엘앤에프는 장성균 최고생산책임자(CPO)가 10월 30일 서울 조선팰리스에서 열린 ‘제5회 배터리 산업의 날’ 기념식에서 배터리 산업 발전 유공자로 선정돼 정부 산업포장을 수훈했다고 31일 밝혔다.
‘배터리 산업의 날’은 산업통상자원부가 주최하고 한국배터리산업협회가 주관하는 행사로, 배터리 산업의 성과와 발전에 기여한 관계자들의 공로를 기리기 위해 제정됐다. 올해 행사에는 산업부 관계자와 배터리 산업 주요 기업 관계자 등 약 250명이 참석했다.
이번 수훈은 장성균 CPO가 국가 배터리 산업 경쟁력의 핵심인 양극활물질 개발 및 소재 국산화에 기여한 공로를 인정받은 결과다.
장 CPO는 재임 기간 동안 차세대 양극재 기술 개발과 양산 체계 구축을 주도하며 엘앤에프의 글로벌 경쟁력 강화를 이끌었다. 특히 니켈 함량 95%의 울트라 하이니켈 NCMA 양극재를 개발해 2025년 3월 양산에 성공, 생산능력(CAPA)을 200% 향상시키는 등 성과를 거뒀다. 또한 차세대 고밀도 LFP 양극재 시제품 생산에도 성공해 기술 포트폴리오를 확대했다.
장성균 CPO는 “국가 핵심 산업인 배터리 분야에서 기여를 인정받게 되어 영광스럽다”며 “이번 수훈은 엘앤에프 임직원 모두의 노력의 결실로, 앞으로도 기술 혁신과 품질 개선을 통해 K-배터리의 글로벌 경쟁력 강화에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
엘앤에프 관계자는 “이번 산업포장은 엘앤에프의 기술개발 역량과 성과가 공적으로 인정받은 사례”라며 “차세대 양극재 기술 고도화와 생산 효율성 강화를 통해 글로벌 배터리 소재 시장을 선도해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

L&F CPO Jang Sung-kyun receives an industrial medal at the 5th Battery Industry Day.
L&F announced on the 31st that its Chief Production Officer (CPO) Jang Seong-gyun was awarded the government's Industrial Service Medal for his contribution to the development of the battery industry at the '5th Battery Industry Day' ceremony held at the Chosun Palace in Seoul on October 30th.
"Battery Industry Day," hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Battery Industry Association, was established to honor the contributions of those who have contributed to the achievements and development of the battery industry. This year's event was attended by approximately 250 people, including officials from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and representatives from major battery industry companies.
This award is in recognition of CPO Jang Seong-gyun's contributions to the development of cathode active materials and the localization of materials, which are key to the competitiveness of the national battery industry.
During his tenure, CPO Jang spearheaded the development of next-generation cathode material technology and the establishment of a mass production system, thereby strengthening L&F's global competitiveness. Notably, he developed an ultra-high-nickel NCMA cathode material with a nickel content of 95%, successfully launching mass production in March 2025 and achieving a 200% increase in production capacity. He also successfully produced a prototype of a next-generation, high-density LFP cathode material, expanding L&F's technology portfolio.
CPO Jang Seong-gyun said, “We are honored to be recognized for our contributions in the battery sector, a key national industry,” and added, “This award is the result of the efforts of all L&F executives and employees, and we will continue to strive to strengthen K-Battery’s global competitiveness through technological innovation and quality improvement.”
An L&F official stated, “This industrial packaging is a case in which L&F’s technological development capabilities and achievements have been publicly recognized,” and added, “We will lead the global battery materials market by advancing next-generation cathode material technology and enhancing production efficiency.”

「バッテリー産業の日」は、産業通商資源部が主催し、韓国バッテリー産業協会が主管する行事で、バッテリー産業の成果と発展に寄与した関係者の功労を称えるために制定された。今年のイベントには産業部関係者とバッテリー産業主要企業関係者など約250人が参加した。
今回のスフンはチャン・ソンギュンCPOが国家バッテリー産業競争力の核心である陽極活物質の開発及び素材の国産化に寄与した功労を認められた結果だ。
張CPOは在任期間中、次世代の陽極材技術の開発と量産体系の構築を主導し、エルアンフのグローバル競争力強化を導いた。特にニッケル含有量95%のウルトラハイニッケルNCMA陽極材を開発し、2025年3月量産に成功、生産能力(CAPA)を200%向上させるなど成果を上げた。また、次世代高密度LFP陽極材試製品の生産にも成功し、技術ポートフォリオを拡大した。
チャン・ソンギュンCPOは「国家核心産業であるバッテリー分野での貢献を認められて光栄だ」とし、「今回のスフンはエル・アンフ役職員全員の努力の結実で、今後も技術革新と品質改善を通じてKバッテリーのグローバル競争力強化に努める」と話した。
エルアンフ関係者は「今回の産業包装はエルアンフの技術開発力量と成果が公的に認められた事例」とし「次世代両極材技術の高度化と生産効率性強化を通じてグローバルバッテリー素材市場を先導していく」と明らかにした。

Jang Sung-kyun, directeur des opérations de L&F, reçoit une médaille industrielle lors de la 5e Journée de l'industrie des batteries.
L&F a annoncé le 31 que son directeur de production (CPO), Jang Seong-gyun, avait reçu la médaille du service industriel du gouvernement pour sa contribution au développement de l'industrie des batteries lors de la cérémonie de la « 5e Journée de l'industrie des batteries » qui s'est tenue au palais Chosun à Séoul le 30 octobre.
La « Journée de l'industrie des batteries », organisée par le ministère du Commerce, de l'Industrie et de l'Énergie et l'Association coréenne de l'industrie des batteries, a été créée pour honorer la contribution de ceux qui ont œuvré au développement et aux progrès de ce secteur. Cette année, environ 250 personnes ont participé à l'événement, dont des représentants du ministère du Commerce, de l'Industrie et de l'Énergie et des représentants des principales entreprises du secteur.
Ce prix récompense la contribution du chef de projet Jang Seong-gyun au développement des matériaux actifs de cathode et à la localisation des matériaux, éléments clés de la compétitivité de l'industrie nationale des batteries.
Durant son mandat, le directeur des procédés Jang a piloté le développement de la technologie des matériaux de cathode de nouvelle génération et la mise en place d'un système de production de masse, renforçant ainsi la compétitivité mondiale de L&F. Il a notamment développé un matériau de cathode NCMA à très haute teneur en nickel (95 %), dont la production de masse a été lancée avec succès en mars 2025, permettant une augmentation de 200 % de la capacité de production. Il a également produit avec succès un prototype de matériau de cathode LFP haute densité de nouvelle génération, enrichissant ainsi le portefeuille technologique de L&F.
Le directeur des opérations, Jang Seong-gyun, a déclaré : « Nous sommes honorés d'être reconnus pour notre contribution au secteur des batteries, une industrie nationale clé », et a ajouté : « Ce prix est le fruit des efforts de tous les dirigeants et employés de L&F, et nous continuerons à nous efforcer de renforcer la compétitivité mondiale de K-Battery grâce à l'innovation technologique et à l'amélioration de la qualité. »
Un responsable de L&F a déclaré : « Cet emballage industriel est un exemple de la reconnaissance publique des capacités et des réalisations de L&F en matière de développement technologique », et a ajouté : « Nous dominerons le marché mondial des matériaux pour batteries en faisant progresser la technologie des matériaux de cathode de nouvelle génération et en améliorant l'efficacité de la production. »
