통합 IT 보안 전문기업 SGA솔루션즈(대표 최영철)가 12월 9일 열린 ‘2025 정보보호산업인의 밤’에서 정보보호 산업 발전에 기여한 공로로 과학기술정보통신부 장관 표창을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
정보보호산업 발전 유공 과학기술정보통신부 장관 표창은 정보보호의 중요성에 대한 사회적 공감대를 확산하고 국민 관심도를 높이기 위해 관련 유공자를 발굴하여 포상하는 제도다.
최영철 대표는 1997년 한국정보보호진흥원(KISA) 연구원을 시작으로 비씨큐어와 SGA솔루션즈 대표를 거치며 28년간 국내 정보보호 산업의 성장과 기술 자립, 민간 확산에 기여한 공로를 인정받았다.
그는 서버 보안 솔루션 ‘RedCastle’, 전자문서 기반 메일 서비스 ‘샵메일’, Non-ActiveX 방식 공인인증·전자서명 서비스 ‘트러스트 채널’을 개발하며 국내 보안 기술 발전과 시장 혁신을 이끌었다.
또한 클라우드 보안 솔루션 ‘Aegis’ 시리즈를 선보였고, 국내 유일 Full-Stack 제로 트러스트 아키텍처 솔루션 ‘SGA ZTA’를 개발·출시했다. 최 대표는 ‘제로트러스트 가이드라인 v1.0·v2.0’ 집필진으로 참여하고, 국가 망 보안체계(N2SF) 구축 TFT 운영위원으로도 활동하며 정책과 기술 표준 정립에 기여했다.
SGA솔루션즈는 최영철 대표의 리더십을 기반으로 3년 연속 정부 주관 차세대 보안 패러다임 사업 주관사로 선정되며 제로트러스트 분야 전문성을 강화했다. 앞으로 ‘SGA ZTA 오버레이’를 중심으로 N2SF, 자율보안체계, K-RMF 등 산업 전반의 보안 패러다임 전환에 대응할 계획이다.

SGA Solutions (CEO Choi Young-cheol) , an integrated IT security specialist, announced that it received a commendation from the Minister of Science and ICT for its contribution to the development of the information security industry at the '2025 Information Security Industry Night' held on December 9.
The Minister of Science and ICT's Award for Contribution to the Development of the Information Security Industry is a system designed to discover and reward individuals who have contributed to the development of the information security industry, in order to spread social consensus on the importance of information security and increase public interest.
CEO Choi Young-cheol was recognized for his contributions to the growth of the domestic information security industry, technological independence, and private sector expansion over the past 28 years, beginning as a researcher at the Korea Information Security Agency (KISA) in 1997 and later serving as CEO of BSecure and SGA Solutions.
He led the advancement of domestic security technology and market innovation by developing the server security solution 'RedCastle', the electronic document-based mail service 'Shopmail', and the non-ActiveX method public certification and electronic signature service 'Trust Channel'.
Additionally, the company introduced the "Aegis" series of cloud security solutions and developed and launched "SGA ZTA," Korea's only full-stack zero-trust architecture solution. CEO Choi participated as a writer for the "ZeroTrust Guidelines v1.0 and v2.0" and served as a member of the Task Force for the National Network Security Framework (N2SF) construction project, contributing to the establishment of policy and technical standards.
Under the leadership of CEO Choi Young-cheol, SGA Solutions has strengthened its expertise in the zero-trust field by being selected as the lead contractor for the government-sponsored Next-Generation Security Paradigm Project for three consecutive years. Going forward, SGA Solutions plans to respond to the industry-wide security paradigm shift, focusing on the "SGA ZTA Overlay," through initiatives such as N2SF, autonomous security systems, and K-RMF.

Le PDG Choi Young-cheol a été reconnu pour sa contribution à la croissance de l'industrie nationale de la sécurité de l'information, à l'indépendance technologique et à l'expansion du secteur privé au cours des 28 dernières années, depuis ses débuts comme chercheur à l'Agence coréenne de sécurité de l'information (KISA) en 1997 jusqu'à son poste de PDG de BSecure et de SGA Solutions.
Il a été un acteur majeur du développement des technologies de sécurité intérieure et de l'innovation sur le marché en créant la solution de sécurité serveur « RedCastle », le service de messagerie électronique « Shopmail » et le service d'authentification publique et de signature électronique sans ActiveX « Trust Channel ».
