드레이퍼 스타트업 하우스 코리아(대표 이세용)는 지난 24일 ㈜제이엔피글로벌(대표 박지환)과 전략적 업무협약(MOU)을 체결하고, 기술 기반 스타트업의 글로벌 확장을 위한 공동 협력 체계를 구축했다고 29일 밝혔다.
드레이퍼 스타트업 하우스는 미국 실리콘밸리의 벤처 투자자 팀 드레이퍼(Tim Draper)가 설립한 글로벌 액셀러레이터로, 전 세계 35개 도시에 오피스를 운영하고 있다. 지금까지 약 30개 유니콘 기업을 배출했으며, 2024년 12월 서울 가로수길에 한국 지사를 개소해 창업 보육, 글로벌 진출, 투자 연계 등 다양한 지원 프로그램을 운영 중이다.
㈜제이엔피글로벌은 2013년 설립된 액셀러레이터로, 대전 청년창업사관학교 운영사이자 대덕특구의 연구기관 및 과학기술특성화대학과의 연계를 통해 기술 기반 스타트업 지원 역량을 갖추고 있다.
양측은 이번 협약을 통해 ▲글로벌 진출 스타트업 펀드 조성 ▲글로벌 투자 유치 연계 ▲국내외 공동 데모데이 개최 ▲보육 인프라 확장 등 구체적인 협력 사업을 추진할 예정이다.
제이엔피글로벌은 ‘기술기반 스타트업 배치 프로그램’을 운영해 기업 발굴부터 투자, TIPS(민간투자주도형 기술창업지원) 선정, 후속 성장 지원까지 이어지는 전주기 지원 체계를 마련할 계획이다. 또한 혁신 주체 간 네트워크를 중심으로 글로벌 시장 진출을 위한 실질적 지원 방안을 확대할 방침이다.
양사는 이번 협약을 통해 기술력과 성장 잠재력을 갖춘 스타트업을 대상으로 ‘원스톱 인큐베이션 서비스(One-Stop Incubation Service)’ 모델을 공동 구축하고, 글로벌 시장 진입을 위한 맞춤형 지원을 강화하기로 했다.
이세용 드레이퍼 스타트업 하우스 코리아 대표는 “드레이퍼 네트워크를 기반으로 한국 스타트업의 글로벌 확장을 가속화하겠다”고 말했다.
박지환 제이엔피글로벌 대표는 “지역 스타트업의 글로벌 진출을 지원하고, 기술기반 스타트업의 성장 생태계를 전국으로 확장하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Draper Startup House Korea (CEO Se-Yong Lee) announced on the 29th that it signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with JNP Global (CEO Ji-Hwan Park) on the 24th and established a joint cooperation system for the global expansion of technology-based startups.
Draper Startup House, a global accelerator founded by Silicon Valley venture capitalist Tim Draper, operates offices in 35 cities worldwide. To date, it has produced approximately 30 unicorn companies and will open a Korean branch in Garosu-gil, Seoul, in December 2024, offering a variety of support programs, including startup incubation, global expansion, and investment linkages.
JNP Global, founded in 2013, is an accelerator that operates the Daejeon Youth Entrepreneurship Academy and has the capacity to support technology-based startups through collaborations with research institutes and science and technology specialized universities in the Daedeok Innopolis.
Through this agreement, both parties plan to pursue specific cooperative projects, including ▲establishing a global expansion startup fund, ▲connecting with global investment attraction, ▲holding joint demo days at home and abroad, and ▲expanding childcare infrastructure.
JNP Global plans to operate a "Technology-Based Startup Placement Program" to establish a full-cycle support system encompassing everything from company discovery and investment, to TIPS (Tele-Innovation-Driven Technology Startup Support) selection, and subsequent growth support. Furthermore, the organization plans to expand practical support measures for global market entry, focusing on networks among innovative entities.
Through this agreement, the two companies will jointly establish a "One-Stop Incubation Service" model for startups with technological prowess and growth potential, and strengthen customized support for entering the global market.
“We will accelerate the global expansion of Korean startups based on the Draper network,” said Lee Se-yong, CEO of Draper Startup House Korea.
Park Ji-hwan, CEO of JNP Global, said, “We will support the global expansion of local startups and expand the growth ecosystem of technology-based startups nationwide.”

L'organisation prévoit également de développer des mesures d'accompagnement concrètes pour faciliter l'entrée sur les marchés internationaux, en s'appuyant sur les réseaux d'acteurs innovants.
Grâce à cet accord, les deux entreprises mettront conjointement en place un modèle de « service d'incubation à guichet unique » pour les startups dotées d'un savoir-faire technologique et d'un fort potentiel de croissance, et renforceront l'accompagnement personnalisé pour leur entrée sur le marché mondial.
« Nous allons accélérer l’expansion mondiale des startups coréennes grâce au réseau Draper », a déclaré Lee Se-yong, PDG de Draper Startup House Korea.
Park Ji-hwan, PDG de JNP Global, a déclaré : « Nous soutiendrons l'expansion mondiale des startups locales et développerons l'écosystème de croissance des startups technologiques à l'échelle nationale. »
