AI·소프트웨어 에듀테크 전문기업 구름(대표 류성태)이 과학기술정보통신부의 국가 공인 클라우드 보안 인증 제도인 CSAP(Cloud Security Assurance Program)에서 SaaS(서비스형 소프트웨어) 표준등급 인증을 취득했다고 14일 밝혔다. 이를 통해 구름은 공공기관 대상 클라우드 서비스 제공 자격을 확보하며 공공 시장 진출을 위한 기반을 마련했다.
CSAP는 공공기관이 민간 클라우드 서비스를 안전하게 도입할 수 있도록 마련된 인증 제도로, 해당 인증 없이 공공기관 대상 클라우드 서비스 제안 및 공급은 불가능하다. 인증 평가 항목에는 ▲물리적·기술적 보안 ▲운영 관리 및 재해복구 ▲개인정보 보호 ▲서비스 가용성 등이 포함되며, 다단계의 엄격한 심사를 거쳐야 한다.
구름은 이번 인증을 통해 공공기관 대상 사업 참여 범위를 확대하는 한편, 자사의 클라우드 기반 소프트웨어 교육 플랫폼이 보안성과 안정성 측면에서도 경쟁력을 갖췄음을 대외적으로 입증했다. 또한 영업자료, 제안서, 홍보 콘텐츠 등 다양한 세일즈 활동에서 공신력 있는 인증으로 활용될 예정이다.
