AI(인공지능) 기반 비정형 데이터 자산화 전문기업 퀀텀에이아이(대표 최성집)는 중소벤처기업부의 ‘스케일업 팁스(Scale-up TIPS)’ 프로그램에 최종 선정됐다고 10일 밝혔다. 이번 선정은 퀀텀에이아이가 ‘포스트팁스 최우수 과제’로 인정받은 직후 이뤄졌다.
‘스케일업 팁스’는 유망 기술 기반 스타트업을 선별해 성장 단계별로 지원하는 정부의 대표 프로그램이다. 해당 프로그램은 운영사(VC)가 10억 원 이상을 투자하면 정부가 3년간 최대 12억 원의 연구개발(R&D) 자금과 사업화 자금을 매칭 지원한다.
퀀텀에이아이는 이번 지원을 통해 바이오 시약 유통 전문기업 한국BTB와 협력하여 ‘도메인 특화 경량 언어모델(sLLM) 기반 지능형 논문-시약 검색 및 e-커머스 통합 플랫폼’ 개발을 추진한다. 현재 바이오 연구자들은 논문 검색과 시약 구매를 위해 여러 사이트를 오가며 정보를 수동으로 비교해야 하는 비효율적 환경에 놓여 있다. 퀀텀에이아이는 AI 기술을 활용해 이러한 문제를 해결하고 연구 효율성을 높이겠다는 방침이다.
이번 과제는 퀀텀에이아이의 ‘Data2Vec 통합 자연어처리 엔진’ 기술을 바이오 분야로 확장한 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다. 최성집 대표는 “기존 TIPS 성과에 이어 스케일업 팁스 선정을 통해 글로벌 시장 진출 기반을 강화하게 됐다”며 “AI 모델러와 바이오 데이터 큐레이터 등 핵심 인력을 확보해 연구자의 시간을 절감하는 글로벌 1위 연구-상거래 플랫폼을 완성하겠다”고 밝혔다.
이번 과제를 추천한 운영사 아주IB투자 정석환 팀장은 “퀀텀에이아이는 비정형 데이터 처리 원천 기술 ‘Data2Vec’을 보유한 기술 중심 스타트업으로, 바이오 시장의 문제를 해결할 명확한 비전을 갖고 있다”며 “AI 기술력과 산업 적용 가능성을 높이 평가해 추천했다”고 말했다.

Quantum AI Selected as a "Scale-Up Tips" by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups
Quantum AI (CEO Choi Sung-jip) , a company specializing in AI-based asset management of unstructured data, announced on the 10th that it had been selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' "Scale-up TIPS" program. This selection came shortly after Quantum AI was recognized as the "Best Post-TIPS Project."
"Scale-Up Tips" is a flagship government program that selects promising technology-based startups and supports them at each stage of their growth. Under this program, if an operating company (VC) invests more than 1 billion won, the government provides up to 1.2 billion won in research and development (R&D) and commercialization funds over three years.
Through this funding, Quantum AI will collaborate with Korea BTB, a bioreagent distribution company, to develop an intelligent paper-reagent search and e-commerce integrated platform based on a domain-specific lightweight language model (sLLM). Currently, bioresearchers are forced to manually compare information across multiple websites to search for papers and purchase reagents, an inefficient process. Quantum AI aims to solve this problem and improve research efficiency by leveraging AI technology.
This project was highly praised for extending Quantum AI's "Data2Vec Integrated Natural Language Processing Engine" technology to the bio field. CEO Choi Sung-jip stated, "Following our previous TIPS achievements, this selection for Scale-Up TIPS strengthens our foundation for global market entry. By securing key personnel, including AI modelers and bio data curators, we will complete the world's leading research-to-commerce platform, saving researchers time."
Team leader Seok-Hwan Jeong of Aju IB Investment, the operating company that recommended this project, said, “Quantum AI is a technology-focused startup that possesses ‘Data2Vec,’ a source technology for processing unstructured data, and has a clear vision for solving problems in the bio market,” adding, “We recommended it because we highly value its AI technology and potential for industrial application.”

