서울대학교기술지주(대표 목승환)가 2025년 한 해 동안 스타트업 투자와 창업 생태계 기여 성과를 정리한 인포그래픽을 공개했다.
서울대기술지주는 2025 중소벤처기업부 장관 표창을 ‘우수 창업기획자(AC)’와 ‘2025 팁스 우수 운영사’ 부문에서 동시에 수상하며 국가대표 창업 지원 기관임을 입증했다. 포트폴리오 기업인 리벨리온도 ‘올해의 팁스 기업’으로 선정돼 중기부 장관 표창을 받았다. 운영사와 포트폴리오 기업이 동시에 표창을 받은 것은 서울대기술지주의 투자 안목과 전주기 지원 역량을 보여주는 사례로 평가된다.
2025년 한 해 동안 서울대기술지주는 31개 기업에 총 74억 원을 투자했다. 신규 포트폴리오 23개사와 기존 기업 8개사에 대한 후속 투자를 통해 스타트업의 지속 성장을 지원했다. 주요 신규 투자 기업으로는 에이플라, 블루로빈, 밍글랩, 세이프키친, 위페어, 다다닥헬스케어가 있으며, 리벨리온, 나눔비타민, 스페이스빔, 퓨어스페이스 등 기존 기업에도 후속 투자를 진행했다.
서울대기술지주는 딥테크, 바이오, 플랫폼, 디지털 콘텐츠, 소비재 등 다양한 기술 기반 포트폴리오를 운영하며, 정부지원사업과 자체 성장 프로그램을 통해 창업팀을 다각도로 지원하고 있다. TIPS 프로그램에 추천 및 선정된 기업은 누적 101개사에 달한다.
펀드 운용 측면에서는 ‘서울대 STH 브라이토닉스 개인투자조합’의 성공적인 만기 해산을 완료하며 대학 차원의 프로젝트 펀드를 통한 후속 투자 유치와 EXIT 사례를 만들어냈다.
목승환 대표는 “대학의 시대적 소명인 창업을 위해 초기 단계 기업의 첫걸음을 지원하고, 전주기 프로그램을 통해 스타트업과 함께 성장하겠다”며 “지속적인 성공 사례를 만들어 투자자와 창업자 모두에게 신뢰받는 기관으로 자리매김하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The fact that both the operator and portfolio company received awards simultaneously demonstrates Seoul National University Technology Holdings' investment acumen and full-cycle support capabilities.
Through 2025, Seoul National University Technology Holdings invested a total of KRW 7.4 billion in 31 companies. This investment supported the continued growth of startups through follow-up investments in 23 new portfolio companies and eight existing companies. Key new investments include Apla, Blue Robin, Mingle Lab, Safe Kitchen, Wifair, and Dadadak Healthcare. Follow-up investments were also made in existing companies such as Rebellion, Nanum Vitamin, Space Beam, and Pure Space.
Seoul National University Technology Holdings operates a diverse technology-based portfolio encompassing deep tech, biotechnology, platforms, digital content, and consumer goods. It also provides comprehensive support to startup teams through government-funded projects and its own growth programs. A total of 101 companies have been recommended and selected for the TIPS program.
In terms of fund management, the successful dissolution of the 'Seoul National University STH Brightonics Private Investment Association' was completed, and follow-up investment was attracted through a university-level project fund, creating an EXIT case.
CEO Mok Seung-hwan stated, “In line with the university’s mission of the times, we will support the first steps of early-stage companies and grow together with startups through full-cycle programs. We will create continuous success stories and establish ourselves as a trustworthy institution for both investors and entrepreneurs.”
