AI 반도체 스타트업 하이퍼엑셀(HyperAccel)이 신용보증기금이 선정한 ‘제14기 혁신아이콘’에 이름을 올렸다고 10일 밝혔다.
신용보증기금의 혁신아이콘 프로그램은 글로벌 혁신기업으로 성장 가능성이 높은 스타트업을 발굴하고 스케일업을 지원하는 제도로, 이번 제14기에는 총 143개 기업이 지원해 약 29:1의 경쟁률을 기록했다. 하이퍼엑셀은 반도체 분야 대표 기업으로 선정됐다.
선정된 하이퍼엑셀은 향후 3년간 최대 200억원 신용보증, 최저보증료율 적용, 협약은행 추가 보증료 지원과 함께 해외 진출, 컨설팅, 홍보 등 다양한 지원을 받게 된다.
하이퍼엑셀은 대규모 언어모델(LLM) 추론에 최적화된 고성능·저전력 AI 반도체(LPU) 기술을 기반으로, 생성형 AI 서비스에 필요한 실시간 응답성과 비용 효율성을 동시에 실현한 점이 높이 평가됐다. 또한 데이터센터, 온프레미스 서버, 엣지 디바이스 등 다양한 환경에서 적용 가능한 확장성과 범용성을 입증하며 AI 반도체 분야 차세대 혁신 기업으로서 성장 잠재력을 인정받았다.
하이퍼엑셀은 LPU 기술을 바탕으로 글로벌 생성형 AI 시장을 겨냥한 제품 포트폴리오를 확대하고 있으며, 2026년 이후 본격적인 칩 양산과 해외 데이터센터 및 클라우드 기업과의 협업을 통해 글로벌 시장 공략을 가속화할 계획이다.

HyperExcel Selected as the 14th Innovation Icon
AI semiconductor startup HyperAccel announced on the 10th that it was named as the '14th Innovation Icon' by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund.
The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund's Innovation Icon Program identifies and supports the scale-up of startups with high potential for growth into global innovative companies. A total of 143 companies applied for the 14th round, resulting in a competition rate of approximately 29:1. HyperExcel was selected as a leading company in the semiconductor sector.
The selected HyperExcel will receive various support, including credit guarantees of up to KRW 20 billion over the next three years, minimum guarantee rate, additional guarantee fee support from partner banks, and support for overseas expansion, consulting, and promotion.
HyperExcel was highly recognized for simultaneously achieving the real-time responsiveness and cost-effectiveness required for generative AI services, based on high-performance, low-power AI semiconductor (LPU) technology optimized for large-scale language model (LLM) inference. Furthermore, it demonstrated scalability and universal applicability across diverse environments, including data centers, on-premises servers, and edge devices, earning recognition for its growth potential as a next-generation innovative company in the AI semiconductor industry.
HyperExcel is expanding its product portfolio targeting the global generative AI market based on LPU technology, and plans to accelerate its global market penetration through full-scale chip mass production and collaboration with overseas data centers and cloud companies after 2026.

La start-up HyperAccel, spécialisée dans les semi-conducteurs et l'intelligence artificielle, a annoncé le 10 avoir été nommée « 14e icône de l'innovation » par le Fonds coréen de garantie de crédit.
Le programme Innovation Icon du Fonds coréen de garantie de crédit vise à identifier et à soutenir le développement de jeunes entreprises à fort potentiel de croissance, susceptibles de devenir des sociétés innovantes d'envergure mondiale. Pour la 14e édition, 143 entreprises ont déposé leur candidature, soit un ratio d'environ 29 candidats pour 1 entreprise sélectionnée. HyperExcel a été retenue comme entreprise leader du secteur des semi-conducteurs.
L'entreprise HyperExcel sélectionnée bénéficiera de divers soutiens, notamment des garanties de crédit pouvant atteindre 20 milliards de wons coréens sur les trois prochaines années, un taux de garantie minimum, une prise en charge supplémentaire des frais de garantie par les banques partenaires, ainsi qu'un soutien à l'expansion à l'étranger, au conseil et à la promotion.
HyperExcel a été saluée pour sa capacité à allier réactivité en temps réel et rentabilité, qualités essentielles aux services d'IA générative, grâce à une technologie de semi-conducteurs IA (LPU) haute performance et basse consommation, optimisée pour l'inférence de modèles de langage à grande échelle (LLM).
