패션의류 CAD 도면 생성과 원단 배치 최적화를 기반으로 한 AX 통합 디자인 솔루션을 개발·운영 중인 패션테크 스타트업 패딧은 중소벤처기업부의 기술 창업 지원 프로그램 팁스에 최종 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
팁스는 중소벤처기업부가 주관하는 민관 협력 기술 창업 지원 제도로, 우수한 기술력을 보유한 스타트업을 민간 투자사가 발굴해 투자하면 정부가 연구개발 자금을 연계 지원하는 방식으로 운영된다. 선정 기업은 향후 2년간 최대 5억 원의 연구개발 자금과 2억 원의 사업화 및 마케팅 자금을 지원받을 수 있다.
패딧은 팁스 운영사이자 스타트업 투자 전문 액셀러레이터인 씨엔티테크의 추천을 통해 이번 프로그램에 선정됐으며, 향후 2년간 최대 7억 원 규모의 연구개발 및 사업화 자금을 지원받게 된다.
패딧은 스케치 기반 디자인 입력부터 의류 CAD 도면 생성, 작업지시서 자동화까지 이어지는 패션의류 AX 통합 디자인 솔루션을 개발·운영하고 있다. 디자이너의 초기 스케치 데이터를 생산 단계에서 바로 활용 가능한 CAD 도면과 작업지시서로 전환해, 의류 제작 과정에서 발생하는 반복 작업과 커뮤니케이션 비용을 줄이는 데 주력하고 있다.
한편 패딧은 벤처기업 인증과 소셜벤처 인증을 획득했으며, 중소벤처기업부 스마트공장 정책의 일환인 스마트공장 공급기업 풀에 선정돼 봉제공장과 패션 브랜드를 대상으로 솔루션을 공식 공급할 수 있는 자격을 갖췄다. 이와 함께 2025년 청년창업사관학교 선정과 투자 유치를 통해 기술력과 성장 가능성을 지속적으로 인정받고 있다.
Padit selected as a TIPS by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups
Fashion tech startup Padit, which is developing and operating an AX integrated design solution based on fashion apparel CAD drawing creation and fabric placement optimization, announced that it has been selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' technology startup support program TIPS.
TIPS is a public-private partnership technology startup support program hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Private investors identify and invest in startups with exceptional technological capabilities, and the government provides funding in return for R&D support. Selected companies can receive up to 500 million won in R&D funding and 200 million won in commercialization and marketing support over the next two years.
Padit was selected for this program through the recommendation of CNT Tech, a TIPS operator and startup investment accelerator, and will receive up to 700 million won in research and development and commercialization funding over the next two years.
Padit develops and operates an integrated fashion apparel AX design solution, encompassing everything from sketch-based design input to garment CAD drawing generation and automated work instructions. By converting designers' initial sketch data into CAD drawings and work instructions that can be used immediately during the production phase, the company focuses on reducing repetitive tasks and communication costs associated with the apparel production process.
Meanwhile, Padit has received venture business and social venture certifications and has been selected as a smart factory supplier pool under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' smart factory policy, qualifying it to officially supply solutions to garment factories and fashion brands. Furthermore, its technological prowess and growth potential continue to be recognized, with selection for the 2025 Youth Entrepreneurship Academy and investment attraction.
