㈜소셜인프라테크가 KAIST 글로벌디지털혁신대학원과 협력해 블록체인 기반 디지털 전환(DX) 및 스마트 인프라 글로벌 확산 사업을 추진한다. 소셜인프라테크는 지난 11월 25일 KAIST와 업무협약을 체결하고 AI·블록체인 기반 스마트 인프라 연구, 스마트 농업 및 AI 데이터 신뢰 기술 개발, 국내외 디지털 혁신 프로젝트 공동 발굴, 글로벌 전문인재 양성 등의 분야에서 협력 체계를 구축했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 KAIST의 연구 역량과 소셜인프라테크의 블록체인 기반 데이터 전주기 무결성 보장 기술을 결합해 공공 분야와 국제 개발, 스마트시티 등 다양한 분야에서 실증 사업을 추진하기 위한 전략적 협력이라는 점에서 의미가 크다.
양 기관은 AI·블록체인 기반 사이버보안 및 데이터 거버넌스 기술 연구를 비롯해 Edge-AI 기반 스마트 농업 솔루션, IoT 도시 인프라 데이터 검증 기술 개발, 해외 정부 및 국제기구와의 협력 사업을 확대할 예정이다. 특히 KAIST 글로벌디지털혁신대학원의 해외 네트워크를 활용해 필리핀, 베트남, 사우디아라비아, UAE 등 디지털 전환 수요가 높은 국가를 중심으로 실증 및 사업화를 추진할 계획이다.
협력 확대를 위해 공동 연구센터 설립, 글로벌 DX 교육 프로그램 개설, 국외 실증 프로젝트 확대, 산업 생태계 협력 기반 구축 등이 단계적으로 진행된다. 소셜인프라테크는 이를 통해 연구, 실증, 사업화를 아우르는 데이터 전주기 신뢰 기술 플랫폼 기업으로의 입지를 강화한다는 전략이다.

Social Infra Tech Signs MOU with KAIST Global Digital Innovation Graduate School
Social Infra Tech Co., Ltd. is partnering with the KAIST Graduate School of Global Digital Innovation to promote blockchain-based digital transformation (DX) and smart infrastructure global expansion. Social Infra Tech announced on November 25th that it signed a business agreement with KAIST and established a collaborative system in areas such as AI/blockchain-based smart infrastructure research, smart agriculture and AI data trust technology development, joint exploration of domestic and international digital innovation projects, and training of global experts.

To expand collaboration, the company will establish a joint research center, launch a global DX training program, expand overseas demonstration projects, and establish a foundation for industrial ecosystem cooperation. Through these initiatives, Social Infra Tech aims to strengthen its position as a trusted technology platform company encompassing the entire data lifecycle, encompassing research, demonstration, and commercialization.