AI（人工知能）ベースの非定型データ自酸化専門企業クアンタムエイアイ（代表チェ・ソンジプ）は、中小ベンチャー企業部の「スケールアップティップス（Scale-up TIPS）」プログラムに最終選定されたと10日明らかにした。今回の選定はクォンタムエイアイが「ポストチップス最優秀課題」と認められた直後に行われた。
「スケールアップチップス」は、有望な技術ベースのスタートアップを選別し、成長段階別に支援する政府の代表プログラムだ。このプログラムは、運営会社（VC）が10億ウォン以上を投資すれば、政府が3年間最大12億ウォンの研究開発（R&D）資金と事業化資金をマッチング支援する。

今回の課題を推薦した運営会社の非常にIB投資チョン・ソクファンチーム長は「クォンタムエーアイは非定型データ処理源技術「Data2Vec」を保有する技術中心のスタートアップで、バイオ市場の問題を解決する明確なビジョンを持っている」とし「AI技術力と産業適用可能性を高く評価して推薦した」と話した。

“Scale-Up Tips”是一项旗舰级政府计划，旨在遴选具有发展潜力的科技型初创企业，并在其成长的各个阶段提供支持。根据该计划，如果运营公司（风险投资公司）投资超过10亿韩元，政府将在三年内提供最高12亿韩元的研发和商业化资金。
通过这笔资金，Quantum AI将与生物试剂分销公司Korea BTB合作，开发一个基于领域特定轻量级语言模型（sLLM）的智能纸质试剂搜索和电子商务集成平台。目前，生物研究人员不得不手动在多个网站上比对信息以查找论文和购买试剂，效率低下。Quantum AI旨在利用人工智能技术解决这一问题，提高研究效率。

L'intelligence artificielle quantique sélectionnée comme « conseil de croissance » par le ministère des PME et des Startups
Quantum AI (PDG : Choi Sung-jip) , entreprise spécialisée dans la gestion d'actifs basée sur l'IA pour les données non structurées, a annoncé le 10 avoir été sélectionnée pour le programme « Scale-up TIPS » du ministère des PME et des Startups. Cette sélection intervient peu après que Quantum AI ait été reconnue comme le « Meilleur projet post-TIPS ».
« Scale-Up Tips » est un programme gouvernemental phare qui sélectionne des start-ups technologiques prometteuses et les accompagne à chaque étape de leur développement. Dans le cadre de ce programme, si une société de capital-risque investit plus d'un milliard de wons, le gouvernement finance la recherche et le développement ainsi que la commercialisation de la start-up à hauteur de 1,2 milliard de wons sur trois ans.
Grâce à ce financement, Quantum AI collaborera avec Korea BTB, une entreprise de distribution de bioréactifs, afin de développer une plateforme intégrée de recherche de publications et de réactifs, ainsi qu'une plateforme de commerce électronique, basée sur un modèle de langage léger et spécifique au domaine (sLLM). Actuellement, les chercheurs en biotechnologie sont contraints de comparer manuellement les informations provenant de nombreux sites web pour rechercher des publications et acheter des réactifs, un processus fastidieux. Quantum AI ambitionne de résoudre ce problème et d'améliorer l'efficacité de la recherche grâce à l'intelligence artificielle.
Ce projet a été salué pour l'extension de la technologie « Data2Vec Integrated Natural Language Processing Engine » de Quantum AI au domaine de la biologie. Le PDG, Choi Sung-jip, a déclaré : « Suite à nos précédents succès au sein du programme TIPS, cette sélection pour Scale-Up TIPS renforce notre position sur le marché mondial. En recrutant des talents clés, notamment des modélisateurs d'IA et des gestionnaires de données biologiques, nous allons finaliser la plateforme de référence mondiale reliant la recherche au commerce, permettant ainsi aux chercheurs de gagner un temps précieux. »
Seok-Hwan Jeong, chef d'équipe chez Aju IB Investment, la société d'exploitation qui a recommandé ce projet, a déclaré : « Quantum AI est une startup axée sur la technologie qui possède "Data2Vec", une technologie source pour le traitement des données non structurées, et qui a une vision claire de la résolution des problèmes du marché de la biotechnologie », ajoutant : « Nous l'avons recommandée car nous apprécions beaucoup sa technologie d'IA et son potentiel d'application industrielle. »
