실시간 주차 내비게이션 시스템 ‘워치마일(Watchmile)’을 공급하는 ㈜베스텔라랩(대표 정상수)이 오만의 Indoor Intelligence 전문기업 ‘Walkk’(법인명 ROUTE SMART LLC)와 실내·실외 통합 내비게이션 솔루션 공동 개발을 위한 양해각서(MOU)를 체결했다고 12일 밝혔다. 협약식은 지난 6일(현지시각) 사우디아라비아 리야드에서 열린 BIBAN 행사장에서 진행됐으며, 코트라(KOTRA) 해외지사화 사업의 지원을 받아 성사됐다.
Walkk는 오만을 기반으로 병원, 전시장, 대형 축제 공간 등에서 실내 위치 인식 및 AR 내비게이션 서비스를 제공하는 기업으로, 이용자의 이동 데이터를 분석해 효율적인 이동 경로를 제시하는 기술을 보유하고 있다. 특히 오만 내 주요 행사인 ‘Muscat Nights’, ‘LEGO Shows’, ‘Muscat International Book Fair’ 등에 기술을 적용했다.
이번 협약을 통해 양사는 베스텔라랩의 Physical AI 기반 공간지능화 기술과 Walkk의 AR 내비게이션 플랫폼을 결합, 실내·실외 통합형 글로벌 내비게이션 솔루션을 공동 개발할 계획이다. 중동 주요 도시의 스마트시티 인프라를 중심으로 단계적 실증 사업도 추진한다.
베스텔라랩의 ‘워치마일(Watchmile)’은 Vision AI와 실내 측위 기술을 융합한 Physical AI 기반 공간지능화 솔루션으로, 기존 CCTV만으로도 주차면 점유 현황을 분석하고 빈 공간을 실시간 안내한다. 이용자 성향을 반영해 최적의 주차 위치를 제시하며, 현재 서울역과 천호역, 킨텍스 등 주요 공영주차장 및 주거·산업 단지에서 운영되고 있다.
또한 베스텔라랩은 건물 내 인프라(CCTV, 센서 등)를 지능화해 자율주행차와 로봇이 주차 및 이동 정보를 활용할 수 있는 환경을 구축하고 있다. 이번 협력을 통해 중동 지역을 비롯한 글로벌 시장 진출 확대에 속도를 낼 방침이다.

Vestella Lab Signs MOU with Middle Eastern Company Walkk
Bestella Lab Co., Ltd. (CEO Sang-soo Jeong), the supplier of the real-time parking navigation system 'Watchmile', announced on the 12th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Oman's Indoor Intelligence specialist 'Walkk' (corporate name ROUTE SMART LLC) for the joint development of an indoor/outdoor integrated navigation solution. The agreement signing ceremony was held at the BIBAN event held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on the 6th (local time), and was made possible with the support of KOTRA's overseas branch establishment project.
Walkk, an Oman-based company providing indoor location recognition and AR navigation services for hospitals, exhibition halls, and large festival venues, possesses technology that analyzes user movement data to suggest efficient travel routes. It has applied its technology to major events in Oman, including "Muscat Nights," "LEGO Shows," and the "Muscat International Book Fair."
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to jointly develop an integrated indoor/outdoor global navigation solution by combining Bestella Lab's physical AI-based spatial intelligence technology with Walkk's AR navigation platform. They will also pursue a phased demonstration project centered on smart city infrastructure in major cities in the Middle East.
Vestella Lab's "Watchmile" is a physical AI-based spatial intelligence solution that combines vision AI and indoor positioning technology. Using only existing CCTV, it analyzes parking space occupancy and provides real-time guidance on available spaces. It reflects user preferences to suggest optimal parking locations, and is currently operating in major public parking lots, including Seoul Station, Cheonho Station, and KINTEX, as well as residential and industrial complexes.
Additionally, Vestella Lab is creating an environment where autonomous vehicles and robots can utilize parking and movement information by intelligentizing building infrastructure (CCTVs, sensors, etc.). Through this collaboration, Vestella Lab plans to accelerate its expansion into global markets, including the Middle East.

Bestella Lab Co., Ltd. (PDG : Sang-soo Jeong), fournisseur du système de navigation de stationnement en temps réel « Watchmile », a annoncé le 12 juin la signature d’un protocole d’accord avec Walkk (nom commercial : ROUTE SMART LLC), spécialiste omanais des solutions d’intelligence intérieure, pour le développement conjoint d’une solution de navigation intégrée intérieur/extérieur. La cérémonie de signature s’est déroulée le 6 juin (heure locale) lors du salon BIBAN à Riyad, en Arabie saoudite, grâce au soutien du projet d’implantation de filiales à l’étranger de KOTRA.
Walkk, une entreprise omanaise spécialisée dans la géolocalisation intérieure et la navigation en réalité augmentée pour les hôpitaux, les halls d'exposition et les grands sites de festivals, dispose d'une technologie qui analyse les données de déplacement des utilisateurs afin de suggérer des itinéraires optimaux. Elle a déjà déployé cette technologie lors d'événements majeurs à Oman, tels que « Muscat Nights », « LEGO Shows » et le « Foire internationale du livre de Mascate ».
Grâce à cet accord, les deux entreprises prévoient de développer conjointement une solution de navigation globale intégrée, intérieure et extérieure, en combinant la technologie d'intelligence spatiale basée sur l'IA physique de Bestella Lab avec la plateforme de navigation en réalité augmentée de Walkk. Elles mèneront également un projet de démonstration progressif axé sur les infrastructures de villes intelligentes dans les principales métropoles du Moyen-Orient.
« Watchmile » de Vestella Lab est une solution d'intelligence spatiale basée sur l'IA physique, combinant vision par ordinateur et géolocalisation intérieure. Utilisant uniquement les images de vidéosurveillance existantes, elle analyse l'occupation des places de parking et fournit des indications en temps réel sur les places disponibles. Elle tient compte des préférences des utilisateurs pour suggérer les emplacements de stationnement optimaux et est actuellement déployée dans les principaux parkings publics, notamment ceux des gares de Séoul et de Cheonho, ainsi que dans le centre commercial KINTEX, et dans des complexes résidentiels et industriels.
