluster, the event is known to attract a large number of attendees from the automotive and aviation industries.
The two companies formalized their partnership by signing an MOU at the expo. Through its participation, Everysim met with Japanese buyers affiliated with Starburst, showcased its cloud-based simulation solution, and explored collaboration opportunities with Japanese drone and urban air mobility (UAM) companies. Japan, in particular, is considered an ideal market for Everysim to showcase its technological prowess, given its proactive government-led development policies in the drone and UAM sectors.
Starburst Korea, directly overseen by CEO Kim Sang-don, supports the global expansion of Korean aerospace startups. With approximately 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry, CEO Kim is dedicated to building a strong domestic aerospace startup ecosystem. Starburst Korea currently maintains information on approximately 200 Korean startups in its database and is reportedly close to signing contracts with two or three of them.
“Everysim’s cloud-based simulation technology is an essential design verification solution for the drone and UAM industries,” said Chang-Kyun Ahn, a senior researcher at Starburst who led this agreement. “We will actively support Everysim as it expands its business across Asia, starting with Japan, by leveraging Starburst’s global network.”

エブリシムは航空宇宙産学融合院が主管する2025 UAM Global Challenge Program参加企業に選定され、スターバーストと縁を結ぶことになった。今回の協力を通じて、エブリシムはスターバースト支援を受け、グローバル航空宇宙産業エコシステムへの進入を加速化する計画だ。
スターバーストは2012年にフランスで設立された世界初/唯一のグローバル航空宇宙・防散専門アクセラレーターだ。ロサンゼルス、パリ、ミュンヘン、シンガポール、ソウル、テルアビブ、マドリード、ワシントンDCなど世界各国の主要都市に拠点を置いており、ボーイング、エアバス、NASA、ロッキードマーチンなど60社以上の企業や政府機関とパートナーシップを結んでいる。これまで500社以上のスタートアップを育成し、2つのユニコーン企業と1つのIPO企業を排出するなど、優れた成果を収めている。
特に今回の協力の核心は日本市場進出だ。エブリシムはスターバーストの支援を受け、9月24日から25日まで日本名古屋ポートメッセで開催された「ドローンサミット2025（Drone Summit 2025）」に参加した。ドローンサミットは、日本愛知県政府と日本経済産業省（METI）、国土交通省（MLIT）が共同主催する日本国内次世代航空モビリティ分野最大規模の見本市で、日本航空宇宙産業クラスター中心地である愛知県で開催され、自動車・航空産業関係者が大挙参加することが知られている。
両社は今回の博覧会現場でMOUを締結し、協力関係を公式化した。エブリシムは博覧会参加を通じてスターバースト連携日本バイヤーに会ってクラウドベースのシミュレーションソリューションを披露し、日本内ドローンおよびUAM（都心航空交通）企業と協力機会を模索した。特に日本はドローンとUAM分野で政府主導の積極的な育成政策を展開しており、エブリシムの技術力を披露するのに最適な市場として評価されている。
スターバーストコリアは韓国のキム・サンドン代表が直接総括し、韓国航空宇宙スタートアップのグローバル進出を支援している。金代表は航空宇宙分野で約30年間経歴を積んだ専門家で、国内航空宇宙スタートアップエコシステム構築に取り組んでいる。スターバーストコリアは現在、データベースに200以上の韓国スタートアップ情報を保有し、このうち2～3社と契約を控えていることが分かった。
今回の協約を主導したスターバーストアンチャンギュン責任研究院は「エブリシムのクラウドベースのシミュレーション技術はドローンとUAM産業で必須の設計検証ソリューション」とし「スターバーストグローバルネットワークを活用して、エブリシムが日本を皮切りにアジア全域で事業を拡大できるように積極的に支援する」と話した。
イ・ソクグン・エブリシム代表は「UAM Global Challenge Program参加でスターバーストという心強いパートナーに会って嬉しく思う」とし、「日本ドローンサミット参加は今回のアジア市場進出戦略にとって重要な第一歩になるだろう」と強調した。続いて「スターバーストアクセラレーティングプログラムを通じてグローバル航空宇宙企業との協力機会を確保し、さらに投資誘致まで連携できることを期待する」と付け加えた。
