스마트 기기 전문 브랜드 가민(Garmin)이 내년 1월 미국 라스베이거스에서 열리는 가전·IT 전시회 ‘CES 2026’을 앞두고 총 5개 부문에서 ‘CES 혁신상(CES Innovation Awards)’을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
패션 테크 부문 혁신상을 받은 ‘피닉스 8 프로 마이크로LED(fēnix 8 Pro MicroLED)’는 마이크로LED 디스플레이를 탑재한 GPS 멀티스포츠 스마트워치다. 인리치(inReach) 위성·셀룰러 연결 기술과 LTE 기능을 지원해, 야외 활동 중에도 안정적인 통신 환경을 제공한다.
디지털 헬스 부문 수상작 ‘베뉴 4(Venu 4)’는 사용자의 건강 데이터와 라이프스타일을 종합 분석해 맞춤형 운동, 수면 리듬, 스트레스 관리 등 개인화된 웰빙 솔루션을 제공한다. 스포츠 및 피트니스 부문에서는 프리미엄 GPS 러닝 워치 ‘포러너 970(Forerunner 970)’이 선정됐다. 이 제품은 AMOLED 디스플레이, 내장 LED 플래시, 향상된 내비게이션과 회복·훈련 관리 기능을 탑재해 러너와 트라이애슬론 선수의 퍼포먼스를 지원한다.
가민은 수중 기술 분야에서도 존재감을 드러냈다. ‘디센트 S1 다이버 통신 부표(Descent S1 Buoy)’는 수중 환경에서도 다이버 간 위치 정보 공유와 메시지 전송이 가능하도록 설계돼, 해양 안전성을 획기적으로 높였다는 평가를 받으며 스포츠 및 피트니스 부문에서 혁신상을 수상했다.
또한 반려동물 테크 부문에서는 ‘블레이즈 에퀴네 웰니스 시스템(Blaze Equine Wellness System)’이 선정됐다. 말의 꼬리에 부착해 심박수 등 생체 데이터를 실시간으로 모니터링하는 웨어러블 센서다.

Garmin Wins Five Innovation Awards at CES 2026
Smart device specialist brand Garmin announced that it has won the 'CES Innovation Awards' in a total of five categories ahead of the 'CES 2026' home appliance and IT exhibition to be held in Las Vegas, USA in January next year.
The fēnix 8 Pro MicroLED, winner of the Fashion Tech Innovation Award, is a GPS multisport smartwatch featuring a MicroLED display. Featuring inReach satellite and cellular connectivity and LTE capabilities, it provides stable connectivity even during outdoor activities.
The winner in the Digital Health category, the Venu 4, comprehensively analyzes users' health data and lifestyle to provide personalized wellness solutions, including customized exercise, sleep rhythms, and stress management. In the Sports and Fitness category, the Forerunner 970, a premium GPS running watch, was selected. Equipped with an AMOLED display, a built-in LED flash, enhanced navigation, and recovery and training management features, this product supports the performance of runners and triathletes.
Garmin also made a name for itself in underwater technology. The Descent S1 Diver Communication Buoy, designed to enable divers to share location information and send messages underwater, won an Innovation Award in the Sports and Fitness category for its groundbreaking advancements in maritime safety.
Also selected in the pet tech category was the Blaze Equine Wellness System. This wearable sensor attaches to a horse's tail and monitors vital data, including heart rate, in real time.

Garmin, la marque spécialisée dans les appareils intelligents, a annoncé avoir remporté les « CES Innovation Awards » dans cinq catégories au total, avant le salon « CES 2026 » consacré à l'électroménager et aux technologies de l'information qui se tiendra à Las Vegas, aux États-Unis, en janvier prochain.
La fēnix 8 Pro MicroLED, lauréate du Fashion Tech Innovation Award, est une montre connectée multisports GPS dotée d'un écran MicroLED. Grâce à sa connectivité satellite inReach, cellulaire et LTE, elle offre une connexion stable même lors d'activités en extérieur.
Dans la catégorie Santé numérique, la Venu 4 a remporté le prix grâce à une analyse complète des données de santé et du mode de vie des utilisateurs, offrant des solutions de bien-être personnalisées, notamment des programmes d'entraînement, des suivis du sommeil et une gestion du stress adaptés.
